My group stayed here to ski stowe for a few days and had a great time! Great location, spacious, clean apartment. It was a great place to come back to after a day on the mountain.

This is a fantastic spot to stay. It was spacious and in walking distance of many places in town. There was also ample parking available. The property looked and felt as if it had been thoroughly cleaned prior to my arrival.
The house was beautifully decorated with antiques which may not be ideal for guests with toddlers. I enjoyed the antiques as they gave the property a unique feel and allowed me to discover beautiful new details every day.
This property was perfect for me as I was there on a longer stay. I highly recommend this staying here if you are in Waterbury for a while and want a spot where you can be settled and make your own meals as well as have a quiet space to work from. I booked it last minute and I am so grateful that it was available.
The Wifi was also great as I was working some from the property. It was fast and easy to log on to.

Cute, spacious apartment in a great location, filled with nice antiques and collectibles. Housekeeping was severely lacking as there was visible dust on all the furniture, cobwebs in the closets, in the showers, and behind furniture. Pillows and linens were old and shabby. No washcloths were available. Toaster\oven in kitchen was very dirty and filled with food crumbs.

This was a great stay! The location was perfect, walkable to shops and restaurants. Locals seemed super friendly. All round great. The apartment was huge and served it's purpose, but parts of it just felt a bit strange. Like the matchstick favours from a wedding in the 80's in the coffee storage jar. It was super quaint though and clean enough.if you're expecting a sparkling clean and minimalist apartment - Don't stay here... but if you want somewhere quirky to stay in a good location with the essentials this place is perfect. It just needs a little love ☺️

My three friends and I had such an enjoyable time. We were a bit anxious when we read the reviews from May and June, but I called the property manager, Nevin and true to his word, the house was very clean! It appears there is some remodeling taking place between guests, so that may explain the former complaints. The location is perfectly located and we could walk to several excellent dining venues and the front porch was a great place to start and end our day chatting. We had 2 issues that, while not earth shattering, was inconvenient. The bedroom with 2 twins did not have any cable cords running from the tv so it obviously didn't work. Also, the Keurig is broken and leaks out the top when trying to make coffee. We managed, but we did end up with grounds in our cups. I called Nevin, the property manager and advised him but if you are staying there and either of these are important, I'd recommend calling to be sure it has been addressed. Otherwise, we had a great time, loved the place and will book it again if we return to Waterbury!

i don't know what was the whole point of paying the 75 for cleaning. There was so much thick dust everywhere within 24 hours, my allergies worse, wreaking havoc. It states that pets aren't allowed, but found dog hair all over the main bathroom. There was food still left in the refrigerators And no cooking utensils. At all, in the middle of cooking dinner, I had to stop and send my husband to the store to buy a spatula. This place is not kid friendly. There is glassware all over the house, like an antique store. The next morning, we were finding big bugs here and there. We just kept telling ourselves it was just for one more night. Couldn't afford to go anywhere else and couldn't go back home since We were there for my graduation. Floors were not cleaned when we got there. So before we could unload anything into the house, we had to. Sweep all the floors throughout the house. It's interesting how there were blinds for all the windows except for the parking lot. I don't know if the upstairs person is the homeowner or not, but definitely felt like we were being watched whenever they were coming or going. The only benefit staying at this location was it was cheaper than a hotel. the second bathroom is in middle of construction. And the foldout couch has mysterious stains all over it. But yet you want guests to sleep on it? But I stay here again. Probably not.

The location is amazing - downtown Waterbury, a very short walk to the city center.
- House is very nice looking from the outside, and spacious. Has that historical New England look and feel.
- Check-in process was quick and easy - just a key code to the door. So far, it's a solid 5/5 for the rating.
- That's until you use one of the two washrooms: one washroom is absolutely filthy - dirt, construction dust and grime on all surfaces. I have pictures to prove it, but this site doesn't allow that.
- There was a strong chemical smell - epoxy resin/glue - that you could not ignore, and that gave me headaches - I could not wait to leave.
I'd consider going back if the unit was properly clean and didn't reek of an epoxy resin smell. Had I know that before booking, I would definitely have stayed elsewhere and had a much more enjoyable visit.

A surprising amount of space actually with the dinning room and the laundry room, felt like we had a whole house to ourselves.

The property itself is charming with versatile rooms and lovely porches. We couldn't ask for a better location.
