Hike around the island and explore our native wildlife and foliage. - About 30 miles away is the historical fishing community of Apalachicola. It's perfect for a day trip to do a little shopping, stroll along the Apalachicola River, or grab some of the best seafood around! You won't be disappointed! The property is set up for contactless entry. We will not be at the property in person and communication through the app is preferred. Our neighborhood is full of other charming beach cottages and offers a quaint and quiet atmosphere. The home is centrally located in the heart of Port St. Joe, within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. You will be close to lots of outdoor activities, food, and entertainment options, including walking trails, live music, dining, shopping, the Sea Turtle Museum, the historical Lighthouse, and St. Joe Bay. Guests will have access to the lower unit of our turquoise beach home. You have your own private entrance and your own private screened-in porch. Welcome to our cozy, beach-y cottage, conveniently located in the heart of Port St. Joe. The space is considered a studio apartment because it is the lower level of a renovated home. You will have your own private entrance that opens up to an open-concept living, dining, and kitchenette. Enjoy a movie on the comfy couch and prepare a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchenette. We’ve included all of the basics to ensure guests are able to easily cook during their stay. You’ll find a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishes/utensils, cooking basics, coffee maker/coffee, toaster, double burner electric cooktop and more. The bedroom is set apart from the rest of the unit but does not have a private door. It features a queen bed and there is also an extra area with a daybed, trundle, and vanity. The full bathroom is stocked with toiletries and plenty of linens. Relax on the private screened-in porch or enjoy star gazing outside by the fire pit. Additional amenities at the unit include a fish cleaning station, a communal laundry room (free of charge), and an outdoor shower. There is free parking onsite. As we are centrally located, guests can easily walk to many of the restaurants and stores downtown. The most convenient way to move through town is walking, biking, or driving. Please note that currently Uber and Lyft are not available in our area.
