Despite several emails and a text message we had no idea how to access the property. Luckily it was open on arrival but it was disconcerting to say the least. The room was dusty with cobwebs over the sink and the dishwasher was full of dirty crockery. It was galling to pay a fee for cleaning when obviously it is not cleaned regularly. The shower outside had no running water. This property should be removed from your listing and we should really have a refund for such appalling service.

If wanted to go camping and use a tent to shower and go to the toilet we would have. The communication with owner was poor. The place was freezing cold (having to sleep in our jeans, jackets and jumpers) really considered leaving before morning, probably cause of heater just didn’t work properly or cause of a bit of window missing. The lack of privacy could be a concern for some people. A great gift was the fresh eggs however with no oil, butter, salt, pepper, sauce or bread a little pointless. So on the positive side nice bed. With just a few little extras it really could be a good little stay

Well situated in Strathalbyn. Large, light studio. Bed very comfortable. Accepted that there was a portable shower and toilet outside but no light outside for night-time and walk to it was on uneven ground. To make things easier - light switches named. Heating instructions on heater - did not come on. Having carpet/rug under the lounge would make the room feel warmer. Not too sure about the rooster being the alarm clock.

Arriving to expect something less than anticipated but was surprised as to what was presented. A warm clean offering to sit back, relax and chill with a HUGE tv starering down at you from its perch on the wall. Bedding was very a welcoming and warm conclusion after being on the road for 15 hours. The bathroom and toilet, even though not part of the accommodation was a temporary but very adequate solution provided. The shower worked a treat and provided constant hot water with no issues at all. Considering that this, by first impressions is a lodging in the works, I'd stay again. The three critical points hit the brief: Hot shower A comfy place to sleep A HUGE TV Oh I forgot, a kitchen to prep food For the price, happy as 😉😊😁

Very poor communication and property, safety hazards (broken window and power cords on staircase) lack of communication about amenities. Didnt end up staying, drove home in the middle of the night.

No instructions for the stay. No bin near toilet for sanitary products. There was a small heater, but not enough to warm up the whole room (even around the bed). The host mailed me that she can give another heater if I am cold. I replied at about 5 pm that I need it cause I was feeling too cold at that time. However, I couldn't get any response from the host. I used the toilet just once because I didn't expect such a camp-style toilet. (And the toilet paper that was used before I came in was still in there, and it smelled.) I left the studio at 0615 this morning because it was very cold that I stayed up all night. And also I wanted to go to the bathroom. I left a text message to the host, but no response. Overall quite disappointed.

This studio apartment is a cute little gem situated in Strathalbyn. The location of the stay was close enough to get everywhere by foot if you don’t mind a 15 minute walk. This place has everything you need for a good getaway for the weekend or long stay which includes all the daily amenities. Bec (the owner) was amazing. She ensured I was comfortable and was always a phone call or text away when I needed help with any problems big or small. Would recommend to anyone if staying in Strathalbyn!!

Camp toilet was clogged with 1 use and wasn’t looked at for hours - used owners house toilet but was locked out at 9:30pm and had to go to the petrol station. Shower worked but wasn’t prepared (had to find the hose and enter property to plug in to use and work out how to use alone) No mirror for getting ready, no hand soap or sanitiser, no bin near toilet for sanitary products, no bin liner inside, sink leaked all over floor and no mop or broom for sweeping. Overall quite disappointing stay with basic human needs of a working toilet not met.
