The well-equipped and modern kitchen features granite countertops and upgraded appliances - including a stainless steel refrigerator and a five-burner electric stove. A large center island provides plenty of counter space for preparing delicious home-cooked meals. Sip morning coffee at the breakfast bar with seating for two. When it’s time to eat, gather around the six-person dining table. The primary bedroom features a 32-inch TV and a sitting area for two. A set of French doors leads out onto the lanai. THINGS TO KNOW Located on the second floor, this home is access via one flight of steps. Please note, this home has a lower-level unit which is occupied by a long-term tenant. A laundry room is shared with the lower-level unit. Quiet hours should be observed after 9pm. Guests will receive discounted rates at the Waikoloa Village Golf Course. Lots of space, very clean, comfy bed, great view, quiet neighborhood and a well stocked kitchen. They also had two beach chairs and some other beach equipment. I would definitely stay here again. Sunsets were gorgeous!

Kitchen is probably the best stocked we've seen in any vacation rental, and there is a beach umbrella and other items to use. Had a great view of Maui/Haleakala, the ocean, Mauna Loa and the Kohala Mountains. Dryer takes 2 cycles to dry, and the driveway is a little funky, but other than that we had a great stay. Loved the balcony.

Beautiful place - very quiet and peaceful. It was well stocked with anything you would need. Place was bigger than we expected. Tenant downstairs was very friendly and helpful in telling us sights to see and how to get there. Would recommend this house.

My family loved this home! The view was wonderful. The outside lanai was large with comfortable seating! The house had all the little things you could think of, plus more. Beds were comfortable, and the home was clean. The pictures really don’t show how large the space is. We were pleasantly surprised! The community is very laid back, safe, and relaxing. Neighbors were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a rental in this area.

The home feels very spacious and has a well equiped kitchen. ( Surprisingly it didn't have a kettle).

Kona was our second island we stayed on our two week Hawaii adventure. A little hard to find at first. But finally we arrived to most beautiful home on our trip. The set up of this home was perfect. The balcony was placed so perfect the winds never effected relaxation time on the second floor balcony.
Considering Kona winds can be unpleasant. This home adds to the ambience in natural beauty of this island!! Thank you from the Rios and Valencia families!

This was a beautiful home with lovely views of the sunsets and ocean. We really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Everything went smoothly and it was even better than I expected. There is a nice village nearby with lots of dining possibilities.

The weather was perfect for 35 days and we barely needed the A/C because of the breeze. There were a couple small issues with the house but the management team dealt with them promptly.

The property was as described and exceeded our expectations. This was not only our first time visiting Hawaii, it was our first time renting a property of this kind. Arrival was super easy and the communication was great. Things were very tidy and the amount of items in the cabinets was amazing. We had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, There is a market just 5 minutes away. Having access to laundry facilities made for packing less for the trip. The place was very quite at night and the view of the sunset from the Lanai every night was amazing. When return to the Big Island we will definitely be stay here again.

As I recall the incredible experience that we shared on this trip, I can think of any suggestions that would make the stay in the home possibly any better than it was. It was just as advertised, the home and furniture were perfect in term of all of our needs for the trip, and communication with the property owner was seamless, easy, and Aloha. I've saved the property on my account as a favorite, and I'm optimistically crossing my fingers that on our next trip to the Big Island its available to us. Thank you!

Awesome stay for 5 weeks
We just got back from our 5 week stay at this unit. We absolutely LOVED it and we have the following comments:
- The unit is on the 2nd floor with AWESOME views! We ate every meal on the very spacious lanai. We loved that!
- The unit is quite large and spacious with a large master bedroom and a large living area plus a large lanai.
- The long term resident on the 1st floor does smoke occasionally but we didn't find it overly annoying, even when we were on the lanai (we are non-smokers). And introduce yourself to him! He is quite nice!
- Beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels were provided with the unit for which we were quite grateful
- The A/C in the unit was helpful for when things got a little toasty in the afternoon/evening
- The tropical breezes in Waikaloa Village are awesome! Our son slept outside on the lanai when it was breezy during the nights.
- There is a mango tree and a papaya tree in the back yard that you can get some ripe mangos and papayas from.
- There was a mandatory evacuation due to a fire the first Sunday we were there. Turnkey contacted us to make sure we were safe and to make sure we had a place to stay. Many thanks to Turnkey for watching out for us.
Overall we had an absolutely awesome time staying here! We will be back for sure!

Our experience at this property was really great. The location is great and the house was clean when we arrived. The house matches the images online very well. One of our requirements for a property was that there was AC, and this property has AC and has multiple control panels throughout the house. We didn't have any issues with cigarette smoke, from the tenant living down downstairs, as mentioned in previous reviews. The one thing was is there was no additional toilet paper in the guest bathroom in the guest bathroom, so we had to buy our own. But all in all we had a really great time at this property. And all the communications with Turnkey was very easy to follow and they responded to emails quickly.

NON-SMOKERS BEWARE

There were several disappointments with this property. First, and most disturbingly, the unit sits atop a ground floor 'apartment' that has a 'long term resident' who smokes! As a NON-SMOKER in a TurnKey/VACASA NON-SMOKING unit, I was amazed and angry that the listing for this property failed to advise that the bottom floor unit was occupied by a smoker. We were run off our lanai several times during the day and evening hours every day due to cigarette smoke drifting onto our deck and dining patio. We were unable to eat dinner outdoors because of cigarette smoke! We were unable to open the master bedroom windows because of cigarette smoke! When I advised your property manager about this very unhappy situation, I was told after several phone calls, that TurnKey was unable to rectify the situation as you do not manage the bottom unit in this property. While you do advise the fact that there is a long term tenant beneath the vacation rental you are irresponsible for failing to include the fact that he smokes outdoors and directly under the vacation rental lanai! In addition, the unit was not entirely clean, contrary to what is stated in the listing! Room door handles, kitchen cupboard door handles, both kitchen sinks, appliances and kitchen countertops were grimy, covered in food particles and definitely not disinfected. The kitchen disposal had not been cleared of old food when we arrived and reeked of fish! We had to dump disinfectant into the disposal in order to stand in the kitchen. Inexcusable! In addition, the living room and dining room area rugs were stained and dirty. The only pluses to this unit were its space, location, and clean sheets and towels. Because of this experience with your disingenuous property listing and your property's condition, I will avoid all TurnKey/VACASA properties in the future. There is plenty of competition to not have to encounter another experience of this kind again!

We enjoyed our month in this house. The layout was perfect for us. The area was quiet and centrally located between Kona, Hilo, and Waimea. Our only concern was never getting a response from TurnKey about the internet speed. I called 4 times during the booking process to ensure adequate speed for video conferences, but never got an answer. For anyone needing that information, the internet speed was excellent, ranging from 25 to 240 Mbs download depending on time of day.

It’s a nice place and we’ll layer out. Bed covers are dated but still comfortable beds. I’d stay here again. The home is lovely, very clean and well maintained with lots of amenities. We were disappointed that the pool was under renovation, a huge project that clearly had been scheduled for quite some time. We were informed of this about 10 days prior to our arrival, a point at which we would not have been refunded our money for the reservation. Handrail along the stairs needs to be refinished.

Super clean, large, great location, serene
We got great check-in instructions from the management company, and arrived at a super-clean and well maintained property. They are offering early check-in/late check-out if possible.
The main room is super large, with spacious kitchen, dining area (seats 6), and large lounge/couch area. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of plates/glasses/bowls and everything needed for cooking (unlike many rentals that have only a minimum set of plates).
The master bedroom suite was very large, and the 2nd bedroom has two separate single beds. We noticed a fold-out mattress in the closet.
The best part is the large outside patio/lanai - great views with coast, water, and mountains. It had a big table so we had breakfast on it every morning. The area is very quiet with tons of birds chirping.
Everything was meticulously clean. Floors in main room are tiled and guests are asked to leave shoes outside.
There is along-term renter living downstairs but we never heard anything.
Parking was easy for 1 car - there space for 2 cars, but it may get difficult to maneuver these with the narrow driveway.
The village has a community pool about half a mile away - note that it's closed for renovations since December 15th 2019. The mini-mall about a mile way has a great supermarket and a few restaurants/coffee-shop.
We loved it for our family - especially the lanai, and the great location. It's quick to get into Kona town or the Waikoloa resort area, and easy to drive towards the North or East for exploring the island.

Perfect home away from home in Waikoloa.
Our family loved the location of this quaint home in a quiet neighborhood. The house was centrally located for traveling around the island and a lovely grocery store and gas station just outside the neighborhood. The kitchen and lanai were favorite aspects of the home for our family of four. The kitchen was very well stocked and highly recommended for those that cook while on vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed morning coffee and eating meals outdoors on the lanai. Great choice for those wanting a nice rental that’s not right on the beach, but close enough.

Well stocked and comfortable home
The house is well located (about 15 minutes from the beaches & 10 minute walk to groceries/coffee). It's also very well furnished and has an amazingly well stocked kitchen (every utensil you could possibly need). It's got a lovely view and is comfortable with AC & fans. This stay was perfect for our family, and we'd definitely consider coming back again.
