About this condo rental
'Sea Escape' offers a quiet and relaxing environment to enjoy the beautiful Harbour and Atlantic Sea Views, yet within driving distance to Halifax and the Airport and other attractions. We are situated on the famous Sambro loop, just south of Halifax, which also includes the delightful and stunning Crystal Crescent Beach (only 10 mins away). We are within driving distance to many of Nova Scotia's attractions such as Peggy's Cove, Lunenbourg and many other tourist destinations . Sea Escape is ideal for couples and small families in the recently refurbished upstairs accommodation which offer amazing views of the Harbour and the Atlantic ocean only a few yards away. Come and Relax and Enjoy the new public Wharf only a short stroll away. The area offers many trails and hikes and suites all travelers whatever the reason for your visit. We are usually around if you require any information of assistance but usually leave guests to enjoy the peaceful environment to explore on their own. Please not that we do have cameras on the outside to capture the amazing sunrises overlooking the Harbour and the occasional animal such as Deer, Racoons and Bear that have been seen in the area. Our host was lovely. She provided suggestions that we appreciated. The place was clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen and bedrooms are upstairs which was fine with us, but may not be for some. The kitchen area and fridge are small which posed a bit of a challenge because there were five of us.

Ketch Harbour is a quiet, peaceful community. Dominic and Rachel were wonderful hosts. We were there through hurricane Fiona in 2022 and although we were without power for 2 days, we were well cared for and they made sure all our basic needs were met. The place was exactly as listed.

The property was clean and as advertised and the location was ideal for exploring the south shore or quick trips into Halifax. Dominic and Rachel are gracious hosts who did everything to make our stay memorable. While we were there, they offered suggestions for activities and tips for sight-seeing as well as made sure that we were comfortable. They were quick to respond to any questions prior to the trip as well.

Great place for our family of four adults! Loved the view of the harbor. Limited kitchen but we were able to eat continental breakfasts with the toaster oven and small fridge. Watch the water temp…when it says hot water it means HOT!!!! Hosts were great and responsive!!!

Cozy and welcoming apartment
My 17 year old son and I stayed at the apartment while visiting universities in the Halifax area. It was wonderful to be able to have easy access to the city while also being able to retreat to the amazing beauty of Ketch Cove. The apartment is comfy, has great views and everything you need for a stay. Dominic and Rachael are about the nicest people you will ever meet, and they were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommended.

My friends and I stayed at the Sea Escape 2 over the weekend for a mini-vacation, and we had an amazing experience! The location is perfectly placed in the center of nearby attractions: Crystal Crescent Beach was 10 minutes away in one direction, and Duncan Cove hiking trails were closer to 5 minutes away in the other direction. Halifax is not too far away either, so you are not completely isolated if you need something from the city.
The property itself was very well thought out. The aesthetic and style were very cozy and welcoming, with an amazing oceanfront view to wake up to just outside your window. It truly fits the Sea Escape theme! We were blown away by how much care and attention to detail was put into the place.
Rachael and Dominic are very humble and welcoming. They really put a lot of care and love into the place and into making sure visitors are taken care of with just as much love. We felt at home away from home and we couldn't have asked for a better host!
Thank you for the amazing experience! I will definitely be coming back again for more adventures!
