The house setup is perfect. Everyone enjoyed their room and space. The kitchen and appliances were perfect because we like to cook and sit around and talk at the same time. The dinning room and living room were off the kitchen so that was perfect as well. It snowed everyday we were there and the temperature stayed in the negatives, the house stayed warm with an impressive furnace system.
My family and friends would like to rent the house again during the spring or summer.

While we enjoyed a great stay (15 ppl for Thanksgiving weekend).
Upon arrival (4pm check-in. no early arrival offered) the entire place was NOT very clean. The bathroom floors around baseboards & toilets were pretty dirty and the floors in general seemed broom-cleaned at best.
Guest House doors to deck access were unlocked (one was ajar) upon arrival as were several French doors in the main house.
The refrigerator in the main kitchen froze salads, milk in the door, and all kinds of items no matter where we placed them or how highly we turned the temperature dial.
The Wolf range was AMAZING!! And we appreciated the TP, Paper towel, and cleansers, soaps/shampoos-- we brought our own but they were very handy as backups and did get used.
The kitchen was very well-stocked & offered plenty of pantry space.
Thank you for all the great beach towels perfectly located by the door to the hot tub— we really enjoyed the spa!
We loved the various gathering rooms—puzzles off the kitchen in the breakfast room, football on the TV in the living room, and by bringing in the outdoor table, we sat 15 in the lovely dining room.
Guest house bedrooms were good. We thought the inside master had a queen+twin it did not, so one adult had to sleep on a sofa. Had we known, there was plenty of space for a queen air bed.
There was a very sickly raccoon on the deck and. Vacasa did try to assist, but it was a problem.

This house had plenty of room for our large group. Some were doing crafts while others watched tv and others found a cozy spot to work on a puzzle or read. The bathrooms are nicely updated and we enjoyed the fire pit after dark most evenings.

This property needs some repair and maintenance. Broken/missing blinds, broken screens, broken door locks…. Definitely needs a new cleaning crew. The property is for sale and they have just stopped doing maintenance.
Nicely decorated but there is no “living room” large enough to accommodate large enough to hold more than 6-8 people but advertised house for up to 14. Probably ok if the weather perfect to be outdoors but we had 4 days of rain.

We enjoyed our stay there. There were some issues with the cleaning but the management company made it right. Love the property, would stay there again!

This property was perfect for the size of our family. Everyone had adequate space to spread out. Excellent outdoor facilities including the pickle ball court and basketball. Hot tub was nice for the kids. Very close to the beach which was a short drive. The house was a little dated, and the pictures honestly were generous in terms of the overall appearance. This was likely a top-notch property 20 years ago, but just needs some updates to be a perfect 10.

Tons of bedrooms and close to Warren Dunes State Park

Sapcious for 6 families, enough cutleries and commerical grade appliances are a huge plus. Play area for tennis, pickle ball added more fun to the trip. Bathrooms were neat clean.
Two things disappointed us,
1. Outdoor Grill - doesnt function properly, needs a replacement.
2. Fire alarm - dishwasher steam turns on the fire alarm, made us panic in the middle of night. The following day there were so many false alarms when we cooked in the kitchen, at one point we decided to remove all alarms in the living, basement and kicthen area..

Location, layout for multiple families.

Overall we had a good stay. The location is well situated near the dunes, the multiple en suite bedrooms were great for a multi-family trip. Same with the large yard for kids. Also many areas for gathering/common areas and the two dishwashers and laundry machines is great. There were a few things that could use some work. The pond in the back was essentially a mud pit- we reached out with concerns it was getting so low we would be dealing with dead fish. The oven didn't keep its temperature, the internet was spotty and there is no garbage disposal. The neighbors also expressed concerns that our kids were too noisy - we felt they were pretty standard volume wise for multiple kids running around in the yard. That’s not the property owners responsibility but something I would want to know if bringing kids.

Loved the whole CUTE house, large yard and decks, and proximity to beach! It was perfect to have places to step away for quiet, or gather in a large group. Great kitchen space and natural light all around. Bathrooms with large mirrors and mirrored wet bars in the apartments helped us ladies get ready quickly. Comfy sleepable couches in addition to the many beds! We will definitely be staying here again and recommending!

We stayed here for a week with a group of 13 adults aged 27 to 66. The house is comfortable and clean and the kitchen is set up well for cooking for a crowd. There are washers and dryers on site and two dishwashers. The house is close to the Red Arrow Highway but far enough off the main road that it seems remote. The beach is about two miles away at Warren Dunes State Park, or about 3.5 miles away at a small neighborhood beach that can be located with an internet search. There were some maintenance issues with the house, but Vacasa responded quickly to our concerns. My only real complaint is that the house was listed with VRBO when I made our reservation, and after a change in ownership and transfer to Vacasa, the cost went up by about $600, after I’d been reassured that the new owners would honor my contract. Overall, it’s a nice house close enough to the beach to allow for a fun vacation.

We had an absolute blast staying at Rabbit Run for my friend's bachelorette party. The sleeping arrangements and the amount of space for all of us to hang out in were fantastic! Each room in the guest house had their own bathroom, and a couple had an extra sink. These were great when guests needed to go unwind or get some quiet time. We LOVED having the back porch and all of the chairs to just hang out at night. Once it got buggy, we'd head inside and snack around the large kitchen table, food prep area or TV space. This house is amazing and I highly recommend it for your next group outing. It was a 12-15 minute drive to some of the wineries, New Buffalo, and more. LOVE, love, love.

Great Stay for Large Groups
Rabbit Run worked out great for our group of 14 people. Everyone had plenty of room to sleep and spread out. The house was clean and we loved having outdoor seating as well. The kitchen is beautiful with two dishwashers and plenty of seating between the dining room and stools in the kitchen. The separate suites out in the guest house were really lovely and worked great for sleeping two or three people. The only concern was that the toilet on the main floor of the main house was not working during our stay. As our guests spent most of the time on the main floor (where kitchen, living rooms, dining room are) this caused some inconvenience. I was also disappointed that the price I paid when I originally booked this property through Vrbo was not honored when it was sold. Otherwise, our stay was very enjoyable.

This is a gorgeous property and my adult children told me this was the most relaxing week they’ve had in a long time. There was room enough for us all to spread out (8 adults, 7 kids & 2 dogs) and the large yard gave the grandkids plenty of room to run around. An added bonus was the heron that flew in to the pond each morning.! Would highly recommend staying here.

Pleasant Property!
This property was perfect for myself, mother and 5 adult children and spouses, especially in the midst of a pandemic. The Inn Suites and 3 bedroom home was the perfect size and set up for everyone to have their own space. Large beautiful kitchen was able to accommodate more than a few cooks and the outdoor area was perfect for us to safely social distance yet still have fun. I highly reccomend :)

We loved our stay at Rabbit Run! We are four sisters and our mostly grown children, and there was ample space for all. We loved the private rooms with their own bathrooms. This was great considering Covid. Also a huge plus was all the different sitting and gathering areas. We especially liked hanging out on the deck overlooking the lovely yard. We went to the beach every day and Warren Dunes has many different beach options. And so close! The pictures do not do the property justice, I highly recommend this property. Lastly the owners were so gracious and helpful and made the stay that much better! Thank you!

Fantastic Vacation Home
Rabbit Run is a wonderful place for a family gathering. There are great gathering spaces, a large kitchen, and enough rooms that people can also find places to be by themselves. The yard provides lots of space for the kids to run around and the surrounding woods and bushes create a sense of privacy. We enjoyed the fire pit and sitting on the back deck in the evening. The proximity to Warren Dunes made beach trips very convenient. The owners keep the place in great shape and it was very clean. This is our second year here and we hope for many more.

Our extended family came together to celebrate birthdays and the New Year. Everything in the property is as described. The separate units provide each family with privacy while the main house has ample space to come together. Linda Jo and Randy were available throughout and accommodating. Make sure to read all the fine print as there is a great deal of special instructions and get the insurance for peace of mind.

Great Property for Group Gathering
A group of 14 of us used this property for the weekend. There is plenty of room to hang out as a large group, but also plenty of privacy when splitting off to your own rooms. We were able to fit all 14 of us in the dining room for a nice dinner as well.

Great spot for a big family get-together!
Rabbit Run was perfect for our family gathering. The communal space was big and comfortable for us to hang out and have meals and the bedroom/bathroom layout gave each couple/family plenty of privacy. The property was very tranquil , easy access to Warren Dunes for hikes, and a lot of wildlife spottings on the property itself (muskrats, wild turkeys, fish, frogs, hawks, and deer!)

Nice place for big groups
Had a great stay at Rabbit Run. We really loved the open concept of the main house and the availability of options for gathering and sitting. The inn had all the amenities we needed for cooking. There were a few spots in the house that could've been cleaner but all in all we enjoyed our stay and would return. Thanks Linda Jo and Rodney!

Family Weekend
We had 14 people between the ages of 2 and 84 staying over, and we all had a great time. The common areas were perfect, we had fun feeding the fish and watching the wildlife, and the water pressure was great. It is a little older and has its quirks, like getting the trick to locking the porch doors, but Rodney and Linda Jo were great at communicating any issues ahead of time. Some of the older folks may have trouble on the gravel. A perfect weekend!

Birthday Vacation
We booked this property to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. It is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our group, which included several children. The property is very accommodating for a large group, as there is a sizable main house and then 4 individual guest rooms with their own bathrooms. It was so comfortable and is very well-maintained. It is also conveniently located, but very private. I would love to return again!

Extended family summer vacation
This beautiful property fit our needs perfectly. We have four grown children and their spouses and some of them have young children. The separate rooms and bathrooms of the Inn worked extremely well. Proximity to the Dunes, blueberry picking, and distillery was a definite plus. Our only complaint (and minor) was that the kitchen was a bit limited on dishes and cooking supplies utensils etc. We are foodies and make some elaborate meals and founding the kitchen lacking at times.

70th Birthday Celebration
VERY beautiful home and property. Very beautiful area with so much to do! Linda Jo & Rodney couldn't have been nicer. They helped me with so much with what is happening in the area. They were quick with any communication.
Regarding room sleeping arrangements: There are queen beds for 6 couples . Accomodating 19 people requires sharing rooms. There are couches and an air matress for children and adults to sleep on. We had 15 adults, and we were comfortable.
Very private and easy access for many people in one space. All of the comforts of home were provided.
I would highly recommend this property.
