You'll be in a quiet neighborhood in Blue Jay, just over two miles from Lake Arrowhead Village, where you'll find an array of entertainment and dining options. Set out on hiking trails within walking distance of your rental. Many dining options can be found at Arrowhead Village, just two and a half miles away. In winter, hit the slopes at Snow Valley, within 16 miles, or Bear Mountain or Snow Summit, about 30 miles away. Unwind in the sun-drenched great room on the leather sofas under vaulted ceilings. Enjoy the warm ambience of the wood-burning stone fireplace and watch a movie on the 55-inch TV equipped with a DVD player. A second living room on the lower level features ample seating and another wood-burning fireplace. Challenge your group to a tournament at the pool table, which can convert to a second dining table, play darts or video games, or gather at the Chinese checkers' table. Doors lead to a lower-level deck with a table. The kitchen includes upgrades like a stainless steel gas range and ample counter space with seating. Gather for festive meals at the dining table, and a nearby high-top table makes an excellent spot for coffee. All the bedrooms have 32-inch TVs, and one has a Roku. The primary bedroom features an en suite bathroom with double sinks and a make-up vanity. Adjacent, a loft area has a desk, chess, and spots to sit for quiet moments. Extra perks include complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer. THINGS TO KNOW Quiet hours are 10 pm - 7 am. Access to the home is via a flight of stairs from the parking area. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. My 5yo daughter and I went with two other dads and their kids and the four kids really had fun navigating the three floors sliding down the carpeted stairs and playing with the pool table. Was great to have three full bathrooms so each of the families could enjoy spreading out with a feeling of encroaching on anyone else. Although the amenities were few and a bit “mountain rustic”, we made do with what was there and since our arrivals were staggered we were able to call out things that were missing so those elements could be brought up. Parking was an issue since we had three separate cars and only two parking spots but we were told of a location where we could leave a car in the small town so with some clever arranging we accomplished our daily adventures to the fun winter play spots in big bear. Be prepared for some long waits on the highway to and from Big Bear if your planning to go during peak vacation season!

Listed at a great price but be warned!! This is not a cozy mountain cabin. The owner hasn’t taken care of this property and it shows. From the rat droppings that we found down stairs to the mouse trap upstairs. It is clear that this is just in lake arrowhead to make money. We will not be back to this run down property ever again. Looks like a place where there have been too many party’s and everything is falling apart. DO NOT RENT

We had a great time at our Vacasa Dragon's Lair home. The home was great. Plenty of room for everyone. We had 2 family's Grandparents, son, daughter-in-law with grandkids. Loved it great view, balcony, deck, game room. Something for everyone.
