Situated in East Ridge, this charming house for $257 per night is a great option for your next break. Bragg's retreat was built in 2022. The house is located on the frontline of the Confederate Army in the Battle at Missionary Ridge in 1863. It was Bragg's final command. There is an old cedar fence post in the back yard that symbolizes when there were cattle graze in years gone bye. This 1260 sq. ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath is convenient to downtown, tourist attractions, shopping, and dining. The backyard is fully fenced with the gate on the driveway, for all you dog lovers. (My insurance does not allow Pit bulls, Chows, or Dobermans. They will not cover any mixed breeds with these in them.) The city of Chattanooga is experiencing rapid redevelopment, economic growth, and what some call "gentrification". This means that if you stay in the city, you are likely to be on a street with a wide variety of properties, ranging from very good condition, to fair, to vacant. In addition, there is great racial, cultural, and economic diversity with city residents. I live across the street and love it here, but it may not be for everyone. I want all guests to consider this prior to booking, so no unfavorable review result. The houses across the street from this rental need some love, but the tenants are great people and work and are good family folks. Please do not ask for a late check out. I respect that my cleaners have lives other than just cleaning my rentals. Feel free to stay another day. Thank you!

The house exceeded my expectations! It was very clean. It was stocked better than any house I have ever rented and many special touches! I wish the owner had more properties in other places around the country! I would definitely stay again!

This house was set up wonderfully. Several times we needed something, and immediately found that the owners had provided it already. Really great job anticipating a traveler’s needs! The neighborhood (overall) is in transition, but always felt safe. Was only about 10 minutes to the incline railway, downtown, etc. Checkout instructions were easy; had no problems with the house. Thanks, would stay again!

Even though the neighborhood seemed a bit down, we felt safe and noticed all the new upkeep to many of the homes. We sat outside on the front porch all the time and really enjoyed a relaxing time. Home was well done, clean and had supplies that we needed and used.

We loved our stay at Bragg’s Ridge, it was just what we needed for our vacation! This newly built home is well stocked with everything that you would need!! The personal touches throughout really added to the home’s personality! Tammy came and introduced herself and was so kind and asked if we needed anything to let her know. The check-in process was very simple and we love that we didn’t have to keep up with a key throughout our stay! The home and yard was very well kept and clean! Make sure to say hey to Weezer (the neighborhood cat)

Tammy’s home was fabulous. She has done such a great job of making you feel at home when you stay there. All bedrooms and bathrooms are set up with plenty of towels and linens and pillows. The common spaces have so much to make you comfortable. The amount of ‘ extras’ she has is amazing ! She has truly thought of everyone that may stay there ; from adults to children to pets! Tammy was very quick to respond to all my needs via text and even stopped by to check in to see if we needed anything. ( she also lives on this street a few doors up). My only negative to say was the driveway is quite steep, so pulling into the driveway can be difficult for a low set vehicle.

Everything was wonderful. The home was so CLEAN, cozy and adorable, with each bedroom decorated so beautifully. There are many subtle details in the decor that we definitely appreciated and enjoyed. Everything we needed was provided. Tammy was so sweet and accommodating, and made sure we were well taken care of. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Next time, I won’t plan so many activities so that we can enjoy more time hanging out at the home. Did I mention how CLEAN the home was? LOL. Thank you, Tammy, for everything! We could tell that you are passionate about putting a lot of effort into making sure your guests have a high quality, clean, and comfortable environment during their stay! You’ve set the bar so high that when we plan visits to Chattanooga, we will probably only want to stay in one of YOUR properties!

We stayed at one of Tammy's other properties last year. It was so comfortable and clean that I immediately looked up if we could stay there again. It was already booked, so we ended up in one of her other properties. I've told so many people about Tammy's properties because I think they are the VRBO dream. Clean, well supplied, comfortable furniture and beds, conveniently located... I feel at home. Highly recommend!

This house is a jewel! The pictures doesn’t do it justice! Tammy lives nearby and was a big help with restaurant choices and things to do. Just bring yourself and be ready for a great time! Plenty of towels, washcloths and other supplies you will need. Would definitely stay here again!

I was blown away by this rental! The property was absolutely stunning! Clean, fresh, stylish… my only complaint would be that I didn’t realize there was a grill (it was gorgeous outside and I would have grilled steaks ;) and that I didn’t book it longer! The cottage is close to downtown and Lookout Mountain. I really hope to stay there again and make an annual trip to the beautiful location!

This home was the perfect place for us to stay! It's lovely with great decor, and we had everything we needed: a well-supplied kitchen, lots of towels, comfortable beds and furniture, and even a chess set on the table, which was an added bonus as my family loves playing chess. My son especially loved the daybed on the front porch and we all spent time sitting out there. Tammy came by and introduced herself and she's wonderful. AND my dogs loved all the things to watch and bark at. Great location too! We would definitely stay here again!

The house had plenty of space for myself, my wife, our two boys and my father in law. Access to the interstate was quick and easy. Tammy was very friendly and stopped by before we checked out to introduce herself. I would definitely stay there again!

Tammy did such a fantastic job with this adorable little house. We were in town for a soccer tournament and enjoyed staying at this house. It seemed as if everything in Chattanooga was 3.5 miles from the house, so everything was super easy and convenient to get to. The house was so cute and had everything we needed. The front porch was fantastic for visiting, working, napping, and watching the sun set.

This is an adorable house and fit our needs perfectly! Although not right downtown, it is within a few minutes drive to that area. The host is wonderful! She lives on the same street that this house is on, and is doing a wonderful job of revitalizing the neighborhood with her other VRBO locations on that street. Tammy is great with communication and even came over to welcome us to Chattanooga. We will definitely request one of her houses the next time we visit Chattanooga!
