Spent two nights in this property. Two couples/four adults. Super clean, fresh accommodations. Withing 3-5 min drive from downtown area and many places to have dinner or drink. Bardstown offered several distillery options and put us in a location to visit Lexington, Danville, Louisville, Frankfort and many other distillery options. Very pleased.

Our stay at this property was wonderful! The house was so clean! It was very well outfitted with everything we needed. Plenty of towels and washcloths. The bed was very very comfortable - complete with good bed linens and quality pillows. Communication was easy and expedient. There was a slight maintenance issue that arose but it was handled swiftly! The location near restaurants and bars was wonderful. Bardstown is a wonderful little town. We visited several distilleries in the area and had some great meals too. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and we hope to return again soon!

Having the opportunity to explore what Bardstown has to offer, this location was absolutely PERFECT! It was easy to find, and so close to everything you could walk! The property was awesome, upon entering all of the guests were impressed along with myself! Easy to check-in and check-out, great communication, clean, bright, spacious, perfect to comfortably sleep 6 grown men with ease!

Outstanding property for 5 guys. Comfortable beds, spacious, contemporary styling. We didn’t cook, but huge kitchen and dining area with ample plates and flatware; very nice outdoor area for sitting around and sipping whiskey in a quiet neighborhood; and within minutes walk of central Bardstown. We would definitely stay here again.

We were in Kentucky from California to visit The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Bardstown seemed like a nice place to stay. The town is beautiful and the people friendly. Our stay at Call Me Old Fashioned was perfect. The house was exceptionally clean, beds were comfortable and perfect location to venture out on day trips. Our hosts were quick to respond and meet all our needs. You will not be disappointed with the accommodations or location for a relaxing stay. We would stay here again if we were in the vicinity. We really enjoyed our stay at 'Call Me Old Fashioned'. It's obvious the owners have put a lot of time and effort into renovating and maintaining the home. The location is super convenient to downtown; within walking distance to shops and restaurants (and the best little donut shop in town!). It's also very close to grocery & liquor stores. There is plenty of space inside for just hanging around the kitchen bar/table. The owners provided plenty of towels along with coffee and paper products. The 1st floor bedroom is very spacious with a nice bathroom. The 2nd floor provides plenty of space if you have a larger group staying at the property. We had everything we needed for the perfect get-away. If you're visiting to do a few bourbon tours, this home is very close to Heaven Hill and Jim Beam (highly recommended). Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for opening your home to us!

This is a lovely home with a very modern atmosphere. We enjoyed the big kitchen for breakfast and the family room for holiday football/basketball games. The owners added some super nice holiday touches - lights and garlands - as well as winter warmth with afghans and pillows. The bathrooms are a luxury with "heated" floors. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens. I enjoyed my stay and will recommend to all friends and family who are looking for a place to stay on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.

The home is terrific and in a great location in Bardstown. We had 7 in our group and we had plenty of room. The management was very helpful throughout the process. Highly recommended.

Very easy rental process. Hosts responsive and helpful. Location ideal for walking to town. House layout great. Good beds, beautiful bathrooms with heated floors. Well stocked kitchen.

Everything about this house and community is fabulous! The owners are easy to work with and took great care of us during our stay. I would recommend this house to everyone.

This house was bigger than we expected! Updated with all of the modern amenities like tankless water heater so the five adults and baby could shower without running out. Very comfy new memory foam mattresses, fluffy towels and very cold AC! We did not actually cook but the kitchen was gorgeous and had all of the things for cooking. My adult children loved seeing the fireflies for the first time and a gray fox in the neighbors yard. The neighborhood is cute and safe and only 1 minute driving distance from historic downtown Bardstown. Our host Ben responded quickly when reaching out to him. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you for making our first visit to Kentucky so memorable!

My group of 6 met in Bardstown to attend a concert at Dant Crossing and it was perfect for our group. The location was convenient to the venue and to the very cute downtown area of Bardstown. We all thought the beds were comfortable and the den and kitchen area were great for congregating and playing games in the evenings. We went to Churchill Downs one day and it was about a 45 minute drive so I think this would be a good rental if anyone wants to be close (but not too close) to the action of the race track. We had a few questions along the way and the owners were very responsive. If you're planning a trip to this beautiful part of Kentucky, I can highly recommend staying at this house.
