I loved it ! Clean, modern and trendy! Great location and the manager was so efficient, it was excellent value for money . We had a fabulous breakfast too and could have anything we wanted - all included! I loved the decor !
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like!

What a quirky hotel, with amazing views and a fabulous restaurant
Nothing negative to say about the hotel,, but the only thing that was disappointing ( not much tho) was the fact the bar closed at 9pm but apparently it’s seasonal

Beautiful room, very quiet, comfy bed

Excellent choice and really nice food
just to be picky - a poached egg on top of the smashed avocado would have been awesome

Very comfortable, high spec room. Lovely bed. Great location on the promenade with lots of restaurants near by. Parking a short walk away
Paid parking close by but I would imagine it’s hard to find empty spaces in season.
Manager on duty wasn’t the most helpful person and not very open to feedback about housekeeping efficiency.

Staff lovely, food great and bedroom beautifully decorated.
Wasn’t informed about the construction right outside the hotel. Noisy and dusty. Room too warm, several attempts during the night to turn down failed. No instructions in the room manual. Poor nights sleep. Couldn’t open the window as on the main road and noisy.

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The food in the restaurant in the evening was very good. The breakfast which was included in our room rate was exceptional. We had a vegetarian option which was extremely good both in quality, choice and quantity.
Also we loved that the rooms had a proper kettle and coffee machine with actual cups and saucers and that there was fresh milk in the fridge. The usb phone charger next to the bed was very useful and the rooms were presented so there was plenty space to move around and get ready. Very nicely thought out. It was quite fun to have a real key to the room too rather than those electronic cards that never work.
The bed wasn't very comfortable but that could be personal taste as it was very soft. There also wasn't a safe in the room

Great location close to shops, bars and the beach! Staff were friendly. Room was very clean and modern, including a fridge, which was handy. We would stay here again.
Limited parking (we were lucky and found a space straight away) but it is a busy area so that’s expected. The air con wasn’t the best on a warm day.

The location was perfect, right on the promenade. The room was really lovely, nice touches and really stylish. Young lady who checked us in was super, watched her work really hard all afternoon and evening.
Checking in was a bit clunky.
Arrived 20 mins early with bags but told by a guy that check in was 3pm. Kind of felt we were turned away. This wasn’t a problem just thought the welcome could have nicer. ‘Don’t worry, sit yourselves down, have a drink and we’ll get you checked in soon as we can’

Absolutely lovely hotel room, overlooking Swansea Bay.
Room was spacious, spotlessly clean.
Sliding doors opened onto a small balcony/terrace area.( too wet to use during our stay)
Lovely white linens, big bathsheets.
Comfort big bed. Block out curtains.
Good breakfast downstairs. We also had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant downstairs.
It was a wet day and evening so there was no outside drinkers/socialising or noise to bother us.
Pay and display parking, at a good rate, was very close.
Strongly recommend a vertical grab rail at the end of the bath to assist stepping in/out over bath. For safety and to reduce falls risk.

The hotel is very well located with parking right next door. Room was decorated nicely with everything being new. Really nice bedding. Air conditioned! Lovely roof top patio with a busy vibrant atmosphere
There was not anything to not like

Breakfast poor
No Cereals
Poor choice of bread
NO HOT WATER at 10pm

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given blankets instead of sheets as requested.
The towel rail didn't work, even after one of the cleaners promised to sort it out for us.
The air conditioning was set at 19 degrees and could not be changed, so we had to turn it off which made it rather stuffy.
There weren't enough hooks, rails or drawers to hang wet clothes and put away some clothes, but that is sadly the case with almost every hotel we have ever stayed in. A shame as it wouldn't cost much and would make such a difference!

We loved the furnishings in the room which was gorgeous.
Some of the Staff was amazing, very courteous and couldn't do enough for you.
The location I'd fantastic!
The breakfast (we sat outside) was fabulous!
Check in at the bar wasn't the best. It was a little mad with people running around everywhere whilst we were trying to check in...
No air conditioning working in the room.
The hotel is overpriced for what it is and although the hotel and rooms are lovely, sadly, I don't think this is a boutique hotel. We felt as though we were in the way when we arrived. Not the welcome you'd expect for the price you're paying.

We got the deluxe double with a sea view and the room was gorgeous. The whole room feels very welcoming, with the modern style of a hotel but the feel of a room at home. The bed was incredibly comfy and spacious, we had an espresso machine, complimentary eye masks and ear plugs, and a stunning bathroom with a luxurious bath. The view was beautiful and the black out curtains meant we had a brilliant nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious also, and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
Nothing! No complaints at all, we had a fantastic time and would definitely come back again!

breakfast was quick and tasty
there was nothing to dislike about this hotel, right spot bang in the centre and amazing view first thing in the morning.

The staff, the room was very nicely laid out, linen and and bed were very comfortable.
Restaurant was lovely, great food and great service.
Parking! If you are paying over £200 for a hotel room, you get a bit annoyed when you have to park 300 metres away and pay for parking (only £6). but begs the question why the hotel haven’t just bought some spaces near the hotel and put the £6 on the price?
The hotel/restaurant doesn’t really work, there’s no reception or clear and obvious area, had to queue at the bar to ask for my room.
Also the constant emails before during and after, I have had at least 8 in the 3 days after leaving.

We did not take breakfast at the hotel.
Shelving or draws for clothing
A mirror near an electric point for the hair dryer.

Good location and easy parking nearby. Rooms and restaurant are nicely decorated
The sea view room actually looked onto the upstairs bar. If the terrace is in use there is no privacy to the room whatsoever. The restaurant nextdoor looks straight into the bedroom too. Cleaning standard needs to improve. mattress was sagging on one side

All staff were so friendly. They thought of everything to make you feel at home. My Mum has some mobility issues and the lift was a bonus when we had bags. We had a drink in the bar in the evening and the staff were really friendly, as was the Manager at check in and the breakfast team. They have the personal touch that made us feel really welcome.

Beautiful decor, helpful, helpful staff, especially Margaret!
We didn’t find the food in the evenings very good
9.0
The view, the terrace, bathroom, the food, large comfortable bed, well furnished/decorated room and bar.
There was quite a bit of dust on the top edge of the headboard.
5.0
Room 9 was not clean, dirt and dust across the headboard and carpets, stains on the walls and a burn in the net curtain - aircon motor was very noisy Throughout the nighttime. The bathroom was clean and tidy.
Lack of cleanliness - the bedroom needed to be cleaned properly - this issue was raised with a member of staff who didn’t seem bothered and only offered to pass on our complaint to the cleaning team - not good enough! I would have expected an immediate clean to be offered whilst we were out of the hotel all day or even a room change… perhaps a complimentary bottle of something and a clean room would have helped … not what I expect when paying for what is easily the most expensive hotel accommodation in The Mumbles.
8.0
The staff were super friendly and helpful when we needed some ice (for an injury) and to store our luggage. The room was well designed and the bed was comfortable! Our room overlooked the bar's roof terrace (and the water beyond that), but it wasn't a rowdy crowd and there was no problem with noise.
Oyster House is a bit soulless, but there's nothing really to complain about. It's a essentially a waterfront restaurant and bar that feels like a chain restaurant (something like Bill's, but it isn't) with bedrooms added.

super room, waterfront bar and restaurant. great service, good food.
very little. if you were really picky, a couple of paintwork touch ups.
