Nestled in Flat Rock, this lovely cottage for $187 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Located within minutes of Hendersonville's Historic Main Street, you will also be conveniently located to all Western North Carolina has to offer. Close by are breweries, wineries, unique shops, Dupont State Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, Carl Sandburg Home, Green & French Broad Rivers, Biltmore Estate, along with Brevard and Asheville. This bright and cozy home includes two bedrooms with comfortable beds. The master has a king while the 2nd bedroom has a full for either one or two guests. The kitchen is fully stocked for those that enjoy cooking. A large, fenced back yard is the perfect place for your dogs to play. Food and water bowls are provided for both indoor and outdoor use. There is a side deck with seating and a front porch perfect for morning coffee and watching the sun set. We also know how much pet fees can add up when we can travel with them. Because we do not charge an extra fee for dogs we do have additional pet rules. Pet rules as follows: 1. We accept a maximum of two dogs both of which must be at least one year old and housebroken. 2. We require that your dog is up-to-date on flea and tick treatment. 3. Bring a blanket or pillow your dog is comfortable with as they are not allowed on furniture and beds. 4. Please groom your dog prior to stay, particularly if it is a breed prone to shedding. 5. Bring and use a crate if you plan to leave your dog alone in the home. 6. Dogs are not allowed in bathtub or sinks. 7. Pick up and dispose of all yard waste. Bags and trashcan are supplied. 8. Before checking out, sweep or vacuum any pet hair and dispose of waste in outside trash.

The house was the perfect size for us and the dogs. We were in Hendersonville to visit with friends and family and do a little shopping. Only complaint was there was no cable TV or we could not figure it out because there was no television guide in the book.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed! The yard was great for our two dogs. The property was also close to tons of great restaurants and shops. Also not a far drive from all the hiking we wanted to do! I definitely would recommend this rental!

Just want to say that we LOVED the property. Not birdwatchers really, but there are so many types of birds in the backyard! It’s been the perfect day’s ending, relaxing with a cool drink and listening to the sounds of nature. Our dog, Mabel, has found so many spots to roll in the backyard. The interior is so well done and, most imprortantly, welcoming.

Small, but sweet cottage with great fenced in yard for dogs! We particularly liked that it had cable tv, as in our age range, we like to watch the news and struggle when people have “cut the cord”.

The owner did a wonderful job in anticipating our dogs needs...food and water bowls, treats, rawhide bones, waste bags...very nice touch. House was perfect for a couple with a well stocked kitchen...just a note, there is a Keurig machine so if you prefer another method plan accordingly. Great stay. thank you.

Nice property with fenced yard. Treats for humans and dogs appreciated. Helpful owner. Location is close to parks, downtown and outdoor activities. Would rent again!

The house was extremely clean upon arrival. We had an absolutely great time and would stay here again.. It is a small, 2 bedroom with 1 bath house and absolutely has every kitchen and bathroom supply you need. Perfect for a couple or a couple with 1 child. The location is not conducive to walking to Hendersonville but is a very easy 5 minute drive. As advertised it is very dog friendly and check in was a breeze. The location is on a busy corner with a little bit of car traffic during very quiet at night. We would recommend and definitely stay here again.

Very clean and the perfect size for my husband and I along with my mother and our dog. The dog loved the backyard (including enjoying barking at the neighbor’s dogs, and vice versa.) Highly recommended!

This house is located in a very convenient and quiet, interestingly quirky NC neighborhood. The place was immaculate and abundantly equipped with everything one might need for a few days or much longer. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable. Twisted maple redefines pet friendly with everything your pup needs ready and waiting including a fenced yard, dog treats, and balls to toss. Eric, our host, was incredibly responsive. Great place to stay to see all the area has to offer. We will be back next time we are in the area!

We spent three nights here with our dog Bo. Very comfortable bed and everything we needed. Bo loved the fenced yard and was especially fond of the squeaky ball!

The rental was exactly as described. It had been recently remodeled and was very clean. Pet dishes were included. The fenced in back yard was excellent. Our dog even got to chase a bunny in the back yard. (she was so proud) Fortunately she did not catch it and it did not run into the house. I would highly recommend this property and would stay again if we get the opportunity.

The Twisted Maple was a perfect place for us to spend the week while in town visiting my Mom. Eric has set up a great pet friendly house. There are food and water bowls inside and out, a privacy fence around the back yard provides a great space to run, and an awesome singing dog treat jar in the kitchen.

We enjoyed our time in this cottage. My 14-lb. dog inspected the fence and did not find a way out of the yard. It's a small/cozy house with two gathering spots outside as well. It seems to have been recently renovated and everything was clean and felt new. Sunset view from the front porch. Air conditioning worked fine despite the heat wave and the wifi was reliable. The neighborhood is a classic quirky NC neighborhood that is a short drive to various Hendersonville attractions. We (including the dog) loved "The Park at Flat Rock," which is just a mile away. Thank you to our host for quick responses to questions.
