Hidden gem.

Extremely helpful and kind staff, were able to help order food and provide us with numbers for delivery service, and taxi's. Breakfast was also very delicious, and the view was to die for, definitely recommend the Eden room with the river view.

There breakfast was very good. They had a good shower. Great view

They need to fix the water running from the bathroom. It’s load and doesn’t let you sleep. There fix was just turning it off.

Views For A Lifetime

The view was beyond beautiful and my favorite part of our Ecuador trip, spend that extra little bit for the balcony view because it is super worth it. Breakfast downstairs was also tasty, light and delicious with the most friendly service who always wore a smile on their face. We went with the jacuzzi room suite and even though, we only tried the hot tub once, it does make for a very nice experience and memory to get to do that with mountains and the amazing sounds of nature with the french doors wide open. Brisk and refreshing winds enter our room and I would go again if I ever went to Baños and tell everyone to lodge there 100 percent.

We weren't in the room much but for the small amount that we were and to distract our child or have him doze off a bit, it would be nice to have cable TV that wasn't super grainy. I don't know if it was the mountain ranges that make the signal weak but all of the channels were really hard to see. Not the biggest deal but if that could be fixed then it's another plus to the constructive criticism. I also would give a bit of a notch down for the water temperature in the shower. It was a great shower pressure but the temperature was so finnicky and difficult to manage. One second it would be extremely hot and the other extremely cold. It was very difficult to find a nice range for nice warm water. Always had to play with the shower handle to go from super hot to super cold and that's just a bit annoying to have to deal with those difficulties..fix these little issues up and the place is 100000000% recomennded...for now, it's pretty great at 99% lol.

beautiful property!! loved the river and the birds. it was our anniversary and they had a balloon on the bed for us:)

the only thing that could be better is if they had some snacks/drinks on the property that you could buy as it is a good walk into town.

Nice breakfast, really lovely staff and the location is good if you prefer to trade being right in the middle of town for a quieter spot with fantastic view.

Our first room was covered in ants, including in the bed. We were moved right away to a new room but we left covered head to toe in bites.

Decent breakfast.... scrambled eggs, juice, coffee, fruit etc. Nice scenery from the balcony. Clean and comfortable.

Location is about 30 minutes uphill walk from the town centre.

Alright for a night

Overall, the place is cute, though very dated and coukd desperately do with a rebovation.. The room was spacious, bed comfy and the balcony provides beautiful views towards the canyon and river + there was a hammock on my balcony. WiFi was strong and reliable. Breakfast was included, though honestly not good: a cold toasty, watered down juice and, well, at least the scrambled eggs and fruit were decent.

Not really a negative, more a matter of looking up the location - the hotel is a good half hour walk from the centre and bus terminal, and the neighbourhood doesn't have much to show. Was a little put off by the fact that I would have only been allowed to leave my backpack for 4 hours (= 4pm) after check-out, which (1) didn't work with the timing of my tour and (2) meant I had to spend the afternoon in town walking around with my backpack- no reason was given, just a categorical 'no' to keeping my bag at the reception until 7pm.

The employees went above and beyond when our travel plans were changed and we arrived past midnight. They pleasantly waited for us and maintained good communication. We also appreciated having drinkable water available in our room and extra water available on each floor.

It is a bit further from the town than expected (not within walking distance). However it is a quick and cheap taxi ride ($1.50).

Quiet. Breakfast is nice

Bed had a dip in the middle. Room is very small, it was a struggle to open our suitcases. We couldn't keep them open.

Perfect escape for our Anniversary.

So much to like. We got a great breakfast. The owner and staff were really friendly. Nice view of the river and down the valley from our balcony.

Simply relaxing and amazing.

The breakfast included in the prize was simply delicious. The location with a View of the Pastaza River was breathtaking. The room was very comfortable AND clean. The attention of the personnel was 10/10
