Very dated hotel, not the best area

The room had roaches all over including the bed. The bathroom was nasty no door handle on bathroom door. Mold in ceiling just disgusting. Would not recommend stay however I was refunded fully. Had to go get another hotel room within 15 minutes of making it to room.

Horrible stay away. I got a non smoking room but the whole room smell none but smoke. Wasnt clean, tv no remote, bathroom wasnt clean. Privacy door knob not working.

Ironically I work at a 5 star luxury hotel, why not stay there? Because I’d have to ask permission, followed by questions from every coworker that saw me. I’m the unnecessarily private type SOOO I’d rather stay at a 1 star property in privacy, than be questioned. Ok that said I have an eye for detail. Don’t come here with an eye for detail. Don’t come looking for defects because you will find a long list. From the vanity holding on for dear life to half an inch gap at the front door on the hinge side. Floors look clean but feel sandy. First night here my sinuses & throat felt rough. Bought disinfectant spray & wipes. Sprayed the hell out the room & wiped every surface. It helped. Oh yeah dried piss on the toilet seat. That was a first & I’ve stayed at worst. Mattress is kinda hard but manageable. Overall other than the cleanliness & aesthetics, it’s been comfortable. Like I said don’t come here with a fine tooth comb, if you seek you will find. But it serves it’s purpose. It’s a room, light, ac, microwave, clean water, fridge doesn’t work but they hardly ever do, even at my 5 star property. I feel safe, but I am a male, & even though in a suit & as pretty as I am & though I can hold my own, but nonetheless everyone here seems like they are here for work or traveling through or visiting. The staff is very courteous, 1 star off in service only because there was no do not disturb sign & the cleaning guy scared me out my sleep w/ his loud knocks. Two days in a row.

I checked in on Sunday February 17,2024. The 1st room I was given was ridiculous. The ac & light in the bathroom didn’t work, you sit on the bed it’s a whole when you get up. The microwave & refrigerator was dirty. Went to the desk bc the phone didn’t work in the room. To let the front desk know, he was sending maintenance. He arrived he act like he didn’t know what he was doing. He took him 3 - 4 trips to fixed the bathroom light. He didn’t do anything about the ac at all. I left him in the room to go get cleaning supplies. I come back I can’t get back into my room. Goes back to the front desk, he re program the key & said if it don’t work give him a call. The key didn’t open the door call the front desk he came he couldn’t open the door. I was moved to another room dat room was 100% better the only thing in dat room was the ceiling in the bathroom. I extended my stay I went get my key re program. Upon arrival the front desk doesn’t know his name but he resides at the hotel. He was drunk are high one or the other. He was doing to much it creeped me out. He sat at the desk and went to sleep. Housekeeping was soo awesome!! It turned out to be ok afterwards.

This place was really not bad at all and we stayed for mardi gras. first night we noticed some water damage in the bathroom and after our nap the ceiling caved. the next morning they moved us into a better room with no issues. Enjoy hot showers in the morning. This place isn’t luxury but it accommodated our stay, we felt safe and had no issues with check in or check out. also we did not experience dirty sheets and pillow cases as some reviews said but we did bring our own sheets just in case.

Is a motel the room was not been worked on in some time the staff is friendly but the conditions they have to work are not the best even for them room smell like cigarets and they didn't had sheds to swap the ones my room had it work for what i needed but not my first option to return too hope they can improve cause their area has potential to be better

The sheets were very dirty and the bathroom as well but the worst thing was the service the phone was off the line and I had to call from my phone to make a report and housekeeping didn’t come until it was time for me to leave.

Room heater did not work even after they change me to a different room, so I bought a potable heater from Walmart.
Room had a smell, so I had to get air fresheners.
My room key kept needing to get reset every time I returned, I would be locked out and have to go to the front desk to fix it.
The cost was good but you get what you pay for.
I secured the room with my card but they required for me to pay in cash when I checked in. So, I have to withdraw cash from the ATM in the lobby, which charged me a fee.

The photographs they show are not even close to reality. The room was very dirty and neglected. The mirrors were dirty, the sheets were not recently changed (something quite disgusting). The bathroom does not work well, the extractor does not work, the air conditioning and heating are dirty, do not work and make a lot of noise. Really, just in case you can't find a place elsewhere, book here. I do not recommend at all.

The property is not maintained to even the mimimum hygenic conditions. The rooms smell bad. They have not been cleaned for a while. The doors safety chains are non existent. We could not stand the room even for few minutes. Changed four rooms without any luck. Booked another hotel and moved immediately.

Rooms nasty, checked out early and moved to better hotel. Not recommended. No security devices on room doors. Weekly renters walking around and heavy smell of marijuana. Was given a smoking room and we do not smoke. Room smelled so bad we had to air it out.

Woke up to a man with a clipboard standing over my bed telling my partner that we werent allowed to stay there because we didnt have a reservation. This was after we confirmed our reservation and paid for it the night before. I asked the front desk about it and he obviously was unconcerned with it, was extremely patronizing and offered a BIG discount for the next stay which we never even received. Towels , bathroom, microwave, fridge, and floors were all dirty upon arrival. They knocked on the door 10 minutes before checkout to kick us out. Worst experience of my life.

I did not even get to check in. The front desk person said he did not have a reservation under my name when I went to check in. I immediately contacted hotels.com and tried to cancel my trip but there was some error right at the end and the refund could not be finalized. I had a terrible time and will not be using hotels.com or the red roof inn in the near future unless this is fixed.

Don’t get me wrong for the price through the app I cannot complain, but as a for warning to any future travelers trying to save that few extra bucks let me tell you something.

All cords in the room (Nightstands/ room phone / thankfully our refrigerator worked but a few other people I met along travels said theirs did not so toss a coin)
Room was dirty (Bed sheets had stains , blood? Couldn’t really tell a lot of colors are burgundy, stains on tub, in tub from lord knows what)
The bed was pretty much spring based & we all know how those end up after a few good nights.
I looked under the bed as precaution no signs of bed bugs so a plus but underneath was dirty in Ex. Cigarette butts , some food , trash etc.
The toilet seat was about 1 1/2” - 1 3/4” too small so it didn’t cover the toilet fully & for the fellas you’re gonna wanna hold that tree trunk or it’s gonna do some drinking.
It’s located along side with a seafood restaurant (smell of oysters was unbelievable as piles of old ones thrown in little plastic boxes were over flowing, not to mention first day they did a raw sewage suck up at the manhole right outside our room so mhmmmm reused corn smell)
Again the owner was an amazing guy but from what me & him had discussed he is understaffed & has been with no avail so I cannot hold him fully at fault at the higher ups / District manager should have heard these issues.

This hotel had dirty dingy blankets on bed I immediately took that off and used my own cover on top of the bath towels looking dirty I wouldn’t of dared using them on my body I used one to stand on in the shower. Worst of all they had roaches I counted at least 5 throughout my stay. I was so grossed out towards the end I didn’t even want to take a shower anymore. Just gives a dingy vibe

The room was very very hot we woke to water all over the floor from the air conditioner unit, the tub omg I was not getting in there it was horrible, the tv didn’t work my husband had to plug in some wires in the back of the tv then the remote didn’t work, I have a lot more to complain about but….this really was the worst☹️☹️
