The hotel stay was great. The hotel was near everything we wanted to see.

Great stay for a night. Staff was accommodating.

I booked a king bed room on a high floor so we could enjoy the city view. The room we got was a 5th floor suite with view of alley street and a dumpster. “That’s what was available “. What’s the point of making a reservation ? We didn’t need or want a suite. You would think you’d get the room that was booked! Very disappointing!!

Expensive. Crammed. Nickel and Dime operation. Parking not included with price of room; it was 40 dollars additional. Parking garage poorly maintained. Overall, good location, decent room. Worth about half what I paid. Stay at Embassy Suites

For the almpst $700 I paid for this room I was expecting better quality beds and especially pillows. When we arrived we had to ask for the correct number of towels for our party, the wallpaper was peeling off around the windows, and the ceiling was cracked. The pool was way smaller than the pictures make it look and the amount of chlorine burned our noses. Our room was behind the elevators which sounded like a freight train and squealed right at our floor every time. No one slept good! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with tips for the city which was nice since it was our first time in Philly.

The room was very spacious, clean and had plenty of
The phone in our room didn’t work which ended up being a challenge for ordering food and then again at 12:30am when the alarm went off and we weren’t sure if we should be evacuating or if it was just someone who pulled the alarm.

We had a pleasant time at the hotel. The only issue was the fire alarm which went on for about 10 minutes in the middle of the night. Overall though it was a nice stay.

Perfect stay. Very well located near many points of interest. Many good restaurants and pubs around as well.

First it started with check in. I stood in line for 45 minutes, and only 2 people in front of me and one person working the desk. Got tired of waiting so left check in line to go get lunch and decided to just check in later when they hopefully would have more people helping.
Our bathroom was disgusting with mold in the shower. Very disappointed and would like a refund!!

Hotel needs a refresh and you could hear noise from hallways and room next door

Great hotel, right on Broad street! Walking distance to shows and restaurants, really everything you need. Parking, while not included, was right next to the hotel, and we were able to keep the spot until late on our day of departure. Our spacious upper floor room-a necessity on St. Patrick's Day weekend, was super clean, very quiet for Philly, and had a beautiful view of the city. Everyone we meet from the hotel was friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again.

We were going to see a concert at the Kimmel Center. This hotel was right across the street. We enjoyed the hotel. Everyone likes the room. The restaurant was great and Jerrol our host was great and a good guy. We had to cut visit short after concert. But we will stay here again.

The price didn’t include the $80 in parking we were very clear no housekeeping, when they went in the put dirty pillows that we had purposely put on the floor and went through our things which included medication.

Dresser drawers wouldn't shut. Fan on hvac extremely loud and rattling. Lots of noise from outside even on the 10th floor. Noise from upstairs room. Ran out of shower soap. Elevator slow. No smart TV.

We were welcomed with delicious cookies. The ladies that work the front desk were both very nice and so pleasant to interact with. The room itself was wonderful. Beds were very comfortable, bedding was lovely. The bar area was clean, and the room setup was good. The bathroom counter was nice. There was no vent in the bathroom and the toilet seat and cover needed to be updated as it looks worn out and the seat itself has marks and indentations. They provide Crab and Evelyn shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. The body wash was empty.
We took a swim in the pool. It is small pool, compared to others, 4ft in depth, but it was just the right size for kids to swim and play in.
The fitness center is also small, but a good size and well equipped, four treadmills, two ellipticals, one bike. Two benches, weights, and a cable machine.

Customer Service rep that checked us in was AWESOME. The parking was okay, other guest taking up two spaces which was a pain in the a$$ and rude on the guest part. The pool area was a situation, our key didn't work at first, it was no clean towels (so glad we brought the towels from our room), it was not straighten up (dirty towels and other items were everywhere). Overall the room was very clean and the view was great.

Needed a downtown location and an affordable but not budget hotel, and the DoubleTree fit the bill. We asked for a high floor and enjoyed the amazing views from our room. There was city noise but that was to be expected. Bed was comfy and room was very clean.

We had not one complaint about the hotel. In addition to the clean and well apportioned rooms, there is a bar/restaurant and snack shop in the lobby. A concierge is on duty at all times.

I didn’t like the people coming up to us about additional trips.

They do not offer free parking with the reservation. I was shocked to find I was billed $38.00 for parking I had no knowledge of this charge prior to see my credit card statement after returning home. When I initially questioned the added $50.00 charge I was told it was an incidental charge and would be refunded to the card after the room was cleaned and only got $12.00 back then when I called they said the parking charge was $38.00 and they don’t own the garage. Everything to milk extra money out of people.

Should discount for parking

The front desk employees were always kind. I had 3 separate interactions and every time I was met with kindness and a smile.
My room was definitely not clean. Honestly I wanted to switch rooms. Both the bathroom and room were dirty. Even a simple wipe down would have been an improvement.
The location is the best! Incredibly walkable. Broad st can be LOUD so be prepared for that. But given the right room the view can be great. It wasn’t during this particular stay, but it was a short stay so I didn’t care this trip.
I would stay here again. The employees and location can’t be beat.

Room was not very clean. Toilet had to be serviced twice. Shower water temperature difficult to control.

Perfect and convenient location! Stayed for one night from 1/20-1/21/2024. Try to request an odd number room, if possible, to have a nice view of the city. Great, helpful staff…..from the front desk to bell service! Megan was knowledgeable and pleasant. Breakfast buffet quality could be improved.
Jakob from Hilton was super friendly and professional even, when we told him we were not interested in timeshare. Would stay here again! Keep up the great work☺️

No coffee in the lobby. No vending machines to get water. You will be paying almost $6 for a water in the hotel store. The rooms are dated; carpets, shower curtains. I was approached twice in the lobby with a time share pitch. Would not stay again. Not what I would expect from a Hilton hotel.

Employees tried to sell me some package as I was getting into the elevator. No one wants to be shopped when getting to your hotel.

Great location. We were in town to hear the Philadelphia Symphony perform, and this hotel is located right across from the hotel in the arts district. Parking is convient and the area is full of things to see and places to eat. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Our room grossed me out.
I was there with my family and it was only an overnight stay after attending a concert across the street at Kimmel. I checked in our room and hurried ourselves to get ready for the concert and by the time i realized the brownish water behind the toilet cover and the brownish stain that ran down the side of the toilet, it was already too late to switch room because our 2 young kids have changed and gone to bed. The water was leaking through the ceiling and guess what's directly above the toilet. Another toilet of course. I had no choice but to clean up the yucky water myself because it's already too late for a change of room and no house keeping at 10pm. We have been sitting on the toilet cover that have been splattered with toilet water from the 1 above us! Gross!
There were some brown stains in the white bathtub as well. I hope those are just some rust/hard water stain...
I was contemplating snapping a pic of the toilet but didnt do so because i really want to forget how gross that bathroom was. I'm hoping the management would do something to fix that leak in room 2404. I love the location of the hotel and i love the arts. But if I were to book a room there again, i'll be sure to check the bathroom before settling down.

Out check in at the property was late at night, everything seems ok until you need water, no water available unless you were Hilton diamond member, the rooms were either too hot or too cold the person at the front desk at check out was not helpful at all, note that most food places around this property only opens after 11 am ! The streets had lost of homeless people, garbage and urine smells.

It was a great location and property. A few things to bear in mind though are that you will need to budget for paying for parking. If you use the public garage right next to the property and attach it to the room charge its cheaper. Additionally the breakfast buffet is quite good but a bit pricey at around $25 per person before tip though that is fairly standard for hotels, just dont expect a free breakfast as part of your planning. Beyond that the staff is very professional helpful and friendly and there are both maps and someone available to give information on the city.

Didn’t stay. Mice in the room. Rooms are not properly cleaned which I’m sure is contributing to the mice. Ruined our mini family vacation.

Very good experience! Limited menu from the bistro.
