This is a great hotel built in an era when they really built them with the travelers' comfort in mind (and not cutting costs!). Hotel is very clean, and the room was quite large. The restaurant is fabulous and must-see.

Don’t like the bed pedestal, it sticks out past the mattress. I come home from here with bloody holes on my shins.

This was a great hotel and very comfortable in a quiete location. We used the pool and the jacuzzi. If you need the sauna, switch it on before you use the pool - takes time to warm up.

I have always enjoyed staying at this hotel as we have family that lives nearby. Most important, it is always clean. That is important to me. The beds are comfortable (although you have to watch out not to bang into the baseboards that stick out) and the gym/pool area is clean as I always use these facilities. The shower/toilet is in one area and it is a SUPER small area. My husband is a bigger man and struggles to get in and out. (we laugh about it). The hot water is awesome but you could really scald yourself so be careful. Unfortunately, there were two issues with my recent stay. I recommend NOT getting a room near the elevator. Granted, it was New Years Eve and a lot of people were in and out. I heard the "ding" of the elevator all night and people talking which was near my room. Secondly, there was a DOG that barked late at night and in the early morning which woke me up both times. The dog barked while in the lobby. When I checked out I complained to the desk clerk. She really could care less and offered a simple "sorry". She seemed more interested in tearing down the Christmas decorations. Now that's just my opinion but she did not show much empathy. I will definitely stay there again but will ask for a room far from the elevator.

Our room was so noisy that we couldn't sleep. The walls were so thin (no soundproofing at all), so we could hear the family with crying babies on one side and a dog barking and loud partying on the other side of us, well past midnight. It was very unpleasant.

Frustrating when I called the property to confirm late check-in, “we don’t have a reservation for you.” Spent 10 mins trying to resolve the morning of the stay. Once I arrived on site, it was a great experience.

LISTEN THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL IN NORTHBROOK IL!!!!! VERY DIRTY. THE HOTEL IS VERY DATED AND OLD LOOKING. THE MEXICAN MANAGER AT THE FRONT DESK IS VERY RUDE AND NOT WELCOMING AT ALL! NEEDS A ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT. WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE ANYMORE.STAYED HERE FOR 2 WEEKS ON BUSINESS. THE FOOD AT THE RESTAURANT WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BREAKFAST AND DINNER. POOL AREA IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND DIRTY. THINGS WERE FLOATING AROUND THE POOL. HORRIBLE HOTEL

Expected better/more amenities from a Hilton brand name hotel due to the high daily rate & being located in Northbrook. The freezer in the refrigerator was FROZEN solid, the mini coffee maker was almost impossible to turn on and the vent in the bathroom barely worked. The sauna/hot-tub was a HUGE disappointment. The pulses or vents blew so high, loud & hard you had to shut them off. Within 1 minute the surrounding floor was flooded & the drains couldn’t keep up.

Very helpful, professional and friendly Young woman at the front entrance lobby … Hopefully I remember her name correctly: BROOK. I made mistake on my reservation and Brook patiently helped and was able to fix my mistake without any trouble. Her effort really saved my entire trip and my stay at Hilton that weekend.

Well I'm very upset that when I got here , I asked for a king bed. They gave me a double full size bed which wash extremely uncomfortable.

Bathroom was smaller than a telephone booth. Room was only cleaned one day during our 5 day stay even though we called housekeeping each morning before our daylong departures. Hotel restaurant is very overpriced and understaffed. Very convenient location.

The bed was on a platform, which was covered by a bedsheet. I did not know the platform was there and banged my leg on it. Maid service was inadequate. There is no Covid epidemic now, so there should be daily maid service. The breakfast was expensive and terrible. The hotel wanted to charge me for leaving early, but eventually didn’t since I was leaving early to avoid a storm coming to DC. I had seen nothing that said I would be charged for leaving early. It must have been in the very fine print!

Booked this property for the pool and the on site restaurant, both of which were unavailable, Not notified of this until the cancellation period had lapsed (about three hours before check in got an email notification of these). No refund offered. The room was otherwise satisfactory if dated. Bathroom door opened inward into a very small space so can confirm the prior complaints of inaccessibility. Staff was cordial and helpful if limited in what they could do for us at that point, by policy and not attitude. Would not book again.

We arrived at hotel, contacted expedia chat and person DIBI, late night emergency air conditioning went out. Expedia couldn't contact hotel because phone system was out/ not working at all. Expedia agent and front desk could not communicate at all because of this. Hotel agreed to refund penalty but unable to communicate with expedia. Hotel staff was unhappy with situation and it was a nightmare. We left the hotel. Please see the notes on the conversation on this reservation and please refund our $.

My stay was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My only issues dealt with dated interiors. Everything was extremely clean but very dated, and my toilet in my room did not flush well.
