I booked TWO king rooms one for me and one for my business partner. When we got there, there was only ONE king room available so I ended up taking a queen room. SOME of the staff was rather passive when we asked questions throughout my stay (Most we're very pleasant and helpful). Everything was an upcharge from my stay, the breakfast buffet was $30 a day which is a ripoff. When I stay at Hiltons the breakfast is free, so is the Wifi, which was $10 here. If my company wasn't paying for this trip, I would have been VERY upset at how much it ended up costing. Next time, I'll book Double Tree or some other Hilton property when I travel for work. And I'll make sure that no one else from my company stays here when visiting our San Diego office.

Here for the B.I.G. Salsa San Diego festival and had a fantastic time with Marriott Mission Valley as the host venue!!! I felt safe at all times and that is a big deal for me!

All was good except for the loud noises coming from the heater. Transferred to a different room on same floor and was given an apology gift (Christmas cinnamon cookies). Also, at the breakfast area JC is an excellent waiter. Very attentive and made sure all was good. He spoke English, Spanish and Tagalog and made us feel good. Please give him all the credit such as salary increase or promotion.

Clean hotel at a reasonable price in a very nice area of town. Close to freeways and accessible to downtown. Only complaint is the same one I have on almost anywhere we stay. Put extra tissues and TP in the bathroom. It’s ridiculous to have to have to ask for it.

This is a nice clean hotel. Good for business or a casual stay. Pool area looked fun but had no time. Staff was very nice and helpful. There pay to park situation sucks and is a bit confusing. Some fixtures in the room were needed repair or replacement. Overall, good spot for an overnight stay for work or family.

The hotel lobby was modern and clean. The rooms unfortunately were not as modern and clean. The beds were uncomfortable, the sheets were too starchy and scratchy and the room couldn’t get cool enough.

Mattress had years of indents in it, and the bedding was stiff and hard. (Both need to be replaced.) They charged me for parking even though I had paid for parking through Hotels.com ($15 verses what they charge which is $35, so definitely get the parking before.)

The staff is specially accommodating. Front desk personnel are very courteous and professional. We had a concern re: air-conditioning in our room , the staff promptly address the problem and maintenance is very efficient. We were there for a graduation event , and the facility staff made it very meaningful for us when one of the supervisor/ manager made it possible for my husband to be present in the main room during the event. We will treasure our experience during our stay

Noisy on my floor with kids running up and down the hallway. Didn’t realize that I would have to pay for parking. Restaurant didn’t have many options to choose from. Check options were offered via phone or tv and neither worked.

We were not happy at all. We requested a quiet room in advance and told them to celebrate a retirement. No one said congrats at the check-in, they never even send us a card to the room or even a simple cookie. In addition they put us in a room facing the FREEWAY. We couldn't sleep all night.
