They need to fix their hot tub, otherwise the stay was quite nice

Needed an affordable place in Mitchell, SD to stay for one night. Booked on line, which was convenient and easy. The staff at the motel were very nice and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Only issues to note... 1. The remote control to the TV did not allow me to change the channels. I figured out that the only way to change the channel was by pushing some buttons on the back of the TV until I found the desired channel. But if I wanted to change it again, I had to go to the back of the TV again and push more buttons. 2. There is a heating, cooling unit on the wall. Looks like a regular window AC unit. It worked well, but no matter what temp I set it at, the fan would come on (loudly) and then after a few minutes, shut off. Then a couple more minutes the fan would rev up again...go for a few minutes and then shut off again...the entire night. This pattern was slightly annoying because several times throughout the night, it would would wake me up.

Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was nice.

This hotel is a little hidden nice surprise. Clean, updated, good breakfast, restaurants within walking distance, friendly staff, close to I-90

The Halls smelled something awful it I could not detect what is was. We walked down to check out the pool area and the hot tub was green. We went up and told the person at the front desk we did not want to stay there and we wanted our money back. They told us they would not give us our money back. We had to go find another room at a different hotel and pay for that. We never got a refund.

The property was very clean. Good breakfast.

The air conditioner was very loud so had to turn off then room got stuffy.

Over the door lock was broke

The bed was comfortable, the check-in gal was nice, the hot tub was warm. That being said, you get what you pay for. Room smelled musty, some spots on the bedspreads, air conditioner was a wall unit that didn’t seem very consistent. Nothing extreme to make us leave, but it’s a room you leave your shoes on for as much as possible.

Very uncomfortable. Windows didn’t lock on 1st floor room. No elevator so due to medical equipment, needed bottom floor. Very loud air conditioner. It was a old window unit and did not cool down room. Room smelled bad and was so small. We left after just a few hours because we couldn’t sleep

Friendly staff and great locations

We found the staff friendly and our room very clean as well as the public areas. Our only complaint was our room had a bit of an odor. Almost like stale smoke. I carry a small bottle of Febreeze when traveling. A little of that took care of the problem.

Booked and paid for room prior to arrival at motel through Expedia to find out our reservation was worthless and could not check in due to all rooms booked. Was still charged on credit card for a room I did not get

Managers are helpful and constantly working to keep up property. Safety and security is well managed.
