Clean friendly and very helpful staff. The concierge was so informative and helped us get a scooter rental. The staff all had smiles on their face and very friendly will return again.

It was ok,Nothing special. The bathroom door was broken as well as few other stuff around the room lamps. Mini fridge wasn't cold.

Staff was very nice, got early check in. Great location to universal studios

Bathroom light didn’t work, bathroom door made loud screeching noises, and I found a purse with a taser, change, and pictures of someone in the military in a drawer. Apparently they don’t check everything, which makes me wonder if they even clean rooms.
Thank god I’m an honest person and I turned in the purse at check in station.

We booked for 4 nights but left after 3. No hot water for 2 days and no refund! What in the world? Totally unacceptable. The bathroom door was duct taped and didn’t close properly. Terrible lighting in the room. Awful experience.

You can't beat the distance between the hotel and Universal Studios. Walking briskly, you can get from hotel to front of park in less than 15 minutes.
Understandably, you are paying a premium for the location (on top of that, we paid a $42 self-parking fee per night!) For the price you're paying, the rooms are extremely small, especially with two queen beds. There's barely enough room to maneuver and much harder for families. (We've stayed at this hotel a few times and for some reason, have only been assigned to rooms on 3rd floor and below. However, would assume the upstairs floor are the same.) We use every crook and nanny to store our stuff.
The rooms are clean enough but showing their age. Beds are comfy with good blankets. Pillows aren't the bed but not the worse. We haven't had problems but note that with the 3rd floor being the ground floor, it's extremely noisy. There aren't a lot of amenities onsite. Pool looks decent enough but we never have time to enjoy.
So, we have mixed feelings for the hotel. Definitely stay if you like the convenience of walking to the park and paying the price, but otherwise, a hotel off-campus might be better.

We had a fantastic time staying at the Sheraton! Everyone was really friendly and accomodating. It’s such a short walk to Universal as well which was perfect. Highly recommend.

Our first room was near the pool. Full of kids making a bunch of noise. Then the shower head just dribbled out water and the drain clogged. So asked to move to a new room which they complied immediately. Then the 2nd night tried to eat at the hotel restaurant (California) and no waiter came to our outdoor table after 30 minutes. Wasn't busy either. This Sheridan is wore out cause of all the Universal Studio vacationers. Its best feature is its close proximity to the park.

Our stay was good. What was bad was the valet service. We arrived Sunday (4/1)night (family of 4) and im pregnant. We pull up, one guy comes to the window, asks what our plans are. We ask for bell service. My husband goes in to use the bathroom and i step out to get the kids out. Me knowing i shouldnt lift heavy luggage stare at the 3 guys at the valet desk. All on their phones not asking if we need help. My kids start getting restless, my husband returns and we end up strollering our kids and luggae. None of the workers hold the door open. Horrible inconsiderate workers.

Had a really great 7 night stay at the Sheraton Universal.
Its proximity to the park is perfect. You can walk to City Walk / the park entrance within 10 minutes although it’s a steep uphill on the way there, easier downhill on the way home!
They have a (free) shuttle bus that goes to City Walk every 12-15 minutes.
The Sheraton was clean, the staff were very helpful and professional.
We had breakfast included with our stay and the staff in the restaurant were very welcoming and friendly.
We used this place as a base and also got the Metro (less than a 10 minute walk) to get to the Hollywood Walk of Fame area.
It was a 10 minute Lyft ride ($15) to get to Warner Bros studio tour.
Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

It was great! Hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. Room clean a bit small but cozy. Workout room is one of the best I have seen at a hotel. Shuttle to and from Universal Studios and City Walk a plus after a long day at the park. Breakfast buffet was great.

The location is great. Service at the restaurant was great. However, the house service was horrible. I called them to ask for a blanket and bedsheets Friday night (03/29) for the pull out couch. They said they don't have any blankets for the night. We are a family of 4 and were staying at 1-king, 1 pull-out couch room and need that couch to be set up for the kids. I explained the situation and asked for help. The house service had a massive attitude with me, and said "we don't have blankets. what do you want me to do about it?" I was speechless. I don't think she cared at all and wanted to try to be helpful.

Our lanai was right off the pool! Great access to the back patio of the restaurant as well. Breakfast buffet was good. Dinner was good also. Beds were comfortable but rooms were a bit small. The shuttle to and from the park was awesome after a day of exploring.

Location was great if you’re going to Universal Studios. Service staff was amazing. Room was a little small for the price, but you’re paying for the location on this one. I would stay here again.

Our stay was a one day family trip to Universal Studios. The room was very nice, extremely comfortable, with ample space for the 5 of us. The shuttle to Universal Studios was great! Our only problem was the limited number of outlets available for charging all of our cell phones and other devices.

They didn’t have the room we reserved (2 queen bed) and placed us in a king room with 1 bed and 1 couch that pulls out into a bed. They made it sound. Like this room would sleep 4. 2 adults and 2 grandkids. The couch was more of a love seat and 1 person could sleep on it (was not very comfortable about as hard as the floor) they said they would bring up extra pillows and blankets. They never did so we had to use the sheet for the king bed for the couch one share the pillows from the king bed. The bath room had 3 bath towels and some hand and face towels. Not really enough for 4 people. Requested more towels never got those either. (I did state at check in I wouldn’t need the room cleaned but would think making a request for towels and blankets would supersede that) overall the room would have been nice if it was just me and my wife. Since I booked thru hotels.com they had issues giving me price difference between the 2 rooms (the room reserved was more than the room got) and to make up for the inconvenience of not having the correct room. So overall the service was poor. The room was fine other than the shower. It had so little water pressure had to almost stand against the wall to get yet since the water just came straight down from the shower head didn’t actually spray. This was my third time staying here recently and this was by far my worst experience. Wouldn’t recommend with so many other options close by for the same price or cheaper.

One night stay. Just a quick trip for business. The customer service was excellent. The breakfast food in the buffet could have been warmer. Waiter was helpful. Parking is pricey.

"During my stay at the Sheraton, I experienced exceptional service from Jerry. His attentiveness and professionalism made my stay truly enjoyable. The hotel itself was comfortable and safe, providing a perfect backdrop for a relaxing vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Sheraton again and highly recommend it to others. It truly is an exceptional hotel."

Parking Manager was extremely rude and disrespect to the bus driver and myself during our stay. I called the hotel to file a complaint and left a voicemail message and never received a call back. Even checking in was a problem . The bus driver was trying to check in when I had already reserved the hotel for that specific date and they mentioned it was reserved under another date. I have email to prove that was wrong. Overall customer service was terrible. We will never be staying there again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Customer service should be a number one priority always.

The mini-fridge can be colder. And I noticed trash in my jr suite when I arrived. I really loved the room and the view. Gorgeous. Can’t wait to come back again.

We loved it.
The hotel is beautiful but aging.
Needs a good maintenance crew to keep it looking 100%

We visited to go to Universal Studios. Great location as it is just a short walk (uphill). The most amazing thing about the Sheraton hotel was the very kind people. The restaurant staff was particularly kind. Overall great service

Staff were good, but mixed in terms of individuals. One concierge was friendly and helpful whilst another was abrupt and unapproachable. Staff in gift shop were rude. Restaurant staff.. fantastic!

I was surprised to see $40 charge per night plus tax to park. The shower is poorly designed, water kept leaking all over the bathroom. And the permanent mat in the shower was uncomfortable on the foot soles. Last, we stayed during a rain storm and our carpet was soaking wet throughout the whole room. Aside from this the room was clean, housekeeping was awesome, and the shuttle to Universal was convenient.

Rooms feel tight for a family with young kids but they are nice. Property is great, staff is wonderful.
Can’t beat the location.
I would definitely stay here again and again.

Location is great for going to Universal and City Walk. The only complaint I have is the room we got seemed misleading in the pictures and description. We had the family king room which was supposed to have a king and a pull out couch with a total occupancy of 4. It would be an exaggeration to call the “couch” a love seat. The only way two people could sleep on it is if they were both toddlers. I called down to the front desk and explained that 2 people couldn’t sleep on it and requested to switch to a double queen room but they were sold out. Thankfully our trip was short and we made it work with an uncomfortable sleeping situation.
