I had to basically DOWNGRADE from my KING bed to a queen … just cause I said I needed a service room due to having my dog with me.

Room and bathroom are smaller in this location than other locations I've visited. Cleaning crew were very quiet in the hallways, which was wonderful.

It was great! My favorite hotel to stay!

I paid for a Water View room. The room did have a water view, but was not the same as the picture on the website. Hilton Says that is Hotels.com problem not theirs. I'll be in touch and I believe I was over charged for that room.

The hotel was clean and had everything we needed as expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue was the parking lot, you will have to pay extra and per night. So this is not included in the stay and is unfortunately an add-on feature when you check in. The hotel itself is near many businesses including shopping and restaurants as well as public transit options if you do not have a car. It’s in a convenient spot which is great. Overall was a pleasant stay with this Hilton location.

I enjoyed my stay at Emeryville Hilton Garden hotel. My room overlooked the Bay and was quite comfortable. My only complaint is that upon requesting a room cleaning they failed to vacuum the floor and sweet and mop the bathroom.
Sincerely,
Debra Murray

Amazing room, food for breakfast nice waiting area...

Place was plenty clean. Don't order door dash and expect it to come to your door. They make the doordashers leave it on the ground by the front doors of the lobby and they also don't let you know this.
When I went to check out, the front desk person informed me that a total of (9) vehicles were broken into in the hotel parking lot over night, so keep that in mind.

The hotel was clean and neat and the rooms very comfortable! The desk staff were very helpful and housekeeping staff, the servers and hosts were very friendly and at their best at all times. The only problem was that the parking lot was small and not secure. Our vehicle and several others were vandalized on one night. This is just a symptom of the problems in Oakland as a whole. Paying for parking in an unsecured lot is not logical as one can park on the street and get the same results.

My car was broken into and my belongings were stolen. Was visiting the area for a track and field competition and they stoled all my son’ equipment. The hotel charges for parking and says they have a security guard and 24 hr surveillance. The worst stay I’ve ever had in my life

The room itself was great clean stocked up with all the things we needed. The lobby area was mostly clean with a few things we noticed like a beer and water can left in the lobby from the first evening until we left. The trash outside was overflowing and the parking lot was in need to f cleaning.

We stayed here for two nights to use up Hotels.com points that were expiring at the end of the year and I hated to lose them. This place is about 8 miles from our home. It was the two weekdays leading up to New Years. The place was empty.
My beef is that they charged us $25 a day to park in an almost empty parking lot! If it hadn't been raining so hard I would have taken more photos. They charge more for parking than anyone else in Emeryville, even though they are on the other side of the freeway from all the stores and attractions of Emeryville.
I can understand charging for parking if there is a major event going on that everyone coming there needs to park, and is not there to spend the night, i.e.: a wedding, conference, etc. But when the majority of the hotel is vacant and there is no one but the few guests staying there, they should show some grace and not charge us $25 a night to park in the empty parking lot.
Other than the exorbitant parking fees, I would highly recommend this hotel. Clean, comfortable and a nice area to visit.

Chose this hotel for it's location being walking distance to Trader Vic's. Boardwalk to the restaurant so we didn't have to walk along a busy road was a plus. Free breakfast was very good. Parking is not included and that was a surprise, but I suppose it shouldn't have been.

Nice room, once we got the room changed. The first room smelled of a recent smoker. Very nice bathroom and shower.

Felt safe, I recommend bay view room (you can see SFO downtown). Friendly staff, only thing is that you have to pay ~$20 for breakfast if you want to dine in.

I had no issues. I got to the hotel about 30 minutes early and my room was ready. It was a quiet night. The breakfast was good. The restaurant food was good too. No complaints.

The Bayview suite is overpriced and in need of repairs and refurbishing. Complementary breakfast would be appropriate for the price that is charged for this room. The breakfast buffet was disappointing, only one person, working the whole dining room, and a long delay for certain foods that would run out immediately, and due to the short staff no one to clean up the mess that is created by customers near the food. I will definitely not be staying at this hotel again.

I enjoyed everything about my stay here, the rooms were very clean, check in was very easy and quick, the staff were all very kind and professional, and cool. And the location was by the water so I had a great view with a lot of places to eat and things to do in the are. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Had a really great stay at the Hotel Petaluma. Great room, fantastic location, really cute place with a ton of atmosphere. Great little bakery right off the lobby.
Street parking can be a little bit challenging, but, you can navigate it all right. Right downtown so very walkable. Highly recommended.

Very close to the Sutter Health office where I had to attend a work meeting.
