Card charged twice. Card was charged by Hotels.com and again by IHG Holiday. IHG says it's a glitch and that they cannot fix it. Unacceptable!

Just a low key stay. Hanging out w friends in Akron needed a place to stay. Nice location, clean and nice hotel. Perfect for a short stay.

It was ok I booked there because it said they had a spa hot tub but sadly they don’t and also they need to fix their drain pipes because the tube was stopped up the whole day

Nice clean hotel. Weekend breakfast was limited on Sunday morning for som reason.

At check-in I was told that since my card couldn't swipe due to a damaged magnetic strip, I would have to provide a different card. They said they could not key the card in, nor could they use the chip. That is unacceptable for any business these days. Surprisingly then, when I told them I didn't have another card to use, they found a way to key the card in.
Also, the blackout shade in our room was stuck in the down position. We had to stand on a chair and affect a basic repair in order for it to work properly.
Finally, the breakfast service was woefully understaffed....no pancakes, had to wait on omelettes, no hard-boiled eggs.
Would not recommend this property to anyone.

Even though it’s a busy area, it was very quiet. Close to Blossom Music Center which was why we stayed at this location. Summit Mall is across the street and there are many restaurants around

Refurbished very nice. My bathroom door was kinda Grundy and scrapped up. The bathroom ceiling had paint chips falling off. Half of the channels including sports channels on Sunday could not be tuned in.

Our check-in experience wasn’t great but the room was nice and was as pictured in the app. Check-in time is 4pm and we arrived at 4:47 only to be told our room was not yet ready. The only explanation was they needed to contact the maintenance supervisor and due to our room having two beds, it was not ready yet. I have no idea what that means or what was really going on but there were several other guests that had the same problem. The hotel staff was not very welcoming or friendly. I have had way better customer service at other hotels. I would consider using this hotel again but i would hesitate for sure based on this experience.

The bathroom wasnt very clean. The tub was slick as well as the bathroom floor. Both of us nearly slipped multiple times. The woman st the desk when we checked in was amazing. I think her name was Daniele. She is a super employee.

Overall nice room, comfortable stay. The pool was OK, not as clean as the rest of the property, no towels available for use. The breakfast was on the lower end of what you would expect from the hotel such as this. They were out of several things, including fruit, juices, and other staples.

Chris checked us in and was a great host! Property seems new/recently renovated, but does have minor wear and tear issues in the bathroom.

The staff was beyond incredible! They were so kind and friendly. Some of them even had me laughing. I really felt like family there. They were very clean as well. They fixed our toilet which was broke when I got there but again, when we came back it was fixed. The only issue I had was the door. It wouldn’t shut easy. I had to use a little force to shut and open it. But honestly, everything else was incredible. I would have no problem staying there again in the future.

moldy shower curtain, dirty grout around toilet and in bathtub, ice machines broken on two floors. Rewards member, stay in Holiday Inn express all the time. This one may as well have been a motel 6. Needs remodeling.

The hotel was nice, and appeared updated. It was an easy drive to Blossom Music Center, and the staff were nice. The breakfast was good as well with decent options.
