Needed a place to stay close to local office to save myself a very early, long morning commute from the Cleveland area. I've stayed in Dublin before, love the area and got a great rate.

I was sent to a queen room when i reserved a king so i went back to the desk. The manager took care of it but did not even apologize. I found that slightly rude.

Room was very clean. Front staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room was quiet as we had to get up at 330am the next morning. Will stay again when in this area

Spring break trip to NC and stayed at this hotel for one night. The lobby looks really nice. Everything looked good until we went down to the bar to get a mixed drink. We ordered a bloody Mary and while stirring it, a white, creamy looking flesh like glob appeared in the drink. It was disgusting. We asked the bar tender and he just said that he didn't know what it was. Gave us a quick sorry and tossed out the drink. He wasn't sincere or seemed genuinely apologetic. Wished we would have taken a picture of what was in the drink. After that, we didn't want another drink and left. Very disappointed by the service.
On top of that, the TV wasn't working. It turns on and looks fine for the first 5 minutes but after that, the screen becomes distorted and/or and freezes. The audio continues but you can't see the show. This stay is definitely on the list of worst hotel experience ever. Would and will not go back.

We visited the Columbus area to celebrate my son’s 4th birthday. This hotel was so beautiful. The aesthetics, customer service was outstanding, hotel was very clean and the list goes on. If we ever visit the area again we will definitely book again!

Dislikes: I was speaking to the person at the front desk and she walked away from me twice as I was mid-sentence(s). I was not complaining or anything, simply asking two general questions so I was a bit put-off by that, very noisy as the walls are thin and there was a youth hockey group or the like staying so there was late night stomping and yelling above us.
Likes: Cookies were amazing and a nice touch, bar in the hotel served food which was a nice convenience as we arrived in the evening, clean

I usually utilize this property when I travel to Columbus for business. They are usually pretty okay and I have no issues. However after my last stay, I may not be visiting here again. I had to move rooms because the cleanliness of the first room I received was poor. I pulled the covers back from the bed and uncovered a medium sized ball of hairs. I'm not sure how anyone made the bed and did not see this as they were making it. The pillows were dirty and stained as well. I moved into another room after that and that room had a stink bug in it. I am truly disappointed with Doubletree and i wont be staying at this location again.

Nobody was at the reception when we arrived and we had to wait for 5 minutes to check in. The property is clean and nice but it seemed understaffed.

Hotel had no hot water upon arrival, I requested a crib & they said they were all out. Finally at 11 pm the power in my room went out & wasn't restored until the following morning, while I had my 11 year old, 4 year old & 13 month old with me. Asked to switch rooms & was told the hotel was at capacity.

The hotel was very clean. The room was clean and quiet. A great bathroom and a huge tv very easy to use. I would definitely recommend it

When we arrived we were informed they had no hot water so we could not shower. Also, before arrival I had 2 rooms and tried to cancel one but they wouldn't let me because of their policy, which is fine, but one of my parties had a medical emergency and was in the hospital. I would think they could have made an exception for that but they didn't want to. One of the rooms did end up getting canceled but it was because of the water situation.

Anything nice I would say is negated by the fact that we were awaken at 6am by a fire alarm in the hallway. It went off for at least 20 minutes. I called the front desk & was assured it was a false alarm. Just when I finally fell back asleep the fire alarm in our room went off at 7am. Once again called the front desk & could barely hear, but was told false alarm. We didn’t check in until 10 pm & had to drive 8 hrs today. It was unacceptable to experience this. My son & I just got up at 7:15, got dressed and left while the alarm was still on. When we stepped on the elevator it shut off. I did not receive an apology or any type of courtesy discount etc. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!

Good facility overall, staff was great, but there are no microwaves in the rooms, and the Internet was very slow even with their Wi-Fi.

The breakfast bar was not worth the cost of $17 per person. It reminded me of free breakfasts offered by other hotels I’ve stayed at. The fruit was not fresh, the eggs tasted like they were reconstituted from a powder. Ordinary small muffins.
