Location of hotel is good.
Hotel room is average.
Could be better.

Lovely stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, which had blockout blinds and no traffic noise (level 3). The only constructive criticism was that whilst clean, the residual cleaning product smell was quite strong - we did leave our windows open to try and air out the room. Would stay again.

Very happy with everything from the moment we checked in until our checkout, room was very clean and comfortable, will certainly stay there again

Have stayed here a few times. Booked what I thought was our normal type of room. Ended up in the smallest room I've stayed in here. Was perfectly comfortable. Window faced onto plant and equipment, so was very noisy at nightime. Apart from that, room was comfy and clean.
Location is excellent.

Only issue was noisy fridge. I could have just turned it off but didn’t.

The hotels location is supergood but it needs a good cleanthrough but it was good for just an overnight stay in Melbs

Great location for going to Melb international Comedy Festival events and to see the shows on within the Victoria. Love the quiet, comfy calm of the mezzanine where you can rest up, regroup, have a drink or a cuppa . So nice. The Victoria is always consistent and comfortable and calm

Stayed at the Victoria Hotel a few times. Never had any major issues. Location is great for getting around and the price is generally reasonable. No doubt will stay here again in the future.

Great location extremely close too where we need to do things! Room was clean and basic. The First Lady at the reception was quite rude and blunt upon first arrival but apart from that the other staff were great and helpful.

After having to find alternative accommodation The Victoria Hotel was a welcome change from where we had just left. The price was very expensive for one night but it was a big weekend in Melbourne. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly.

Great location, friendly staff and comfortable room. Our only issue was condensation dripping from the ceiling in the shower which was annoying . As we were only staying one night we reported it to the front desk upon leaving

Charming hotel. Great Central location to transport, food etc. staff were great. Would have loved a bigger pool. Restaurant was great for our breakfast and dinner. 5 stars. Will definitely stay here again.

The first night there was loud music in the streets until about midnight. I mentioned it to the front desk and did not hear it again the following four nights.

Great location. Comfortable clean room. Friendly staff who assisted with making sure I had a quiet room. Hotel is a bit of a maze and sadly I didn't get to check out the pool. Parking is available but quite costly.

Loved the convenient location and it felt like a safe area with my daughter. Vics bar had a lovely ambience as did the dining and coffee area
Our room was clean however there was very little natural light giving the room a dark and dingy feel. Both windows looked onto walls and my bed was in a corner where I could not see the TV properly.
Staff were overall very helpful and friendly however upon arriving the person who checked me who was also very pleasant but seemed very unaware of any of my questions about Melbourne. I asked if there were any leaflets I could read and he replied to "google it". I later found a whole wall next to reception with brochures and leaflets. He also directed me to level 1 and my room was actually on level 2 when I looked at the key cards. During my stay I asked for a new hairdryer as my one in the room was overheating with fire sparks. I had to ask 3 times before I got the new hair dryer. Overall I would come back here but would try for a nicer room with a better view and natural light

We found the location perfect for our needs, the room and facilities were better than expected. And a nice surprise to come back to a serviced room, which doesn’t happen much nowadays. We will definitely book to stay again as we are regular visitors to Melbourne.

The hotel presented beautifully but the beds were really hard and we were on level 2 and it was noisy both inside and outside the hotel. The room was full black out which was great, but the noise made it difficult to sleep in. We may have just been unlucky though.

Well located, however, very noisy airconditioning and street noise…..

Liked the property very much except the room was tiny. We are traveling for 2 months and it was difficult to store our two suitecases (moderate sized) while we were in the room. Otherwise very clean, staff courteous and the breakfast buffet was excellent! Of note, if you think you may wish to eat from the buffet, book it in advance. Book ahead price was $22 and at the door was $32.

A pleasant hotel in a fabulous location. Breakfast is excellent but remember to book it before midnight the night before for a lesser charge.

the location of the hotel is great if you need to be near NGV or Rod Laver Arena. while the room was clean, the bed was a bit too soft and therefore uncomfortable.

Super happy with The Victoria Hotel Melbourne. I had a great room in The West Wing, which was super quiet. Worked out really well all round for me.

Fantastic locations, allowed early checking in and great reception staff. Pool indoors and a little on small side, I had envisaged relaxing around it!

Very nice Hotel within the free Tram Zone. Strongly recommended!

Basic facilities but clean, close to shops and dining, easy 15 min walk to the tennis. Good value.

Great central spot if you are going to the Regent. Pity their bar closes at 10.00pm when the theatre finishes though. Missing out on us patrons who stayed there for the the theatre.

I disliked the tiny room that had the queen bed pushed against a wall. It was a challenge for an elderly couple.

The hotel is perfectly located in the CBD and has everything you need. The rooms are quite small, but if you plan to spend most of the day outside of the hotel, then you will not mind.

Excellent location. Beautiful foyer. Very clean rooms just lost one star for leaving a hallway mess for 24hrs. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Air con noisy but worked well. Would stay again!

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We added the buffet breakfast and it was incredible and very affordable. It was a great location as well - we were able to spend 2 days without needing our car.
