Disgusting. Rust on lamps. Broken wood on furniture. Broken shower head. Woke up to bites on arms, leg, face, and lower back after sleeping in one of their double beds on 3rd floor. Never staying there again.

Room ok. Property dated. But well maintained. Staff very good at check in and outgoing. Facility a little tough to get to on service road. Don’t arrive late at dark. Can be confusing and difficult to navigate.

The staff was excellent. They were very friendly. My hotel room was clean,but the tub can get upgraded. Its a little old. Other then that it was a great stay

Everything was great except the air conditioner and the bathroom. The a/c added humidity to the room so paper and cloth seemed damp. The extractor fan in the bath did not work so there was mildew on the ceiling and in caulking. It was also in the dressing area. The bath had been refurbished by someone who evidently was unskilled. Not good value for the cost or the brand.

The condition of this Fairfield Inn is not up to par for the Marriott brand. It is very humid in the hotel and the rooms. The carpet feels sticky and the rooms need updating desperately. I was checked in by someone who charged me for 2 rooms even though I had already paid for the 2 reservations. And then a few hours later - they gave my 2 rooms to someone else - and they opened the door to our room while we were still in it

The property has deteriorated in the last few years with no obvious upgrades nor repairs. The room was decently clean, but the property is way overpriced for what the building looks like inside. Jokes in walls covered by wallpaper, elevator stands a chance of shutting down between floors with an awful noise upon completion…needs to be serviced and/or repaired, and carpet in hallways needs to be shampooed..desperately. Staff doesn’t give you the Marion welcome as they’re almost upset that you showed. Needs help!

This Fairfield was old and updated. The elevator made weird noises and my key card would not work. I had to get a new key each night that I stayed there. My shower was not clean and it was a lot of dust behind the nightstand and the floor was sticky like it had not been vacuumed. The breakfast options were nice though.

The room smelled like mildew as soon as we walked in. No more than 3 minutes after walking in the front desk calls for a noise complaint, we literally were just walking in the door and getting our stuff settled. The shower curtain was broken, there were black hairs on the toilet and the air conditioner barely worked. We had to sleep on top of the comforter because the sheets were damp, the volume to the tv didn’t work. I normally don’t post reviews but I chose this hotel because there were a good bit of good reviews so I’m posting to warn everyone else about it. They definitely need an update. The carpets for sure need to go.

The desk chair was broken, the bathroom had mold on the ceiling and under the soap dish in the tub, the tub was so dirty I didn’t use it. The door hinges in the bathroom were very rusty. The plastic shower curtain was dirty. Entry light didn’t work. Mattresses were old with four inch foam on top. Couldn’t adjust the temperature controls, lamps were rusty, frames on pictures were rusty. Opened the shade and the painting was all patchwork and very terribly done. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn’t work. The sink didn’t drain correctly. This was the second room we were given. The first room the TV didn’t work, the lamp didn’t work and the desk chair was broken. The rooms looked as though they had severe water damage. The topper was when I opened the shade in the morning I look out and the is a homeless man sleeping below our window. We were on the 2nd floor. The entry was like others I had stayed in and the food area was nice also. The employees were nice. The food was fine. When we were loading up our car to leave the homeless man came from the back and stood close to us. I went in and notified the front desk. I could tell the carpets in the halls had been replaced and the walls in the hallway had been repapered. If this had been the first time I had stayed in a Fairfield Inn I never would have stayed in another. I am still unsure if I will stay in one in the future. The hotel needs to be inspected and you need to see if you want your name on such a hotel. Truly disappointed.

First room had a strong smell of marijuana in it and we had my baby and pregnant fiancé with me. We had to request another room as soon as we arrived. The room was ok but had stains on the ceiling in the room and bathroom. Other than that it was ok for the money spent. Will more than likely stay elsewhere if we stay in Hattiesburg again though.

This is an old hotel and it shows. My wife and I have stayed at multiple Fairfield Inns and were very surprised at the condition of this one. It needs some tender loving care and updating. Don't think you're going to get full off the breakfast. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

The front desk clerk was excellent in re-locating us to a different room after we found the TV and fridge didn't work. Place needs much updating - windows, carpet, bathroom - dingy.

I couldn't hear noises from outside the room. Actually, I couldn't hear anything when my sister was in the shower, and she said she didn't hear me. The breakfast was sufficient. It would be nice if turkey or beef sausage was served for non-pork eaters. The wi-fi was terrible!!!
