The last time I stayed at the St. Regis Beijing was 19 years ago. The hotel is still in very good shape, although showing its "wear" in places. That being said, service is excellent and offerings plentiful. The location can't be beat and I would still consider it a "grande dame" of Beijing hotels.

The butlers at the hotel prepared a cake and decorations in our room for our anniversary. The staff were very nice. The pool and the hot tubs were great. The breakfast was the best I have had in Beijing.

Perfect service, not easy to have a 5* service in China but they really work hard to give you the best and feel like at home.
Details like one free cloth iron per day or free mask in the room is the reason why choose them again.
The only negative thing is that in the breakfast they make you sign a bill with the cost of the meal even you have it included in your room fee. They said is for accountant between hotel and breakfast restaurant, but that shouldn't affect the customer.

This property is aging, condition showing signs of wear and tear, dark inside, carpeting, shower inside a tub versus separate stall, tight room space, heating difficult to control in room and in meeting room. Overrated.

The facilities are kind of old and room design is not up to standards, in terms of space optimisation. Improvement needed!

It was a good experience overall. However, the butler service is not as warmth as St Regis in BKK that we normally stayed. But I will still go back there considered its location, condition and facilities of hotel

Quick stop in Beijing on our way to the Great Wall. Fabulous hotel. Reasonably priced. Very good service. Excellent breakfast buffet.

The staff and service were fantastic. Check in was very efficient; I arrived several hours before check in time and they gave me a great room early. The concierge team was very helpful in setting up private guides & drivers for sightseeing. The location was very convenient. Would definitely stay here again when returning to Beijing.

Nobody speaks English. Ordering sparkling water or a nail kit takes forever. Getting old.

Very good service and beautiful hotel. I was disappointed they didn't seem to have a local Bloody Mary recipe.

The staff tries their best to make you feel at home and please you. The hotel itself needs a renovation. The couches are dirty with stains and not to mention the carpet have huge wet stains in the main dining area. The staff in the dining area need more training in how to serve. Neil at concierge made up for the stay. His professionalism and care go above and beyond.

The location of the hotel is great and in a quieter street. I had stayed at this hotel 3years ago and enjoyed it so much wanted to stay there again. However, the hotel hadn’t updated itself and looks very worn out. The butler service might as well be non-existent, they really don’t speak English. The service isn’t typical St. Regis, I have stayed at many throughout the world. The food at Daniel’s is still good though. For about the same price I am staying at Park Hyatt, a world of difference.

Lovely amenities. Loved the hot springs soaking tubs in the spa! Our room was a tad disappointing. Nice enough, but older and not a shout out for a five star hotel. Couldn't afford bufet breakfast (USD$45!) for my daughter and me, so we ate at the Starbucks across the street.

Good brand but hotel is slightly old and dated. Lots more choices for this price. The area around hotel was quiet and dead. Not much happening. Service was as expected of a international 5 star property. Nothing to complain, but also nothing to shout about!

Nice hotel, friendly & helpful staff, 5 mins walk to subway, big swimming pool, free food & drinks during happy hour but our ensuite needed a little bit of renovoting (ceiling & lights weren't up to standard for a 5 star hotel).

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the St. Regis Beijing. The hotel was centrally located and easy to find. Every member of the staff I encountered was excellent as well! Whether I had a question, asked for help with something, a recommendation, or needed something in my room, I had immediate, satisfactory responses.

The lobby, pool, terrace and other common areas are fantastic. Staff is of the same caliber of excellence as you would expect from the brand. The upstairs hallways and actual rooms are a bit dated (e.g. Carpets are last decade and the bedsider radio charging station is for an iPhone 4 without a USB port). The 4 Seasons is undeniably a better hotel but you'd have to be a miserable person to find anything less than peace and gratitude at the St Regis.

This hotel has outstanding facilities and has a small garden for walking. It is nice to have w bit of green after spending so much time in the city. I highly recommend the St. Regis, especially if you have spent a lot of time in Beijing and are looking for a western repose.
