The room was surprisingly quiet for being so close to freeways. There was always some party going on in the hotel, but I was blissfully unaware in my room. The lady had computer trouble checking us in and so I was charged twice for the room. I also asked the front desk for towels, but they were never delivered. The conditioner was empty and when I asked housekeeping to refill it, they mistakenly brought us more lotion which I didn’t notice till I tried using it. The staff was very friendly and very generous with the cookies. The design of the elevators definitely leaves something to be desired - they are really far apart. They charge for parking, which is fine but kinda ridiculous considering the amount of open space all around the hotel.

From my room You could hear everything from the hall way, in between the walls, and a loud cranking noice allllll day and night coming from the elevator

Staff placed us in a room right above where a wedding was taking place til midnight. Told us 10pm we could pack up our entire room and switch rooms and offered no help. We checked out early from our stay and left. Horrible customer service and acted annoyed that we were upset.

The property was great and on brand in all except one area. For those who are traveling in groups, take note that it is not listed in the property details (at least not that I was able to find, but certain staff insisted that we eat and drink anything we brought in our rooms. We were traveling with youth sports and were using this time to bond and ended up having our kids eat their pizza in the parking lot. Otherwise, this place was lovely and on brand.

we had a nightmare was staying in this hotel , water was dripping and machine was cracking, they had 3 times of alarm testing, they did the alarm testing in 7:30am, my husband got very pissed off, we had no sleep at all.

Visiting our kids & grandkids in Irvine, this was the perfect location, 10 minutes away. Breakfast was really great, good coffee, omelette station, & every side cooked to perfection. Oatmeal & toppings, fresh berries, excellent bacon! Worth it to include breakfast with the comfortable room.

We got the free breakfast and the milk for our coffee was expired and made us very sick and the hotel staff even told us about it after we drinked it.

W wanted someplace that was near the Irvine Spectrum. It is, but not as close as I would have liked. That’s my fault. I found the staff to be responsive, cordial, and helpful. The property overall is good. There were a few things that didn’t work. The TV remote buttons didn’t all work. Staff got us a replacement in a timely manner. The phone was down just for a little while, but I texted the front desk and they put our room service order in for us. The make up mirror lamp didn’t work. The electrical outlet worked when using the hair dryer. I don’t usually use one, so I just didn’t use it. The pillows are stiff but might be good for some people. My husband and I enjoyed our weekend getaway.

TL;DR; Too much noise, poor quality bedding. Long version: Room by the elevator was noisy. You could hear the elevator move up and down all night. The blanket and comforter were too thin and not warm enough. It was like having two sheets.

This was walking distance to the very nice mall to the south. This Hotel was a bit less expense than the other hotels in the area. This hotel had some of the most top-notch food you can get. I had a world class soup that was close to perfection, and a steak that would rival the best high end steak houses. The two people I encountered at reception were really friendly.

Stayed the weekend and it was a good place. Centrally located and easy access to freeways and shoping/dining. Only down side was the cost for parking on site. A bit pricey.

Easy check in ,Staff friendly and you get these incredible delicious cookies! Restaurant within Hotel was very good! We had several friends & family members stay at the Hilton Double Tree Hotel for a family event. I would give it a 10 rating.

Nice location, convenient to shopping and restaurants without being on top of them. Great central place to stay. Staff was friendly and the rooms were cleaned daily which was a huge surprise, frankly. Ample, safe parking. Would stay here again, easily.

DoubleTree was a great place to stay for the Zac Brown Concert we attended. They even provided FREE shuttle service to and from Five Point Amphitheater. They had a restaurant to eat at and also FREE buffet breakfast in the morning. Would defiantly stay again.
