This was our second time staying with you. I liked the convenience of the location, and considering it's close to the freeway, it's very quiet. I like the convient stores/truckers stop so close by. Our room lòoked out at the freeway but if you just walk around the building there are awesome sunsets. At check in Cheyenne was very friendly. The room was well kept and just enough room fot 2. Two things I didn't appreciate was the towel sisuation. Our second day we missed house keeping so I called and asked for 4 adult sers of towels. We tend to take 2 showers a day. Cheyenne told me they could only give out max 3 and I had to bring in the dirty ones to trade for clea ones. I thought that rule was very uncomadating for a hotel. Second one was I asked for a 12 noon check out. The maid service was at my door before 12 than jamed me up and came back two more times in 10 minutes. I had to load up by my self and got so nervous, the suitcase fell on my foot and bruised it bad. I was out by 12:15 and it would have been noon, if they didn't jam me up. Now I get to go home with a bruised foot and it hurts to walk. That's the end of my story. Thank You, Karen Kaye

The exterior of the hotel is very nice looking. The rooms are pretty fair and clean for a Motel 6. The sink had a wide counter which we liked very much, the toilet was a very new water saving tall one which was good for my back. It could use some repairs in various place in the room, but was an incredibly well priced rental and very much worth it. We would definitely stay here again. The only problem was that the hotel female check-in clerk was not at all friendly, never smiled or greeted, just curtly took care of the check-in as if she hated her job.

Arrived, Motel 6, Barstow Stayed 3-13-24 to 3-14-24 Decent enough for a bargain price. Don’t expect a lot of amenities that more expensive hotels have though. This is a motel after all, offering the basics, which is fine for the price. NOTE: if you like Black Bear Diner, be sure to look for it directly across the street once you’re at traffic signal, after you leave the motel area. Great service and good food. If you’ve never been there, beware, the portions are HUGE! And the biscuits are practically the size of a small cake! One breakfast plate is definitely shareable. PROS - When I first got here, I thought there was urine drops on the toilet seat. Called the front office and they sent House Cleaning up right away. Turns out it was just part of the cleaning solution that the cleaner did not notice. - Clean king-sized bed with the mattress completely enclosed in a zippered mattress protector, and then another mattress protector (like a fitted sheet) on top of that. - Checked for bedbugs, all clear. - Microwave oven - Mini refrigerator - Standard TV - Luggage rack CONS - No electrical outlets by the bed - Long bathroom vanity, however, only one sink instead of two. - noisy heater/AC combo - No Kleenex - no ironing board/iron - Teeny tiny bars of soap (so less waste) - very near freeway, noisy traffic, at least my room was.

I have to say this was the cleanest, nicest Motel 6 I have ever stayed in! I wish all of them were this good! My only complaint would be the fridge rattled a bit (room 105)...it was a little distracting and I thought it might keep me awake but it didn't.

This place was very clean, quite, easy to find, walking distance to food places and the lady at the front desk checking in and checking out was very nice. I'll choose to again on my next business or personal trip. Thank you.

Staff was great, room for the most part was clean (bathroom was surface clean but baseboards have not been cleaned in a bit). You can hear everything from rain drops, people talking next door, and dogs barking. Biggest annoyance was they have sheet metal like frames around the beds and we were constantly hitting them (literally no way not to hit them when getting on or off the bed) and they were so loud when you did. We could hear the neighbors hitting theirs (we did laugh at first but then it was constant and not good when others were sleeping) and I don't see the point to them. It was a great price and only one night. Best part no bugs (you know the 2 main bugs in referring to).

I’ve stayed at many Motel 6’s. This was not unlike many others; standard amenities and everything was in working order. I’ve actually never had a bad Motel 6 stay. This one was very clean.

Good clean rooms ! Nice cable. Close to Freddy’s Steakburgers and McDonald’s with the Pilot Truckstop next door! Plenty of big rig parking and large recreational vehicles!

We stopped by early in the morning before check-in to say we wanted a ground floor. When we came back 7 hours later at 6 PM we were told we did have a ground floor but it was not quite ready. After a couple of phone calls the room was ready and when we entered it had a strong smell of deodorant/cleaning smell. When my kids took off their shoes and went barefoot on the floor that was not carpet they quickly got dirty and when they jumped on the beds while watching TV some of that dirt transferred. We had to wipe their feet with baby wipes before going to bed. The room was quiet from freeway noise but the fan in the AC needed to be turned off because of the noise.

Good location, appears to be a newer motel 6. A little more detail to cleaning could be addressed. On top bathtub shower wall ledge hadn’t been wiped in quite some time.
