Only thing to complain about was. Booked oceanfront room for four. Spent day on the beach, went back to room to shower up before dinner. 2 bath towels. No hand towels,no wash clothes, 4 people. Tryed calling front desk several times,no answer.
Is this normal here?

Check in needs work...for a resort...shouldn't be standing in line for 20 minutes..this is 2024...update your system...
Staff was wonderful!

The best mini vacation was very peaceful had the best time with my family from drinks to food and service was to die for.

Not sure if it was because we had never stayed there or was suspicious of the price, but this turned out to be great. Crowded, for sure, but we had a great time.

The hotel was beautiful. The only downside was the pool and beach access closed at sunset which was 6 pm

The resort itself is beautiful but we had issues with our stay and won’t be returning. The phone in our room didn’t work so we had to go 27 floors down to the front desk since they didn’t pick up the main line calling on our cell phones. The fridge in our room wasn’t cold. We had lunch by the pool and dinner at their steakhouse, both were not good. We had to leave the hotel for good food. We didn’t use any of the resort fee amenities and still were charged a hefty $45 fee per day for this. The hotel really could use an adults only pool. Every hot tub and area of the pool had kids in it. Adults in their 30s and 40s feel weird getting into a hot tub with someone else’s kids who aren’t being watched. By noon there wasn’t a pool chair with out a towel already on it and we discovered they sell resort say pass tickets so people can use their pool who aren’t staying there, this option was almost sold out on that site.

Yellow rush water out of bath, stained carpets galore, black mold in shower, mattress was worse than a futon pad…where do I stop. This place is tired and wildly takes advantage of the fabulous location and legacy of the Diplomat. They’ve jacked all prices, removed all prior complimentary items/services, and are clearly not putting capital back into the resort. It’s being run to the ground with only cash flow in mind. Maximize revenue and not reinvest a dime. Bottled waters are $9 in the room and the tap water is cloudy yellow and no water offered to fill bottles on the floor. A 12oz can of beer is $12 downstairs. Great location, but man are they gouging at every turn possible. Just be aware, new ownership is being ultra aggressive to push revenue.

Popcorn on floor of room, big stains on carpets on all 3 of our rooms, not a good feeling walking in to that. Never heard a vacuum on our floor entire stay. Glasses didn’t look clean enough to drink from-that’s for sure. Disappointing

Disappointed doesn’t begin to describe this waste of money. Planned a special occasion for a 30th birthday. Arrived only to check in and go to the room and be surprised that the king bed room was now 2 double beds! Wasn’t even given a heads up. I was blatantly told that the hotel PURPOSELY over books the hotel. There is an up charge on any and everything. I’ll never stay here again or recommend this to someone if I want them to actually enjoy themselves.

- No water for over 12 hours, -Water bottle was not provided (Ran out) - Washrooms and showers not working. - Rude staff not helping in this situation. - Even told if we use water bottles in the room they would charge 9 dollar for wach.

Parking was easy valet is 55 with taxes and self parking is 10 dollars less so i decided to valet. Yiu also get charged a deposit of 200 its a hold you will get it back. The facility was super clean access to the beach and the pools super easy. I got the ocean front room omg so worth it slept with the door open to hear the ocean. Really recommend for a nice get away with your significant other.

Great place to stay .. wonderful view

The view is great! The not having room service beyond 10 PM! Is ridiculous! And unheard of completely for a resort of this alleged caliber. When I pay $500 a night there should be room service at minimum until 2AM. Never have I stayed at a resort when room service is done at 10. Here’s the kicker…. So are ALL the restaurants. This will likely be my last stay at a Hilton resort. How the mighty have fallen. Hilton has fallen.

U got ripped off by Expedia by $100 a day.
The hotel price was much cheaper than what Expedia charged me. Also, there were a number of ants behind the table and fridge area.

We liked our stay there
The thing we did NOT like is the “leisure taxes” that we were charged as we were checking out ( although I paid for my stay online , before arriving there)
Since we stayed there for 6 days , this tax added up to 600$
They should mention this on the website while you’re booking the stay

Joe the concierge was very helpful and caring! He went above and beyond!
Ronald the server at the pool was wonderful as well!
