Dont ever stay at Motel 6 but was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, very clean room, comfy bed and great price.

The location is so convenient to restaurants and stores. There was a mini fridge as well as air conditioning. It's small and simple, but nice!

This hotel is in a very nice location. You can walk to restaurants, grocery shopping and even a theater. It's next to the freeway yet we didn't hear any noise at our location -- maybe those in back would feel differently. There is a laundry, vending machines and a nice-looking pool. Our only concern was the cleaning of the rooms and access by staff. Twice we had staff try to enter without knocking (had the 'latch' on thankfully). We were there for three nights and the first full day, there was no attempt to clean our room -- which was fine. The second full day, the cleaning people arrived but we were still getting ready and it was apparent they didn't want to come back. Thus, we just took clean towels and let it go. No biggie, but just an observation.

Zero sound proofing in our room. Partying college students on second floor up all night. No sleep. Sounded like slamming on floor all night long.

The room was clean and had all the items needed for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. I could have used an extra pillow, but there were 2 for the double bed.

We had the room next to the laundry so it was quite noisy. And the door had big opening where all the light came in, so I had to use a blanket to cover it. Stuff was friendly and helpful.

Stay was easy and convenient. Love the dog friendly policy. Room had a smell, but it was light so not too bad. Would stay again!

Everything was well except the front desk employee. No greeting when walked in, she almost didn’t say anything except verifying me. Maybe a little more customer friendly?.

Very convenient location to dining or shopping, The room was clean, the staff was friendly. But the setting of the room we had was not convenient! The bath tub, toilet and basin, all are together. It could be used only by one person each time.The space is too small. No any TV channel was available .

Family and I decided to do a last minute family weekend trip. We chose to stay for two nights in order to visit Solvang and Santa Barbara. Our stay was terrible! The beds were uncomfortable and we decided to not use the heater due to the filter being completely dirty. We did not want out toddler and baby breathing in all that nasty air. Unfortunately we had to leave our trip one day early due to family emergency. We canceled our second night stay and were hoping to get a refund or at least a partial refund. I understand that check out is at 11, but being stuck at Solvang for while due to a parade we ended up checking out at 1pm. Two hours after checkout and due to a family emergency the manager couldn’t have the heart to at least approve a partial refund! We’re definitely not planning to stay at that same Motel 6 ever again.

You do hear people on the top floor at all different hours.....but I had to be on the bottom floor... the room (#106) was great.....double beds....very clean.....huge TV with good sound...2 HBO channels...located in back next to the pool so basically quiet cuz of the cooler weather.....there are no 'do not disturb' tags so i made my own as i was there for a week and wanted quiet time......they were great....i left my used towels outside the door and my trash can which were taken super fast and the front desk people are all so kind and helpful providing me fresh towels etc.....i stay here everytime i come visit the area....reasonable but yes a lot higher than years before.... Will stay again for sure.

the young people at the front desk have been so caring and helpful. We are two old folks traveling and are not technically inclined and the guy in the morning assisted in extending our stay and the girl the night before was great at recommending places to eat and also explaining what I needed to do the next morning to extend stay with the office.... The room is so very-very clean.......beds firm but comfy, the only complaint I have is that the toilets are very-very low to the ground, which is hard for partially handicapped people... this was in room 106 that I'm referring to. But everything else is fantastic..... I have stayed here over the years when I come to Goleta and it seems even better now.

The lady that checked us in was friendly and helped us get a room that accommodated our needs well. We are seniors in age-and we’re going to the airport at 4:00am today. The room was very clean and we appreciated the floor surface- felt cleaner than any carpet!!!

The manager asked us first or second floor. We said first. He put us in a room facing the back side of the motel, next to our immediate neighbor/shared wall with a dog. The neighbor left the dog until 3 am. The do barked, whimpered and cried throughout the night non-stop. The beds seemed very worn and I did not feel safe even with my husband with me.

This is a perfect location to stay while visiting someone at ucsb. It’s clean, convenient, comfortable, and has perfect shopping nearby.

Staff wouldn’t accommodate for accessibility, rooms were dirty and full of other peoples and animal hair, cat litter and who knows what else! There were construction crews smoking weed and cigarettes outside of the “non-smoking” rooms. Other business near it had noisy generators and so on. Wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

There was no water supply at all when I woke up! No word from management about this, no apology, no communication regarding this huge inconvenience. Very poor customer service and regard for the well-being of their guests.
