The worst hotel of the century.. all you see on the site pictures is not what you get. The building is Very old,the Capet is very dirty that I couldn’t even use my socks to walk on it. How is this a 5 star I do not know. No satellites Chanel in the room. The only good thing is that I didn’t spend more than one night.

Hotel is not a real 5 stars. It's falling into pieces in some rooms. But still, it's comfortable. The quality of the service is below what one could expect. Nevertheless, the location is good and the price acceptable.

Good hotel for the price, great service, comfy beds but the rooms are a bit dark, couple of cover shops outside, there is a newsagent across the road next to Aliena coffee shop, gets comes and waters from there as they are very expensive in the hotel

Sad old hotel in need of a revamp. The positive include good location close to the train station. The staff were fine and the room was only ok. The negatives include very poor AC in the room that really didn't work to any degree that was satisfactory. As well the breakfast was terrible , too expensive, very little variety and very little flavor

The hotel is a decent location. Not far from the train station and close to the streets with all the restaurants and shops.
For a 5 stars, the hotel seems old and not well maintained. Nevertheless, the staff is friendly and helpful. The only really bad point was the SPA: the staff there don't speak neither English, French or Spanish. And they are not always very professional. The Wifi is also a inconvenience as it's not work always correctly

Front Office staff was great, also the bellboy and voiturier. But Housekeeping was horrible they entered the room without knocking. Also th call center hang up the phone, very impolite.

Standard American-style hotel located in ville nouvelle so a taxi ride from the Medina. Front desk staff were very helpful. Bar staff needed some training. Don't bother with the breakfast. Try the café across the street for better coffee and pastries.

The biggest problem of this place is that security are advised not to allow guests to bring food and drink to the room. Signs claim this is due to food safety issues but I doubt Morocco or Fes is such a dirty place that this is necessary. It rather sounds like they make up for the bargain prices by getting the lost revenue in through the back door.
For any average hotel I would rate the place excellent and recommendable, but if they want to be a 5 star place they need to give the 5 star treatment, and they definitely fail there. Staff are friendly and mostly helpful, but they could do better. They seemed to be pretty disinterested unless it was about making money: Everything I asked directions for was just 'right at the petrol station' and nobody tried to make sure I knew where I was going. Maybe they were too busy keeping an eye on guests, making sure nobody would bring up drinks...
Before bookng I read a review from a fellow traveller about this. So I did email the Ramada inquiring if this was true. The Hotel did not have the courtesy to reply. Eventually the price dropped to silly levels (making it viable to stay there and buy all food/drinks from them) so I booked anyways.
Another thing was making phonecalls. I tried to ask what they charge, I was only told that calls are charged by impulses. After making the actual call it was way more expensive than estimated by the receptionist...

Its not 5 star. Rooms are dirty, facilities are old, bar selling fake alcohol (beware if you would like to have a nice whiskey, does not matter what you order, you will be given Red Label anyway), rude staff.

Nearly a month stay at Fes- what a Great City! This Hotel is very roomy, comfortable and is located just a mile from the Train station. The room service and door staff are very friendly and when you ask for towels or an ironing board, you get it within a couple of hours.
The downsides are:
1- Second hand smoke coming to the rooms all through the night. Not easy to have a Window open for too long in December. Even though I stayed on the 6th floor, which is non-smoking floor, plenty of cigarette smoke made its way. Not sure if it was coming from the 5th floor level or from 1st through the 5th floor. Blocking the door bottom opening with a towel helped a bit. The Hotel should fix their HVAC system.
2- Loud music noise throughout the night-every night. Not sure why this has not been fixed after many other guests reported the same thing. There is a club on the premises that has very loud music all night.
3- No in-house Microwave or coffee maker. This should be a simple fix, soon I hope.
4- The ladies at checkout were not as professional as the men. Don't they realize we are possible repeat clients later on?

Hotel is well located and the rooms and beds are very comfortable and clean. It is consistent with what you would expect from a Ramada. Staff was nice and helpful. The downside is that the hotel has several restaurants with live music that was extremely loud and made sleeping impossible until it finally stopped well after midnight both nights we were there. Also, made the terrible mistake of getting a pedicure at the "spa" which was terrible and very unsanitary.

We were arriving late in Fes and wanted to stay at a place where a taxi could take you to the front door - in contrast to the maze in the medina.
The hotel room was large, comfortable and clean and a touch of luxury!
We stayed on level 6 which is a non-smoking floor, however we were still disturbed by smoke.
They have a disco in the basement, very late in the evening we rang to find out when the boom boom boom would stop.......apparently it is 4am. I find it surprising that a hotel chain of this caliber is willing to jeopardise the sleep of its guests for a night club, particularly when we are on the top floor, I can't imagine what it would have been like on the lower floors

Found the hotel modern, clean and the bedroom was a good size, the staff were very helpful, when the television didn't work in the room we were moved immediately, good internet coverage, live music and a good restaurant.

Located in quiet area which is good. However the facilities in the room are run down.

The hotel is convenient to the railway station and an easy 30 min stroll to the medina (take the left fork at McDonald's).
Restaurants near the hotel are sparse apart from expensive hotel restaurants, pizza and hamburger joints.
Chicken Mac, as mentioned in Lonely Planet, was the best we could find.
The thumping bass from the disco music downstairs until 3.30 am reaching our 5th floor room was annoying but I am a light sleeper. My wife had no such problems.
The room was very clean and the bathroom modern. The king size bed was superb.
4 euros city tax per person per night is fine if it reaches those who most need it. 24 euros for three nights was a surprise 'hit'.

considering 5star and it's brand value, price was relatively reasonable but food and service wasn't that good.

Was better than expected and way above the so-called Ramada stateside hotels standards.

We were very Happy at the Ramada. Would we stay again yes. You need get a taxi or a good 45 mins walk to medina. its only a couple of pound by taxi . Swimming pool ok not so big . We went out for breakfast which was only a few pound . Had room only . We were overlooking the main rd 5 floor. Got woke up 4am by woman shouting and bit of drama , otherwise good. We would go back to this hotel . Reception staff helpful .

Great hotel and amazing quality. Language not an issue at all and very secure.

Even though the price we paid on the Hotel.com website stated it is inclusive of rate and taxes, we were still charged a local tourism rate by the hotel in FES. we were charged 258 Dirhams per room extra (£20).

Lets put it straight. 5 stars in Morocco is no more than 3 stars in US. It is a fact. So if you go in with that expectation you'll be fine.
I stayed at a few hotels and riads while in Morocco and this one was more or less OK. Yet, property is worn, stains in many places on carpets, walls and bed headboard. Bar on the lower level is for locals - lots of smoke (looks like everyone smokes Morocco), loud and there are quite a few ugly working girls. Bar upstairs is better, more for tourists.
Restaurant food is bland and expensive (when you compare it to other restaurants outside of hotel).
But again, by no means it's a not a 5 star hotel by American standards.
