Was pleasantly surprised with everything, considering the low price. Would stay there again, definitely.

Great service. Room was clean. Staff very attentive and pleasant.

We have stayed in many hotels in the upper-middle-class segment, but for this trip chose the Days Inn. We were not missing much, while we were saving a bundle.
The room offered everything that a more-expensive hotel offers too: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron board, TV with 100+ channels, free Wi-Fi, etc., etc. The hotel offers free parking and free breakfast. (Hotels at twice the price often charge you extra for those!). The hotel has a pool as well.
We stayed in two rooms, and both were perfectly clean.
Important to me, a light sleeper: no dogs allowed (another plus over many other hotels).
The staff in this hotel was very friendly and helpful.
So..., where can one notice that it's a budget hotel? (1) The building is a behind on maintenance; (2) carpets and furniture are not new; (3) the free breakfast did not offer OJ the days we were there. Those did not matter much to us.

Longest check in I've ever experienced. Had paid for a King room, none available. There was no blanket on the bed, just a sheet and a sheet like bed spread. Eating off styrofoam is unpleasant and non eco friendly. No recycling containers anywhere.

Room was ok. Quiet, as I literally was the only guest. The tub drained very slowly and the washcloths were dirty. Advertised free breakfast, there was none. First the clerk tried to tell me it was too early (7:30am), then mumbled about delivery issues. Did not appreciate being blatantly lied to.

The staff was very nice, and house keeping did a good job cleaning. The property is run down: holes in the bathroom walls where the old shower curtain mounts were pulled out, stained chair in the room, leaky toilet that partially refilled itself every ten minutes.
The breakfast was a waffle maker, cereal, toast and sausage. It was OK if you can make due. The coffee was not good.
The location was great and the grounds were in good condition.

Smelled not clean

The location was inviting, and the staff was friendly. However, despite the advertised breakfast, visitors should not rely on this during your visit. "Breakfast" consisted of coffee and slices of bread for toast. The juice machine was "Out of Order" and nothing was made available.

The facility was dated and needs some serious attention, also it was off season so that is when the owner needs to be busy fixing issues!

The hotel is outdated. The room smelled musty and not clean. The WiFi didn't work. Would not stay again. Almost left the property and didn't stay because of the condition.

Hotel has a great location for going to the wildlife area. Staff was very friendly and our room was clean and had a nice smell to it. I suggest continental breakfast include more healthy options including more fruit options and non sugary cereals like plain oat meal.

Our l room reeked of pine cleaner. The room was badly in need of a major renovation. The bathroom was sadly old and falling apart. The caulk around the perimeter of the bathroom was incomplete. The front of the sink vanity was lopsided and was falling at on side. Everything in the room felt wet. Sitting on the chair it felt wet and the bed felt the same way. The plugs on the table and desk didn’t work. This was not a quality inn standard. We didn’t complain since there were not a lot of rooms available. The air conditioner worked well and the two staff people we met were very nice. We will not be going back again and will not stay at Quality inn.

This hotel is plain Jane and is over priced for its condition.Rooms very small, but clean. Would not recommend unless you are on a budget. But then, most hotels here are pricey for an area with quite limited activities outside nature stuff. Breakfast bare bones.

We came and there were no towels in our room . Breakfast consists of stale cereal and only waffles as a choice. No fruit or muffins.
The carpet was very sandy under our feet and sticky.

Our stay was ok. Customer service is fantastic but our room had some issue like the bathroom had no exhaust and door doesn't lock. The bathroom had smell since there is no exhaust. And you can smell the cigarette smoke in our even though its a bon smoking room. The person who’s putting the breakfast was using her hands with out any gloves.

Since the pandemic I have the habit to disinfect anything my toddler and son touches. Our room is very dusty, fridge is rusty and moldy in the fridge, phone is sticky and dusty… I have no energy to complaint and ruin our weekend. We Live Chincoteague so I cleaned our room instead. They gave me a room with a big whole in the tub so they ended up moving my family across the room. Front desk workers are friendly, breakfast is OK, major cleanliness needs to done,

Dining, its the same loby place.

The Desk clerk when we got there was great. But the sink in our room was plugged, The set up for handicapped people was absurd. Parking is in the back of the hotel but the ramp was in the front. The pool wasn't just for hotel guests, but for the community. And it was a little hard to find the hotel from the street.

The strong smell of mildew and lack of fresh air due to the sealed window in the room gave us headaches over night. The condescending night manager blamed us when the electronic key card had to be recharged each time we returned to our room. The refund policy was not made clear when we checked in. The person who checked us in was wearing the uniform of another company and told us he was helping out on his break from his job at that company. Several towels were actually threadbare.
The housekeepers were pleasant and did their best.

I never submit reviews but this one is due. I booked last minute so I got what I paid for. I get that. Staff was friendly but no housekeeping, no clean towels. TV didn’t work. I went to call the front desk but the phone didn’t work either. There were no blankets on the bed, only a sheet and a duvet cover without a comforter. There were no blankets in the dresser. The AC only kept humidity at a breathable level when set at 60. Without blankets, that made for a cold sleep. Room keys had to be reset at least once a day for some reason. The building needs maintenance for sure. It was clean when we arrived, which is most important to me.

Room never got cleaned due to under staffing. Very roudy, noisy neighbors. If you don't care about cleanliness and you need a place to party, this is your place.

Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Room smelled a bit like mildew but we did enjoy our stay. Close to the beach!

Inn was clean and comfortable though, a little worn for the price. I had a single Queen on the 2nd floor walk up. Mattress was excellent. No shower curtain the 1st night! the Inn could use a vending machine for soda and water and an outdoor shower/spray for beach sand. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Coffee and morning waffles were great!

Entering and exiting can be a bit tricky if multiple vehicles are trying to park and enter the parking lot

Good price for this area - typical outdated stuff but all clean and comfy.

I am so dissapointed with this place and now have to fight with them and contact my bank because I was fraudulently charged $114.75. They were supposed to call the next day, did not. I left another message for a call back and have to wait until tomorrow.
The moron at the front desk thought I was in a different room and if they messed up the reservation... I got charged someone else's incidentals.

When we got there the room was dirty. It looked like someone was just in there. It smelled of old smoke and everything looked like it was straight out of the 50s. We actually left a day early from vacation because it was so gross my family didn't want to sleep there.

The receptionist was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable about the local area. Her dinner suggestion resulted in a fantastic pizza.

Very clean room, although small. Front desk staff were friendly, but we did have some issues with them trying to charge us again when there was confusion about Expedia pricing. Exterior of building is old and sign in peeling and needs updating.

2/18/23. Room 105. Good beds, good Wi-Fi, good TV, good heat/AC, good hot water. Clean. Everything worked.
