The was great! We have a softball tournament every year in Cape Coral....So every year we always try to stay at The Hampton Inn. You guys are the best..Thank you

Let me start off by saying we love Hampton Inn. We always try to choose them whenever we travel and have never had a negative experience. That being said, I would not recommend Cape Coral. We were in town for a softball tournament. When we arrived they put us in the wrong room as we had booked a suite with a pull out sofa. The friendly front desk person quickly made it right. Once in the room we realized there was a very annoying loud sound coming from across the street. There was a generator running that was pumping water. We were hoping it was not going to run all night, but when we inquired with the front desk we learnt that it was a huge problem that had been going on for four months and the hotel had been trying everything to get the city to get the situation fixed, to no avail. When we requested a room change to the opposite side of the hotel, like everyone else on our softball team tried, we were told the hotel was sold out (as was the rest of the city) and there was nothing they could do for us. We were there for two nights and we barely slept. We tried ear plugs, sleeping with pillows over our heads, but the generator water pump sound just doesn't go away. We were told by the front desk staff to follow up with the hotel general manager and we are hoping they can live up to their brand promise to over exceed expectations. The room rate was $50/night more than Holiday Inn when we booked but we gladly paid more because we trust the Hampton brand. Will keep you posted.

We loved our stay!!! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good!! Beds and pillows comfy. Our only issue is NO housekeeping service some days. As in, trash not removed,no clean towels. We asked at front desk and were told they only do this every other day. Guests need to be warned of this at check-in. We would still stay again if our travels bring us back to Cape Coral!!!

We specifically chose this facility for being pet friendly and within our budget. There was no indication of an additional pet fee on their website. We were charged an additional $75. The amount we paid, room and fee were not worth it. Had we known we definitely would have made a different choice.

The hotel was good, free breakfast in a great location, close to everything. The one thing I dont like is that they put people without dogs next to people with dogs so we had to listen to barking all night when we were trying to sleep and barking early in the morning.

We had a terrific room! It was very spacious. I like that they don’t come in to clean your room each day. When I needed towels, I easily obtain them from the front desk. The breakfast daily was a nice option. The entire place smells fresh and clean. Front staff were kind. Only complaint is that the side door key reader did not work. Hopefully they get that fixed soon. We did not use the pool, so I can’t comment on that. Great value! Would definitely stay here again.
