No shower curtain, towels thin, had to get card redone everyday. Stale cereal and yogurt for breakfast. No staff on hand, english limited. Will not stay here again.

Service fees charged $1.50, $8, $50 and $50. Cost for one night was$190. They were willing to refund ,$50. After refund the charge is $145 for the night.

Overall it was a reliable and good stay. The receptionists were friendly and were as helpful as they could be. The qualm we experienced was on our first night where a different group accessed our room with their own keycard. We were saved by door locks and they could not get in. The next morning, the receptionist notified us someone else was assigned our room. She disclosed their name and phone number which is concerning for their privacy as well. There was a mix up of room bookings and we were supposed to have room 204 but was given 219. We continued to stay in the room we were first given, and I am grateful that there were no more hiccups the following night. Hopefully this does not happen often to others. On separate notes, the complimentary breakfast was nice, especially the vegan banana muffins. The bathtub draining could be improved. We would stay at Motel 6 Red Deer again as it was simple to book, close to our business conference venue, and checking in and checking out was easy.

There were issues about the room, but more importantly, the blankets had visible stains. I called the front desk and was given another blanked that had visible stains too.
The breakfast was very underwhelming: mini muffins, some yogurt, coffee and two options of cereal. That's it.

Value based choice. However I believe they missed the mark on what was expected. Breakfast was more like a snack bar. Customer service and front of the house presence was basically absent. Room look like it was run down and not cared for(stains everywhere). All these things add up to us choosing not to return.

Check In process is very slow. Breakfast foods were mostly all gone well before the end time and not replenished. Carpet in room not great. room was very hot, A/C even on cool setting blowing hot air, had to have window open to cool down, traffic noise was downside to that.

The breakfast was hortible, only toast, yogurt and cereal. No hog wayer, no tea not very accomodating. When we arrived our room was freezing. There were 2 of us and only enough towels for one. The pilliws were hard.

Motel room and bed were clean. Biggest problem was that it is a non-smoking motel and people were smoking on third floor. Issue was mentioned several times to front desk and we were basically ignored. Room telephone was broken and useless.Holder for shower head was broken. Snow had melted and lots of garbage in parking stalls in front of motel.

Great place to just sleep. Breakfast was very simple but good enough for the price.

Room was small and dirty. The mattress was old, dirty and sagging and there was pet hair in the carpet. The furnace vent pushed cold air into the room which made for a cold sleep even with the thermostat at 25 Celsius as the blankets are one sheet and a very thin blue felt blanket. Walls were also dirty. We did not attend the breakfast as it was very limited and the hotel is not clean.

First off the check in was hard and painfull. Not smooth but with that being said the two ladies helping me were great. However the hotel’s check in system was not great.
There was zero water available to buy from a machine or available in the lobby which means we had to use the bath tub faucet to fill water bottle.
The ice machine has just broke down but no temporary bags of ice were available
The breakfast was the first day consisted of apple/orange juice and/or coffee and toast, packaged muffins and yogurt. On the second day they added cereal so not the best breakfast but not the worst.
The beds were great and the room was clean.
The room key had to be re keyed 2-3 times in order to work.

Will never stay here again! No face cloths, hand towels, bathroom in horrible shape! Front desk guy didn't even know if they had ice, which they didn't, wifi sucked, no glasses to drink out of... i could go on, but you get my point.

Cheap rates and the staff is pleasant but doesn't really seem "on the ball". Had to switch rooms due to dead bugs in the bathroom. I think this is in a sketchy part of town so be careful.

People fighting outside and in the lobby. Ambulance showed up. Was not a great experience wouldn’t stay alone

As expected stay. Hotel was reasonably clean, water under the sink, toilet ran.
Overcharged credit card. Literally a dozen phone calls and noone picking up the phone to discuss. No voicemail or way to discuss with anyone is extremely frustrating. Do not recommend staying here, even for a quick overnight.

Beds are rock hard. Pillows are soft. Phone missing most buttons. Heating didn’t work. Stains all over the place. I don’t think they own a vacuum. It’s was gross. I won’t be back. I already cancelled another booking I had there.

There was hardly any breakfast. There were only 2 slices of bread and when we asked formore, the receptionist said there were no more left and the people may get them today

Upon checking in i paid 80.00 for the room on hotel.com with all fees it came to 88. When checking in they said the room was only 76. They were confused as to why i overpaid but it was late and i was tired . We got to our room where the carpet was lifting up the bed sheets were dirty and the toilet was clogged and over flowing from the last client who stayed there. I called the front desk and she came upstairs to our room saw it and gave us another room across the hall . This room the bed was also dirty crumbs in the sheets . We slept with our full clothes on . Overall you get what you paid for but The overall cleanliness of both rooms that was given to us was disgusting.

The motel room was not clean. I travelled with 2 dogs, one being very small. The carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed and the bedding did not look like it had been changed (hair on the bedding). I had to check the floor to make sure there wasn’t anything my dogs could ingest that would make them sick. I was paranoid all night that my little dog had eaten something he shouldn’t have. The toilet was also leaking a bit. I asked to have the room done up including the floors vacuumed and only the towels were changed. I did get an apology from the front desk when I left but I won’t be going back there.

This hotel doesn’t keep the outside lights on or the hotel name lite up. The location is totally dark and scary. No one ever at the front desk. The free breakfast is a box of cereal. We asked for a extra blanket and it took 2 hrs to get. There were no face cloths in the room and they took 1.30 hrs to get.

Budget friendly for sure. And the water was hot. Lot's of outlets in room for charging devices. Trying to phone the property is impossible though. Nobody ever answers. The front desk printer was out of toner and couldn't print me my receipts for my stay. The front desk staff member took my info for the manager to email me and I'm still waiting.

For 2 men we can adapt. My room had 1 towel, our other room had 2 and a clock, but the smoke detector was missing, and unable to find a container that would hold water or ice. The property was very clean and a good location. I would not take family to stay there.

This hotel was ok at best. The sheets are not great. Beds were not very comfortable, the room was pretty dated and the fridge was more of a freezer. Also had a very rude front desk agent when checking in and out. Thankfully a competent agent helped us finally check in. It was meh at best.

Staff was pleasant. Overall appearance of the room is good, nice little bonus to have the mini fridge and microwave. Tub was filthy, layer of oily grime, there was hair EVERYWHERE. All over the bottom of the tub, on the toilet paper, not entirely sure the sheets were clean, same with the towels. Pillows were very lumpy, one very thin blanket and the coverlet that was stained and not clean. I had the heat up to 20.5, full sweat suit and thick socks on, and put my jacket over top of the blankets to attempt to stay warm and was still cold. The mattress itself wasn’t too bad though.

Clean and comfortable, comfy mattress with great pillows in a quiet room made for a lovely stay. Newly renovated room had everything I needed except for a kettle. Gal at the front desk took care of that by boiling some water for me. I would reccomend for any short stay.

The room was dirty, the towels and bed covers were stained if not just dirty. The wall had something spilt down it. The fire alarm had a plastic bag over it. We have stay there many times before and had no problems but this time was different.
