Room was cold with broken bathroom tile. Toilet didnt work properly. Breakfast, however, was excellent as were the staff serving. Quite a challenge keeping up on a ski mountain that has seen its better days.

Our first time here and we will be back. It was clean, well kept and the staff was friendly and helpful. Walkable to Black Mountain. Breakfast available and the Shovel Handle Pub onsite was beautiful and whike we only had apps and drinks which were delicious, all the meals coming out looked amazing

Rooms are the same as on website. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, shower felt awesome - had great pressure and it felt like being home. Staff were all pleasant, friendly and informative. Breakfast was good and dinner was excellent. Cocktail was wonderful😊. Plenty of parking. I felt very safe there. I will return.

Beautiful property, close enough to the outlets but not so much that you’re impacted by the traffic. Such a cute, rustic feel in the rooms and lobby area.
Only thing I would complain about is the lack of bedside plugs for phones, tablets, etc. only plugs were on the other side of the room unless we unplugged the bedside lights.

Nice little place.

The room was small & outdated. The best part was breakfast the next day in the quaint dining room. Food was good as well as service! Cost was good as well!
No staff either!

Pretty area. Nice receptionist. Inexpensive for the area but In need of some updating appreciate old style, but the carpet, cracked, peeling linoleum, bedspreads, pillows, just needs updating. Cleanliness 3/5. 1 Curly black hair in both the sink and shower. Not enough Wi-Fi to get the TV to work. Just enough to login and then not strong enough to play anything. Tried several times during stay, never could get enough Wi-Fi strength in our room to watch anything. We picked this place because the pub in the inn looks cool and thought it would be a nice mountain town pub. The pub at this time of year, October, is only open like two days a week, so that was not for us. Overall, it’s not a bad experience, but not comfortable enough that I would return.

There website site photos are so,so, deceiving room are nothing like there photos. They dont tell you the rooms you chose are on the second floor of the Inn! A set of old steep steps, with stair runners that haven't be cleaned since the place was built, parking in front for 3 cars??? But there is parking around back if you want to walk no convenient for seniors citizens, especially the stairs to there second floor rooms corridors dark haven't been painted for years, I never leave bad reviews but this was an exception. Stay away. We left after sitting in this dark brown painted room for 15 minutes just in disbelief. Ended up a the Lodge at jackson village 5 minutes away, were we stood before, thank god they had a couple vacancies. Clean place great parking beautiful grounds. We just wanted to try some place different for a change, never again!!! Just beware, unless you know someone that has stayed there and can tell you something different. Stay away!!°

The bathroom had tiles that could be picked up off the floor because they were broken. It was a room that needed maintenance and had been neglected. Our room had dog hair all over the beds.
Place looks great in pictures but not a favorite to stay in.

Awesome old rustic place and vibes

Check in super easy. Accommodations were in keeping with inn-theme. Beds really comfortable. 1960s bathroom - which I had no problem with. Would definitely stay there again.

Our room was small which I knew when I booked. I was not aware the room had pipes hanging down from an already low season and my tall husband almost hit his head a few times. The bed was very tall. I am short and had a hard time getting in the bed. The bed was way too soft and it felt like sleeping on a marshmallow and not it a good way. The outlets were old and we had a hard time finding one were the cords were not too loose. The towels were brown, which we thought was odd. Was that to cover stains? The tissue box was empty and there was only a partial roll of toilet paper. I’m sure we could have asked for more, but I feel like extra should be there if needed. There is only a very small parking lot next to the inn, and it was full when we returned from dinner, so we had to park in another lot on the other side of the pub next to the inn. The pub is only open on weekends, so we had to go out in search of food. The breakfast menu looked nice, but they don’t start serving until 8, and we had to get on the road by 8. Overall, the inn has potential but needs some TLC.

Such a cute little inn! We absolutely loved our stay here

We stayed in the lifeline lodge suit. It was the perfect size for 2 adults & children. Awesome views, friendly staff, reasonable priced.

Only issue was, for some reason, the State room tax wasn't communicated as paid when room was reserved, so got charged for this at checkout, and this took a bit of time to resolve, so was late for an appt. Desk clerk did her best. Great location and clean facility!

I loved this place. Right at the bottom of a ski hill with good vistas. It has a bit of a bohemian feel but everything is clean. The internet was down but I still got phone reception. The food at the adjacent Pub was very good as was the breakfast. I will definitely be back.

There was a room above us that had three children running until mid it’s!!! Also how can you have a partial kitchen with no way to drain any liquid.we spent one night only

The decor and atmosphere is perfect for the woodsy mountainous region. There are too many stairs there. Up to your room, down, up and up some more to restaurant. No handicap access. Restaurant food was expensive and very limited. Breakfast is not free and is way too expensive for what you get.

Very friendly and helpful staff! We checked in late, but that was not a problem. They left the key on the counter with a letter and instructions. Overall, nice place to stay, close to Mount Washington.

We liked the layout of the suite. Felt like we had some privacy from the kids. A microwave and mini- fridge was convenient. Coffee maker was nice to have also, but there were no mugs in the room. There was, however, coffee and travel cups in the main building that we could help ourselves to. The kids liked the heated pool. There were extra towels nearby if needed. The staff was friendly and willing to serve. The room and outdoors was more rustic than we expected ( though the room was clean). Some things outside could have been cleaned up and better maintained. I guess the photos of the place were taken on a good day. It was an average place and convenient for us, but we likely would stay somewhere else in the future.

Very nice place with a nice pubs and breakfast place, clean, very friendly staff, soft matelas and small bathroom in our room

The staff was awesome! However, the room I booked through Hotels.com was not the room reserved for us when we got there. We had to cram 4 people into a 1 bedroom suite for 3 days.

An uncomfortable bed with a rock hard mattress and a dog that barked loudly all night long made sleep near impossible. I was told the dog was the inn owner's guard dog for the property's farm. No staff was available between 9 pm - 7 am to help with the constantly barking dog. I checked out a day early. Never again.

My sister and I stayed for a weekend and the staff was very pleasant. The Inn was very home like feeling and clean. I would love to stay again in the future.

We have a great but too short stay with folks at Whitney. They couldn’t be more accommodating and helpful especially since we’re traveling with our 4 year old granddaughter. Great location near Storyland and North Conway. And An excellent Pub style restaurant on site. Plan to stay there again soon.

It’s a great place to get away from the crowds of North Conway.

Lovely property; polite staff; nice looking pool but didn't use... Parking is problematic. A little hard to find, and our room was on the second floor... not easy for two elderly visitors!

The location was great for skiing. That was about it for positives.
The room was beat up, there were no places to set anything, the bathroom and floor was terrible, the TV couldn’t be watched because the door for the armoire wouldn’t stay open, there was no way to control the heat, the neighbors were smoking pot in their rooms, and the parking was awful.

Nice New England inn but some updating is due. Staff pleasant and helpful

There are so many inns in the area. This is a beautiful property and cute inn! Like the rest of the world, they were short staffed and had keys in envelopes for self check in. It was very easy and convenient. We were hoping to go to the pub, but there was a wedding taking place. It was close enough to other options that made up for it. Would definitely comeback!

We really loved this place. The room was fantastic and the grounds lovely. The best part was that both employees we encountered were genuine and kind people. So welcoming!! Would definitely stay here again!
