Room was Grubby and had an odor.
The guy behind the counter was rude, and had a terrible body odor.
You would think, working with the public that you would present yourself in a fashionable manner.

Door wouldnt shut. I slept with my glock next to me...the place is run down. Very noisy not only hotel but road noise. They may as well put the beds on rt 95.

The king bed rooms are top floor and face the interstate. There is a decent amount of road noise in the room even over the noise of the AC unit.
Location is convenient to many restaurants and shopping, but access is via a busy shopping plaza. Area felt safe.
Breakfast is basic but well monitored.
Overall check room location if noise is a concern.

I want to say that being able to bring my dog with me was the main reason for picking the hotel. Everything else was perfect, though. The staff were amazing, the hotel was clean, and the breakfast was your typical complimentary breakfast but was good. My dog was so happy staying there, and I was happy as well. I will definitely be staying there again on my next vacation, and I highly recommend it!!

Noisy from freeway traffic. Your competitor across the street is much quieter and I will stay there next time

I usually pick this hotel chain because of their attention to every comfort detail. From the clean rooms to the breakfasts. If you have a problem they are almost always immediately there. There were a couple of exceptions, but they were attended to within a decent time frame.

Loved the space we had in our room however all of the furnishings were very dated and worn. My dog found a few things that were missed on the floor, wrappers, etc. The bathroom was nicely remodeled. The room was very quiet even having other dogs on the floor. Understanding that you are located next to a very busy road there was a lot of trash in around the exterior of the building. To be dog friendly and have all of that around where you are walking your pet is worrisome. The lobby was clean and the breakfast variety was tasty and nice.

Good location but bed was terrible. Sleeping on floor would have been more comfortable. Pillows were awful. Whole floor smelled like Marijuana.

Wooded area abutting the property a literal trash dump.
VERY difficult to find driving entrance to the hotel.

This was a nice hotel. I would stay here again. The olny downfall is there isn't much around. There was a Cracker Barrel that you could walk too. That's it. It's off a major road so it can be noisy and very busy. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. Nothing fancy but good. Breakfast wasn't bad. It had everything you'd want and it was good.

Charged double the rate for race day weekend so I'll compare it to a $350/night hotel for which I was charged. As others mentioned, it is musty, very musty. Dehumidifiers were abundant around the halls and common areas so they are aware of it and obviously have been for some time. Other reviews mention the smell and this seems like a feeble attwmpt at mitigated it. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and moldy grout. The shower curtain was badly stained. The room was cramped and the bed wasnt comfy. Its legitimately the worst night of sleep Ive had in a while and my father felt the same way. No one uses the phone but it was gross and missing buttons. Breakfast was mediocre at best, its not hard to heat up frozen items and it tasted like such. Really just multiple signs of general neglect and lack of accountability or maybe its lack of concern. WILL NOT stay here again, WOULD NOT recommend. That being said, the few staff interactions I had were the only shining light

For a pet-friendly hotel, I was thinking it may be run down. I was pleasantly surprised. However, they do spray the rooms with a very strong perfumed scent. It did trigger a migraine but I hear that is becoming more popular everywhere.

The LaQuinta in Port Orange was comfortable and nearby to my family. I had a clean room and the TV service was good.
There could have been more breakfast options.

It's pet friendly, which is ok, but housekeeping did not do a good job. Room stank of urine. Also, a previous guest had used the ice bucket as a trash can and housekeeping had not cleaned it. The desk staff was efficient and friendly.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and modern. The free breakfast was good, too. The only downside was the hot tub was just hot with no bubbles. All in all, a great stay!

Dead bugs in the bathroom no hot water had to move rooms . Other rooms had espn my room didn’t . Room didn’t get cleaned or garbage taken out of the room .

This was the 3rd stay in the last month for my husband and his mom, my first. We all enjoyed staying here. Comfortable beds, clean room, good breakfast. The staff was friendly. And they're pet friendly.

DOORS, especially the door to my room! The KEY card had to be jiggled and pushed in and out several times until it finally opened. They are wood doors hung inside steel frames. I'm sure the damp weather helped to swell these wood doors. They are in serious need of attention.
TOILET PAPER HOLDER, this was our comic relief. It was hanging by one screw. Lots of luck.
OUT DOOR LAND SCAPING, looks like a jungle. This takes away from beauty of the property.

Never have a problem with any La Quinta's. Staff is great, room were clean. Only prole is it's located right on the entrance ramp for I 95, so we did here some loud motorcycles gunning their engines getting to to highway speed. We will stay here again.

The stay was great no problems what so ever. Room was very clean and everything was great and well worth the price.

The room smelled like urine and mold. There were bugs crawling around on the bed and end table, which was next to the bed. We immediately checked out and didn’t stay longer than 1 minute.
