Building was definitely showing signs of wear. Carpet in hallways was dirty. Management was friendly and helpful.

Went to bed about 10:30 PM. Probably slept 3 hours between then and 5:30 when `i got up. Your A/C in the room sucks. `I had the temp turned down to 64 degrees F and tried both Auto and `manual controls trying to ge the temperature to where I was comfortable to no avail. If it had not been 50 degrees outside it would have been unbearable. I'll stay somewhere else from now on.

Very limited selection at breakfast. Elevator was not functioning most of the time, including when we were taking suitcases to our car from the third floor. Very few TV channels and half those were shopping channels.

My cousin from Houston met my daughter and I in Ennis for the Stampede of Speed and it was Stars over Texas so there was drag racing cars, country music concerts, a drone show. I booked the first night and my cousin booked the second night and we had no problem with just staying in the same room. It is amazingly clean, fresh, everything looks new and not your normal worn down furniture or old dust ruffles. The pillows were nice, the beds were make to perfection. It is right off the freeway with lots of food choices close by. Truly excellent hotel for such a small off the Highway town!!🙌🙌

First off, I know I purchased the suite with 2 standard beds with a sofa bed. Didnt get what I actually purchased, and was told they sold out when I bought out right that room. Then the late night front desk person was not accommodating...had my 2 kids downstairs to get us food at the little store inside and they were told they were not the paying customer and didn't let them buy food. Had to get out of bed from my shower, get dressed and go downstairs to purchase my kids food. I mean come on, you saw us all together. He knew they were my kids. Then earlier tells us we cant swim after 9pm in the pool. Sooo many rules and no accommodations get bad reviews. Good thing the Saturday morning desk girl was better, as she let us stay a bit longer to swim on the pool and give us towels. That's all my kids wanted to do is swim and that was the only reason we stayed in the hotel.

No extra pillows , breakfast was sausage and eggs for hot items, rooms are outdated , pool was big enough for baseball kids. First room smelt horrible and front desk moved us with no problem. Dresser drawers wouldn't close and front desk had no tape. Kids ran into them. Front desk tolerated loud kids in the breakfast area playing after we were rained out at the pool. Thank you!

I didn’t stay … I checked in at 3:35 and checked out around 8:30 ish after I filed police report. I could not stay with a broken window therefore I had to return home because my car was broken into … shattered the right passenger window…. They were unable to refund my money either.

Nice Hotel. I'd probably consider staying again. Room was clean and quiet, great location for the Polka Festival. But, I was disappointed that the breakfast was only served 6:00 - 9:00 and it was hardly a "breakfast". Scrambled eggs from commercial egg mix was the only protein offered and the coffee was not very good. Also chambermaid did not speak English so I could not communicate what I needed.

It was very convenient as far as access to the highway and several nice restaurants. Overall it was very clean, and our room was very nice. We were in a room for those with physical disabilities, but it was very lacking in one major requirement. The shower had nothing on the tub floor to prevent slipping, and slipping we did. Both me and my wife. She wound up falling completely out of the tub and on the floor. They had plenty of hand grips but unless you held on to them all of the time they didn't help. Another GREAT disappointment was the advertised hot breakfast. It was the worst we've ever experienced. We were there in a group of seven and when we went to breakfast there wasn't anyone tending the area and the first group left because there was no sausage and only enough scrabbled eggs for two. The whole thing was set up as though they had run out of almost everything and there was no one to replenish the supply. We have enjoyed hot breakfast at many hotels but this one was absolutely the worst. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. By the way the beds were like sleeping on a carpeted floor. Very uncomfortable!!!

It was a stormy night and we lost power for about 5 hours, but beds and pillows are comfy. It does need some upgrading but overall, it was a good stay. Staff were great. Close to many food options. If I had any complaint, it would've been the breakfast. The hours should be changed (especially weekend stayers for later) and the lack of options for food.

There was a thunderstorm coming through that knocked out the electricity so we didn't have lights or air conditioning all night long it finally came back on at 6:00 AM. I am surprised that a hotel this large didn't have a back up generator or something to keep the guests comfortable. Definitely not worth the price for this night in particular.

We just stayed one night as we were in town for the Bluebonnet Festival. Our room was comfortable but smelled a bit musty. I feel the cost of the room, even with Hotels.com, was too high for this hotel. The check in was smooth and clerk was very friendly. We checked in late on a Friday night and missed breakfast as it ends at 9:00 am which in my opinion is too early for a weekend. For the price of the room, we had looked forward to the breakfast. The Bluebonnet Festival and Trails were great, though.

Apparently my old bank card was still attached to my hotels.com account. It got declined due to me having to get a new bank card. However, the hotels.com app never informed me and neither did the hotel. I didn't find out until I got there and he said there were 7 people that had this same thing happen. I know why they don't call. Hotels are a racket. They canceled those 7 people's rooms and didn't call because they were charging more for the rooms and they can make more money. They made $30 off of me because of it. My 77 year old diabetic father and I had nowhere else to go as everything was booked up. The app however kept sending my emails and messages asking how my check-in was..
