great stay ... good people ... nice lobby

We love this hotel, however I give it a low review because we had a technical error booking the hotel and tried to immediately cancel but they wouldn’t let us. So we were charged twice for one stay. So disappointing as we do love this hotel.

Spacious room.

Room was very nice: up-to-date design, well laid out, quiet, clean and comfortable.

Very clean… very comfortable beds and pillows along with a very good breakfast. I would definitely stay again here.

Manager and clerks on duty always very attentive to our requests. Wish actual "soap" and extra towels would be provided in advance so we don't have to ask. Didn't like that in this particular room there was no light over the alcove where the refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker were It was difficult to see the controls in low light.

The hotel was clean and the staff were extremely courteous. The room was comfortable, clean, and the hvac unit worked well. On the downside, the elevator is very slow and there was only the one and many guests were coming and going. Also, the breakfast has changed significantly. The cups for drinks are very small - maybe 2-4 oz. Instead of waffles, they have an automatic pancake maker, which is fine - except that they put out 2 tiny pancakes. I'd call them mico-mini pancakes because it'd take 4 of them to equal a small. I'd also suggest they have a water dispenser near the coffee area for those who want a drink, and not have to wait for the kitchen area to be open to get it.

Very nice and clean hotel. Happy with our room other than they skipped us cleaning one day but management took care of it themselves. Yes we would go back. Also liked the connecting restaurant

Nice place and the home of the Little League World Series. Beautiful part of Pennsylvania.

The lamps at the head of the beds did not light. The alarm clock display was not operating. I called the front desk and they sent a person to investigate. He thought it was just a need for new bulbs. Not! After several attempts to fix the switched us to a different room. I wondered why Housekeeping people didn't detect this when cleaning the room. After we switched rooms we observed there was no alarm clock in the new room. Guest services quickly got another (from our first room). Again, why wouldn't Housekeeping have reported this issue instead of allowing the situation to cause an inconvenience to a guest?

The room was a decent size and the staff was friendly. Our room did have an odd odor though.

Stayed here for a stop over for a road trip. Walkable to a number of restaurants, including The Brickyard, which we gave thumbs up all around. Anyway, negatives - like others, having the Holiday Inn and HI Express right next to each other was confusing and I also tried to check in to Holiday Inn. Then later, I needed to ask for more towels and the front desk person was out. The sign said to go to the HI desk... but we couldn't find it! The main floor is kind of a maze. We had a road-facing room. There is nothing the hotel can do, but the road noise was loud at times with speeding motorcycles and loud semis. Positives - room was clean, bed was comfy, free breakfast was good, with a good variety. So for our overnight stay, was perfectly suitable and would stay here again, maybe just ask for a non-road facing room.

The complimentary breakfast was absolutely fantastic! Best I've had! The options were limitless and the food was very good!

Positive: Clean/friendly service/adequately comfortable. Negative: Confusing entrance of 2 hotels/One elevator only for the 2 hotels/Which exit on first floor???/Credit card for incidentals for what exactly?????/And mostly the poor Wifi is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!! And that is the reason I will look for other options in the future.

Super comfy beds. Nice showers. Clean rooms. A little confusing on entrering though as the express is behind the main hotel. Breakfast was sub par at best.

I had issues with my room in that the refrigerator was making allot of noise. When I asked to have it changed out the response I got was it may be easier to just move rooms. I agreed and took the room next to mine. When I went to move, the room keys did not work. I returned back to the desk a second time to get new keys. When returning, the keys did not work a second time. I had to return to the desk a third time. Keep in mind there is a single elevator that is extremely slow. Rather than offering to just change out the refrigerator which would have take minutes, I am now 20 minutes later and still no access. Finally the Maintenace person gave me access to the new room and then went to get new keys which upon return did not work again. He tried a programmer and that did not work. I ended up having to leave me room unlocked while they fix the issue and leave me a set of keys to be picked up at the front desk. Needless to say replacement of the noisy refrigerator would have been the best option and I was not offered any compensation for my inconvenience nor even a feeling of care for causing said inconvenience.

Very clean and bright room and bath. I really appreciate the full sized shampoo, etc. for a 3 night stay. Quality products, too.

I didn't like the elevator was broken. I had to carry heavy luggage to the third floor. The people in the room next to me argued late at night then again early in the morning waking mt son and i up at 6am. It wasnt a pleasant stay

Me and my family loved it first time staying at a holiday inn express & Suites hotel and we definitely will be staying at one next time we travel it was very nice and clean bathroom sink counter was nice and spacious can fit a lot of stuff on the counter had the best hand wash soap and body wash and lotion everything was Dove and it smelled good had a refrigerator and microwave and the room was very clean only thing the elevator wasn’t working but that was no problem because we was only on the 2nd floor but I rate this hotel a 10

I chose this hotel because of the indoor pool.Iwas very dismayed when we went down and. found ot was not heated.

Elevator was broke had to carry my luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Went down at 2:30 am to get water no one at the desk.
