Loved the hotel, loved the people and loved that it had a pool!!

Clean and well maintained but a little outdated. Were hoping for a restaurant but that's not around anymore. Very roomy with a beautiful pool that is very well maintained.

Wonderful service. Clean, safe and comfortable.

Room was dark, needed more lighting. Tiled floors were cold, needed a rug between the beds. Shower head needed to be replaced, just delivered one blast of water. Staff were friendly, off season rates were excellent. Room was large, would be good for a family.

We booked 5 rooms for our Traveling Techs. They loved the place!

Very cute little Inn and the pool was well maintained.

Very convenient for enjoying what the community has to offer.

Despite some frigid weather, the service at The Inn at Old Nauvoo was warm and friendly! Took a bit to get the temperature in the room just right, but considering the weather, it was not that unexpected. Overall, very nice overnight stay.

Everyone was very helpful. We didn’t get the room that we reserved.

It was nice. There was only one trash can in the room and the TV was kinda small but other than that, it was what I was looking for. No breakfast.

We paid more to have an extra twin bed in the room, but when we got there, we were given a room without it. They ended up bringing a Murphy bed in for us, but I had to fight for it.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a toilet clogging issue which they took care of. It was a quiet hotel and clean. But ok is a good way to describe it

I chose this hotel to be close to downtown Nauvoo. The charming character of the hotel has been updated to provide guests with the comfort you'd expect in a hotel. I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. It was very clean. The hardwood floors were recently upgraded. There is a microwave and mini fridge in each room. The staff are very friendly and informative. My trip to Nauvoo was in mid September and the restaurant inside the hotel was closed, but the desk clerk was able to recommend a good family friendly restaurant in Hamilton for breakfast. The has a pool and a gift shop. There is plenty of outdoor parking. On the down side, the TV in the room was small. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast. Check in is 4 PM and check out is 10 AM. Overall the hotel is a wonderful place for families, couples, or individuals to stay while visiting Nauvoo, Illinois. Reasonably priced hotel close to Nauvoo Temple.

The tub would not drain either day we were there. Although the room was OK for our needs, it seemed a little shabby. The tub did not help our assessment.

They have family rooms available to fit large families in one room

Older building. Paper thin walls. 10am checkout not convenient. Ok for a one night stay, but won’t be going back again.

The location was good, but I have never had such a small TV that's mounted to the wall in all of the motels that I have stayed at.

This hotel was certainly not a 5 star hotel but it was so nice and cute. I had no problems during my stay at the hotel.

It is close to the main attractions. The room was clean. Bed was hard and amenities are average at best. If you just want a property in the area this will work. The maintenance guy was extremely helpful and came after hours to replace an air conditioner that was leaking water.

Very convenient. Excellent, spacious room. Comfortable. Too expensive without breakfast.
2.0
Clean and comfortable. Only negative is the few electrical receptacles are so old and worn out that my charge cords fell out. Other than the challenge to charge my phone overnight, I highly recommend staying there.

Room smelled like Body oder as soon as you walk in

Strange times we're living in. The kitchen was closed because not enough workers. I was disappointed. This is a no frills place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. We were kept up because of crying child in the next room.

Clean rooms pleasent staff. Nauvoo is not established as a tourist city. Small city USA with some attractions that specific persons want to see.

Lots of big fluffy towels, pool well kept and so fun for the kids, friendly and helpful staff, nice facilities, super air conditioning even on very HOTdays!

It says breakfast is available but there was literally nowhere in Nauvoo for breakfast except a gas station convenience store. It would have been helpful to know that before our stay. When asked, the locals suggested we drive into Keokuk or Fort Madison. Very basic hotel, no frills, but seemed clean. Not sure if I would stay here again.

House keeping was almost nonexistent

Very friendly staff. Easy parking. Good location.

The restaurant in the hotel was for special events and not for guests. There was only one place to eat In Navoo and it was limited to burgers and sandwiches. To eat a decent meal you had to drive to either Hamilton, Illinois or Keokuk,Iowa, about a 30 mile round trip.

Very friendly & courteous staff

Good place for families visiting Nauvoo.
Feels safe and close to historic Nauvoo. It was clean and I appreciated the extra towels
Bed are comfortable.
Shower was hot with good water pressure.
Very limited dining options.
I would families to bring most of your food with you.
Inadequate parking available compared to size of hotel.
My kids enjoyed the pool but noticed it was dirty.

The hotel is well kept and clean. Staff is very friendly. The only negative and it’s really a negative, the rooms do not have great lighting. It is nothing that would keep us back from staying again. Definitely a great place to stay.

The check-in process went smooth; however, I had to wait for the clerk to finish her conversation with the other clerk about how she was wrong in balancing her cash drawer. That conversation between the two clerks could have been put on hold until we were checked-in and had left the room. As a customer, I didn't need to hear them politely argue as they reconciled their differences. After they decided they better acknowledge my presence, the check-in went smoothly.
At first glance at the building, I was skeptical. While the exterior looked in decent shape for being an old building, I was concerned about the interior...because it was an old building.
When you first open the exterior door of the building to enter the hallway, you are greeted with a beautiful smell. I was absolutely blown away by the beauty and brightness of the interior of the hotel. Inside our room, I was even more impressed. The room was spacious, clean, and had a very nice smell.
As a heads up, the walls are thin. We heard the parents next to us very clearly as they talked to and tried to comfort their crying baby. Once the baby settled, everything was quiet.
The "adjoining room door" doesn't have a lock on the door from our side of the room. I suspect the door on the other side doesn't have a lock on it either. Not a major thing, but I did notice it in passing by the door.
I would absolutely stay here again, and hope we don't have a crying baby for a neighbor. :)
