I don't know what y'all are complaining about. It was perfect for our needs, and when we needed to extend our stay, it was done in 15 seconds. If you want a concierge, maybe don't look at the bottom of the cost list. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

No real complaints … served my needs for the night … a clean shower and a clean bed

If you are looking for a good deal this is the spot to go. Rooms are clean for the most part. Some of the rooms have a funny smell but a little air freshener solves that. if you are looking for something family friendly or you are traveling with kids, this is probably not the best spot in my opinion. It’s very laid back and as long as you aren’t being disruptive the staff pretty much mind their business. Lots of food options and a couple stores within walking distance. Several Vending machines, laundry room for guests, large parking lot, no deposit required, they take cash and card. The photo I am posting with this review is how I set my room up, I added an led light on the headboard and used gift wrap tissue paper in the wall lights to change them to red.

First room they gave me was not even cleaned. Second room they gave me the air conditioner was in pieces. Felt very unsafe. Smokey smelling also.

I wasn't expecting 5 star accommodations. I literally needed a place to lay my head. Hall smells like weed. Lots of noise inside. Bathroom in horrible condition. Vandalism in the room. I will say I appreciated them servicing my room and the bed was comfortable. Property is close to food and interstate. Several homeless lingering around.

Left after the first night of 4! Arrived late and there were drug addicts in the hallways, dealers in the parking lots and Prostitutes coming and going !
It didn’t look anything like the “pictures”! It was filthy and the shower barely worked!
The front desk attendant was very nice though and refunded me 3 nights thankfully!!

Area around the hotel looked bad,and so did the building in the outside. The hallway wasn't great, but wasn't terrible either. Room was nice, big and clean. Interstate traffice is bad if your room is on the interstate side

Seriously.. this place was the worst motel I have ever seen. First off the surroundings are dreadful. The parking lot is all full of holes. There was caution tape strung everywhere and the power line situation overhead was making a creepy loud buzzing noise.
When I booked the room it said there was secure locked parking. That was wide open when we arrived late at night. Several prostitutes working the lot and the manager was out there. There was a weird check-in window, but I ended up going inside. The lobby was gross. Got our key and went back to the car to find parking. More prostitutes and one getting yelled at by who I assume was a pimp. At this point I told my kids to leave their stuff in the car. Went inside the building the hall light was flickering like a horror movie. Found our room and when we opened the door we were hit by the smell of some kind of oil-based exterior paint. The cinder block wall room was painted a weird color like they just used whatever cheap paint they were able to find even though it was not appropriate for interior use. The room stunk so bad. There was no furniture really. There was a small table that was covered in filth. There were two queen beds with extremely dirty bedspreads covered in really gross stains and multiple burn holes all over them. There were small bugs when we first turned on the light. The floor was actually sticky.
I told my kids we were leaving and that is what we immediately did. I can't even imagine the bathroom.
So bad!

If you just need some where to sleep, this is the place. Nothing more nothing less. No breakfast served. No pools. Some of the tvs dont work in the rooms so you may have to change rooms a few times. Some of the electrical plugs are burned as if it was a near fire. Some latches for the doors dont work. If you trying to do Bourbon and stuff, you will need a car if you stay here to get back and forth. Because you cant simply walk to Bourbon from this motel.

The room was a nice size overall. The beds were comfortable. I could've used some bigger pillows. The lil fridge didn't get cold at all and there were barely any good channels to watch on the TV.

We had a service dog and the guy at front desk at night had already gave us the kyes and, as soon as he saw the dog, he wanted to change the room, with out any explanation.
Plus. The woman working at the front desk in tge morning, said we can not have a dog there because she was allergic. As my known ledge,The motel is pet friendly and ours in not a dog, is a service dog and we showed his id at front desk.

We didn't even stay here. They neighborhood was sketchy, the Hotel was so rundown on the outside, we never even went inside. I know its a Motel 6, but I at least expected to feel safe there and I did not.

Motel 6 is a basic hotel- that is reflected in the price. You don't get breakfast, and the furniture is sparse- but this location was extremely clean, and felt very safe! The rooms are huge! And did i mention clean? You are within a block of mcdonald's, burger King, family dollar, walmart, and more. It is RIGHT off i10 and an easy fifteen minute drive to the port, 17 minutes from the zoo, and 10-20 minutes to Bourbon/ French quarters. Staff is polite! If you're looking to spend a few nights in NOLA, don't need extra luxuries, and are on a budget, this place is perfect! We will definitely return on future trips to the area!

The only upside was, the bed was comfortable, and the place was better than a tent. The shower handle was falling off, and the sink tap was loose. The whole place was stinky . The carpet was worn out. It was just not a pleasant place.

Not sure what was going on, but my blanket had cigarette burns in it. My TV remote didn't work. Bathroom door had severe paint chipping. A/C couldn't go lower than 68. I booked my reservation for less than $70, but when I arrived, they charged me over $80 then tried convincing me it was my fault.
