i really liked the heritage caracter of this old prison! All in all a nice place to be, close to the city, friendly staff and a really good full breakfast.

It was an experience to stay in a small cell. Nice bed and great breakfast. Wifi was not good in room. And there was also no curtain which made it very bright in the room early morning.

My stay was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prison cell room was very unique. It was small but the room and bathroom were very clean.

There were no surprises staying in an converted prison cell, except for the ensuite bathroom! It was a warm night without ventilation in the room. Authentic feel of the place with interesting historical display on ground floor. Good communal kitchen facilities and outside a large courtyard with tables and chairs. We enjoyed the continental breakfast. Dinner was available. Plenty of private parking spaces. Location was convenient, a short walk to the central area and waterfront. The entrance was a puzzle - locked front door with a notice to call a mobile, which went to voice mail and was not received by the staff. Access to reception is via the back entrance, either through parking area, or the big gates next to the front door might be open.
