Excellent place. Had a good and free breakfast with eggs and sausage. Plus a free shuttle on Friday/Saturday nights to bring you in and out of Deadwood.

We stay here at least a few times per year, usually on skiing trips. It is our absolute favorite hotel in the Black Hills. The hot tubs are well-maintained, the front desk staff is helpful, there is transportation to downtown Deadwood, and there is good (better than continental) breakfast daily. The rooms are clean and spacious. This hotel is so underrated. You can also walk over to a fantastic restaurant (Sled Haus) right up the road.

It was a good place. The room was clean and in good shape. The staff was very cordial and polite. The free shuttle to and from main street Deadwood was an awesome bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Service was great, could have used fresh towels daily but we asked and got more. Bed were fine but always wish they were a bit softer like home. Breakfast was good and shuttle service to Deadwood a very nice option. Would stay here again.

The room was too hot. Temperature in Room was hard to control. Noise between rooms was very prominent. Parking kinda sucked but we would definitely stay again for a cheap hotel hands down do it again.

Nice hotel especially for the money, we paid 60 dollars a night for two Queen. Don’t expect up to date furnishings but it’s not dirty, just a little worn down. Good breakfast for the price too

Rooms were a very pleasant surprise. Used to have a cabin in the area and did not have a great opinion of the white building but they have done a tremendous job of making improvements. Kind of like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. Great job!!!

The hotel looks old and unkempt from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised upon entering to find a warm, clean welcoming atmosphere. The room was clean and in good condition. The walls are thin this you will hear the neighbors talking in the middle of the night, etc. overall it was a great place to stay .

I have stayed at this hotel several times and always good. This stay not so much. The bathroom was nit clean, was shampoo bottles from last guest left in the shower and the bathroom floor was not clean

Front desk person was nice. Room was filthy. There was a bloody dried booger on the pillow case. Floor was dirty. Hair on bathroom sink and countertop. AC didn’t work.

Housekeeping forgot to remove food trash from room prior to our arrival. Strawberries rotting on the bathroom counter and oozing pink juice down into the sink and across the countertop. Take out food left in containers all over the room - pretty disgusting and had to clean it all out of the room ourselves. Other than that it was an okay stay.

Ive stayed here before a few years ago and its gone downhill since. Shower was dirty and gross, stain on comforter. Shuttle driver to deadwood was just stupid. He likes to block handicap spots while waiting for passengers to take to deadwood and then at the end of the night he parks the shuttle in the hashmarks again blocking access to my van when there is a degisnated parking spot for it. We asked the 1st time it happened if he could move so i could get in my van (im in a wheelchair so i need space in front of my van to get in) and he had an attitude about it. Parking spots are limited because there are trucks, trailers and utv's that take up 2-3 spots each. They cater to this group. Breakfast was good and most of the staff was very friendly.

Our room (specifically bathroom) very small. It’s a very old property. We didn’t realize it was not in Deadwood. It’s about 3 miles away. They did run a shuttle which was nice to Deadwood. They had no coffee (totally out) at breakfast.

Good bathroom and shower, vanity had plenty of room. Hair dryer missing from room, good thing I had one. Extremely bad wi-Fi, had to use my Verizon cell phone with 2 bars as a hot spot. Saturday breakfast had NO coffee, fortunately they had some on Sunday.

Overall not too bad. A few things though like a few more luggage carts. Upgrade air conditioning units. High speed fan was about it. Moved couch and was filthy underneath it. But they came asap with vacuum! Could use some fruit with breakfast too. Staff however was very friendly and accommodating. Tough location by noisy major highway.
