Great location; walking distance to the Arch and the City Museum (the highlights of our trip). The breakfast was amazing; everything you could ask for (omelettes, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, etc). The room we stayed in was huge and perfect for our family of five. Some of the interior was a little dingy (scuffs on walls, the blanket for the fold out couch had some stains on it, etc.), and it was a slight irritation that the vending machines and the ice machine on our floor didn’t work, but overall we’d stay here again.

Room was not ready at check-in. We waited in the lobby for 2 hours, a long with other travelers, waiting for a room to be available. Suite was also located by dumpsters, and every morning around 5am we would be woken up by the garbage trucks. Pool area was small, extremely cold, and hot tub was not working. Breakfast was good, but evening reception could use additional bartenders and better setup for snacks, as lines were long.

It was a wonderful hotel! We were sorry to hear the hot tub was out of service when we checked in.

Thank you for suite upgrade

There was no hit water and we werent advised until we checked in. The pool and hot tub were freezing. The $9 macaroni was microwave and the pizzas tasted like sweaty feet. Altogether a terrible experience for my family.

Hotels.com and the property failed to mention KEY elements that would have massively impacted our decision to book here:
1. Plan to spend $50 extra per night for valet parking because that's the ONLY parking option (otherwise you have to FIND city parking and hope you're in the right spot for overnight privileges)
2. Plan to spend $80 extra per night for incidentals.
So, if you're keeping track, this hotel is $130 PER NIGHT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN ADVERTISED
3. The pool was closed due to construction

Great view, great breakfast clean hotel, but the couch was wore out and very uncomfortable in our room

Parking is not great, so you pretty much have to valet. Other than that it was fantastic

We were very pleased with our choice of hotel for this weekend dance convention. The customer service is top-notch, the breakfast was delicious and all went well.

Not a typical Embassy Suites in terms of layout. At least compared to the ones I have stayed at before. Staff and guest services were exceptional, and the breakfast, as always, was fantastic.

I Loved the high ceilings in my room ... if or should I say when I come again, I will stay here ... might even ask for the same room

No water. They said if you use the restroom we will bring a bucket and flush it. I need my money back. We don’t deserve this.

The only two complaints I have about this location is that valet parking is an extra 50 dollars a day for over night parking (good luck finding a place to park without valet due to location) but they had my car ready within 5-8 mins of requesting it to pulled up front 10/10 on speediness
2nd the hotel tub was inop the jets barely worked and for a huge hotel that amenity should be in working order.

Loved the property. It’s downtown close to so many restaurants, convention center, Union Station. I had a great time and the staff were friendly and could give suggestions on local sights. Loved my stay. I would definitely advise to pay for comfort and convenience.

This hotel has an unethical manager named Dylan. When I arrived at the hotel he informed me that my reservation had been declined because my credit card company had issued a "fraud alert". I was also informed that at the very moment I was making my reservation the Marriot had purchased the remaining available rooms leaving me no place to stay. I had to demand that the Embassy Suites find me another room and I was given one at Union Station Hotel--also a Hilton property--making Dylan's entire story very dubious. I would not recommend this hotel and I am re-evaluating my connection to the Hilton Honors program.

Parking is expensive. $45/day tips. Plan accordingly. Breakfast is great but very busy. They should have multiple stations (in addition to the waffle and bread stations) spread out rather than one main buffet. Omelettes were fantastic.
Pool is very small, too crowded, and there were no towels. Rooms were a good size but walls were very thin. Room next to ours was up until 3am partying (with young children) and smoking marijuana which wafted into our room.
Valet and staff were nice and accommodating.

Staff was nice and helpful.
Complimentary reception was very disappointing as it was late getting started. The manager was in no hurry to assist in the delay.
The room was dated, furniture was old and chipped. Plugs on nightstand not working.
Most importantly, the room was clean.
Overall, the hard working staff made our stay pleasant.

Every employee we encountered was very kind and eager to help. The staff really are great! In theory this hotel has everything you need for a family trip, huge rooms, pool, free breakfast, close to everything. It’s pretty dated and the cleanliness was okay at best. Pool was really filthy.
