The staff were friendly and the updates to the facility were excellent!

Its probably not a great time to visit this hotel. They claim the breakfast area was closed due to construction. We didnt see evidence of this construction, just a closed breakfast area. Instead, they gave us a bottle of juice and a box with a packaged bagel, creamcheese, yogurt and apple. The coffee in the lobby was luke warm. I would have chose another hotel if I knew prior to booking we would not have a regular breakfast. Thankfully there is a McDonalds close. Also, there was a problem with the wifi and we could not get wifi at all. This was dissapointing because we had to add data plans to our phones. The room was strangely musty smelling and warm when we first walked in. We had the air conditioner going all night to keep the room air fresh, in the middle of winter. Wish I picked one of the other hotels in the area.

Very convenient if you are interested in shopping. Many options for eating Top Golf is very close .

Location

This hotel was not very nice. We specifically looked for a hotel with Continental breakfast since we have three kids and the breakfast was under construction. They had breakfast boxes which consisted of a boiled egg and stale bagel. When I asked if the hotel would do anything to compensate for the lack of breakfast they refused. They also refused to empty our trash since they said they only clean every other day even though the room had a sticker advertising that if you wanted your room cleaned they would do that if requested. The room had a view of two dumpsters because of the construction. The room itself definitely needs an upgrade the carpet looks nasty. I would suggest staying at one of the other hotels in the area. The staff did not care that their accomodations were not great and did nothing to make this subpar stay any better.

To find out after checking in with no recourse to back out that they have no breakfast or what they call a cold box breakfast was a joke. The only reason I stayed here and the only reason I will not ever come back.

very nice and clean room

When we checked in, we were given the keys and then immediately went up to the room. Scanned the key card on the door and it turned green and you could hear it unlock. We tried to open the door and couldn't get it open. We tried several times and eventually had to go back down to the front desk to get some help. The gal came up with us and acted as is this happened all the time, no big deal. She showed and told us that you have to be patient and wait and jiggle the doorknob just right in order to get in. She got us in, but it was a pain every time we left and tried to get back in it took SEVERAL minutes to get it just right in order to re-enter the room. When we entered the room, it was SO hot an stuffy so we immediately kicked on the air to cool it off and it took a long time to cool down - it never did get super cool, but we made it work. The carpets in the room we so stained and dirty, you almost didn't want to walk with no shoes on. The breakfast was so, so. The juice machine was down, but overall, it was okay for a "free" breakfast.

Staff were incredible! Extremely helpful and always courteous. Our short stay was a pleasure. We plan a return trip early next year.

Love the breakfast waffles and the breakfast lady was very helpful and friendly. Her cheese eggs/ sausages are excellent.

Comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and lots to choose from. Friendly staff.

Could be better the breakfast

I wouldn’t stay again. The showerhead is horrible it sprays water everywhere. The pillows are very flat and offer no support, making it hard to get a good night sleep. The positives are that the staff are really nice, breakfast is decent, hotel is in front of a great outlet mall and is easily accessible to many amenities.

The room needed some TLC. Good carpet clean and the grout between the floor tiles was coming out in several places.

The hotel was clean the Pool was nice. And the staff were friendly. The beds are comfortable. Its close to just about everything. We have stayed here a few times and will continue to when we are in the area.

Pretty good. First room we were given had food under the mattress of one of the beds. The staff was quick on giving us a new clean room. Breakfast was delicious!

When traveling with my grandson, there are two things i always check that the hotel has...breakfast and a pool. The breakfasts were great and the staff was friendly and helpful. When we checked in, the gentleman told us the pool was closed for renovations, but we could use the Holiday Inn pool next door and our hotel's pool would be finished tomorrow, so we thought, no big deal. Unfortunately, that was not the truth...no one was working on the pool (our room was across the hall and my grandson checked frequently). The weather turned cold, so i did not think swimming next door and walking back with wet hair was a good oprion. I really felt that i was actually lied to. The room was nice and clean, though.

Booked 2 queen bed room for 5 people. In details, it said sofa bed so I assumed I was getting 2 queen and sofa bed. I went to hotel and hotel said there is no sofa bed in standard room. Therefore one of my kids had to sleep on the floor. Hotels.com offered nominal credit for inconvenience or relocation but after a long day, I just wanted to check in. Very disappointed in error of description.

Room was comfortable, clean and convenient. Breakfast was great and 24 hour coffee was fantastic. Did have a difficult time finding parking late Saturday after our event. But overall was an excellent stay.

Aircon not working well. Still hot. Tub drain so slow. Carpet is dirty

Not enough hotel parking so we were told to park across the hotel at the outlet mall parking. Not happy with that.

Stayed here to go to the MI Renaissance Festival, an easy 20 minute drive away. Hotel is in a large retail area with LOTS of dining options, and is across the parking lot form an outlet mall, that has an aquarium in it as well! No hot tub (not a deal killer) and the pool could have been warmer (also not a deal killer). We will return.

Check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was very good. The location was perfect for the outlets. The only minor thing is the mattress and carpet in the room could use an upgrade. We would definitely stay again.

All the employees were nice and helpful and the place was fairly modern and clean other than a stain or two on the carpet and bench. The property was well maintained and the stay included free breakfast as well as coffee being available all day. However the coffee was average at best and the breakfast wasn't the best, overall the experience was good and I would book here again if I needed a place close to the great lakes mall.

Fast easy check in. Plenty of things to do with Great Lakes crossing right here. Close to Pine Knob, so it only took us 15 min with heavy traffic to get there
