Actually we stayed at Vintage Hotel (close to Ok Studios) because Ok Studios couldn´t accommodate us. They took care of our booking and moved use to Vintage hotel and kept us well informed (we were able to choose from different options they offered us).
When we booked in there was some misunderstanding, our booking was for three persons but the room was for two persons and the travel bed was missing. There is no reception at the hotel but few phone calls solved the problem and we got the travel bed. So overall everything was great.

Very friendly staff in downstairs restaurant. Clean room, loved the ability to cook in the room. The decor wasn't quite as quirky or unique looking as some of the pictures made it appear but overall I really enjoyed my night at Ok Studios. Would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable and stylish space. Only complaint was that both times I stayed here the host gave the wrong room number and check in code. Was able to get resolved by calling them, but was frustrating when checking in. Also, free street parking!

check in process was really stressful. when we first arrived to check in, our code for the door was not working, we were new to Iceland and did not have a phone to call. there was a lady in the restaurant but she did not even tried to help us. After emails back and forth with the property, while we were outside in the freezing weather, we finally were able to get in to our smelly room. the shower was dripping constantly and the room smelled awful, we spoke with the house keeping team, they tried their best however they did not succeed neither to stop the leaking shower nor to get rid of the smell. very very bad experience never again!

Our room was brilliant, large with a comfortable queen sized bed. The kitchen was fully equipped, perfect for making breakfast for early morming starts. OK studios is a hidden gem. Service and communication was also very fast

Thoroughly enjoyed this trip and this property made for the perfect home base! Clean, super interesting decor, everything we needed to feel at home. The location is incredibly walkable with everything you could want from the city within minutes! Communication with manager was smooth and simple. When we had a challenge arise with the door code they resolved it quickly and were so helpful! When we come back we will likely look to stay here again!

Location is perfect, it’s right in the city center and close to many bus stops that tours do pickups and drop offs! We had a little trouble at the beginning getting the code but they quickly responded. I would definitely stay here again!

Spacious studio with comfortable bed and nice skylight window if you are on the ground floor. You get your own code to the front entrance and entrance to your room so it is very safe. Close to everything in downtown. We had a lovely stay here.

While the room itself was lovely, getting into the hotel was stressful and I will not recommend this place to folks who are new to the country as we were. When I booked the hotel I received a communication from the hotel directly saying that we would get more info when our stay got closer, but was not told that there was no check in desk, or that the entrance to our room was through a busy restaurant. I found out from a nice waiter who noticed my confusion that I had another email with a door code and additional information. I did have the email but the door code was missing. I had to call the number provided in the email (they did not initially pick up and had to call me back). After several hours of driving from another part of Iceland we were tired and just wanted to shower and go to bed so this was very stressful. Another small detail that normally wouldnt have bothered me but because check in was so confusing, it was the straw that broke the camels back - there was no coffee. There was a nespresso machine provided, along with several other kitchen utensils but no pods. All of our other accommodations while traveling provided the coffee if they had a nespresso machine (because grocery stores do not sell them)

This is a central and great place to stay! We had an issue with our shower drain not draining and water flooding into the whole apartment- which was not ideal- but when we reached out to our host, they were quick to fix the situation!

What a poorly maintained room. No toilet paper holder, no shower nozzle holders. Both were ripped out of the walls and not fixed. Very dark, only 1 dim light working in the entire place, no light in the kitchen. Very dirty with black moms in the bathroom. Bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy. Outlet in bathroom coming out of the wall. Incredibly noisy with people screaming and yelling until 4-5 in the morning EVERY night. So loud and difficult to sleep

OK was an excellent place to stay in rejykavik. The room was much larger than we expected and had a great kitchen with supplies and dining table. Bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable.
The communication with the property manager was excellent. Great directions and helped out immensely.
The room was unique as we had to walk through a restaurant (not associated with the hotel). Kron was the name and it was usually very busy. We got to know the staff and decided to at least have one meal there. Great food.
Will definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at OK Studios. It is a little hard to find at first since you have to walk through a restaurant and it’s not labeled well, but once you do, the provided code is very helpful. Everything was very clean when we arrived. The location is great- close to downtown and bus stop 10 for all transportation needs! It’s also close to the harbor and is easy to walk everywhere. We would stay here again when we return to Iceland!

Ok Studios has a great location very easy walking to restaurants, shopping and parking hints to see! The room was clean and welcoming with a sunroof and a cover so we could sleep! Very comfortable with excellent communication prior to our arrival in Reykjavik!

The price is very good. Less than $60/night. The bathroom needs to be refreshed or deeper cleaned. Flies inside the room when we arrived. Could use better pillows.

I received an email which was supposed to include the entrance key code but that part of the message was blank. I was on the late side arriving and have so far not been able to contact the hotel staff.

This was the first accommodation stay I had in Iceland. It is basically in the street where all the stores, bars, cafes are at so location was perfect and walkable to almost anywhere in downtown Reykjavik.

The communication from the property was spot on regarding directions and expectations. Unfortunately, I had a small incident with the door to the room and had to call the main office. The problem was resolved within the hour! The balcony was gorgeous to sit out at in the evening!

I never received a confirmation email telling me how to get into the property because there is no front desk. I spent over an hour and a half trying to figure all this out and had to call multiple times internationally to reach someone. So that was expensive. When I did get my room number I was never told I had to go through a restaurant and then a back door to get to my room. That was super awkward bringing my luggage through a restaurant.
The room had only a skylight with a broken window shade on it. The room had a very funky odor. The bathroom was disgusting. It smelled like a dive bar bathroom. It looked like there was a year's worth of soap scum buildup on the glass of the shower. There was a makeshift toilet paper holder out of a coat hanger. Nowhere to hang towels.
I was able to relocate to a second room after complaining about how dirty the first room was, yet another international phone call I had to make....
Second room was a bit cleaner. This one had no toilet paper holder, toilet paper was sitting on top of the radiator. There was nowhere to hang towels, the glass of the shower was soap scummy. The mini fridge was not clean. The hallway reeked of heavy cigarette smoke. The stairwell light was out. There was garbage in the hall and food spilled on the floor outside someone's room.
We were given the wrong code for our second room and that required another international phone call.
Google maps takes you to the wrong location.

A bit noise from outside, but nothing to complain about. Never got a promised towel that was missing, but otherwise w great experience.

This property was not what it showed online. Our stay here was awful. The apartment was so dirty I barely wanted to sleep in the bed and showered in sandals. There was an awful smell in the apartment. I would never recommend this place other than for the location.
