The location is great and the facilities were okay, almost good. The room was comfortable. However, the hotel is a bit old and often it felt like the staff were just staring at screens when you walked in. There were also some empty water bottles under the bed (probably worth cleaning there too)
5.0
Big and comfortable clean room
GPS apps not work well in Korea and a bit complicated to navigate for first checkin but then it’s really easy to visit all

It was the fourth or fifth stay at Hotel Manu. Love the location and appreciate the efficient staff and housekeeping crew who made us feel so welcomed when we greet each other

Overall, the location was good as it is near the Seoul Station via a footbridge. However, the hotel needs to be remodeled especially the carpeting and the lobby area (old leather sofa).

Great location! Short walk from Seoul station and close to many tourist attractions. Appreciated the free bottled water.
Good good and beer in the restaurant.

Hotel location is great, Seoul Station and Hoehyeon close by. Due to some reviews I was expecting the room to be small, but it wasn't that bad, my mom is traveling with me and we stayed at the standard two beds room for six nights, it was comfortable enough for us. We paid for breakfast, and it was really good, but it was the same dish every morning. I would definitly stay here again, I would just not pay the extra for the breakfast. Overall, I liked the hotel and amenities.

Hotel Manu is about 10 mins walk away from Seoul station. we had trouble finding it at first. there was a reviewer who said that it is linked to the station by a bridge and that is true but it is not a short walk. it is outdoor. but we grew to love the bridge, called Seouljo. it's like a garden on a bridge, with many trees along it. it's beautiful. so while it takes about 10 mins (with luggage maybe more than 10), it's very pleasant to walk on that bridge.
BUT, Hotel Manu is very close to Namdaemun market which is great. I get my breakfast there during our stay. and Hoehyeon station exit 5 is right at Namdaemun, which means the hotel is very close to Hoehyeon station, just not Seoul Station.
the room is a very decent size, clean, comfortable. on our first night as we arrived late at night, we had beer and chicken at a restaurant located at the hotel called Soulista and it was very good. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Manu. on

$250 per night just to live in a place smaller than a prison cell that does not offer free water & breakfast.

This hotel was amazing. They kept room cleanness and kind attitude to visitors. I would like to stay this hotel when I come back to Korea. Thank you .

The property can actually be accessed through the connection bridges directly to the Seoul Railway stations. However I did not find this at the night I arrived. Crossing the streets on a heavy-snowing day costed a little hassle. I wished I could find the bridge-path earlier.

We only stayed a night in transit and arrived quite late, after 10pm. The hotel is located very conveniently near Namdemun market and Seoul Station. The concept is cool but a tad overpriced for what it is, in my opinion. Service is friendly and professional but I think you could get better bang for your buck.

Great for the price. Walkable to the train station. Room was fine. Limited interaction with staff but they were great.

Although rated as 3.5 on Expedia and 4 on google. But as my personal experience, I do not think it deserves it. The only reason I give 3 stars rating is only for helped us check in at 2pm instead of 3pm, otherwise I would give about 2. First of all, the reception is not as polite as other hotels we stayed(4 in Taiwan and 3 in Korean )during this trip. I could understand that they won’t provide any cutlery or chopsticks into the room even though they have resturant downstairs. But since they do not have business centre in the hotel, I have to do an online conference meeting in the reception area around 4am in the morning. I had my headset on and keep my voice very low, however they asked to leave the area since the reception is closed 2am-7am! I have to go back to the room, as the result, wake my wife up totally!
The reason I only give 3 for cleanliness because the coffee cup is dirty(been used but not washed) when we checked in. And we were given a towel has a big hole in the middle one day.
The location is great but the room is quite small for the price.

Convenient location - Manu is connected to Seoul Station via a link bridge so one has the choice to not navigate underground. Seoullista - a lively pub in the hotel - offers good Korean fried chicken too!

THE WORST, SCAMMIEST, & NASTY HOTEL EVER! Beware because they will overcharge and steal your money. I'm not sure how ANY good reviews were ever left about this place at all. I've traveled a lot, and I do mean a lot! Out of all the hotels I've ever stayed in, this was, by far, the worst customer service I've ever experienced at any hotel. Plus, the room was nasty, and they are a bunch of scammers. We paid $160 on Hotels.com to book/hold the room. The remaining $600 was due at check-in. They refused to let us check-in unless we paid the entire amount of $800. The lady who checked us in was extremely rude and condescending. She was the rudest person I've ever encountered at any hotel I've ever stayed in or the entire 2 weeks we were in South Korea. Not only that, the room was nasty with warped particle board shelving and end tables that were burnt with cigarettes, cheap and uncomfortable box spring 1980s mattresses, the cheapest shampoo that made our hair look and feel like horse hair, only heat and no air conditioner, spotty internet that wouldn't connect longer than a minute or two, broken wall outlets, and a super small awful TV. Not to mention, I received an email a day after check-out that I still hadn't checked out, but I was smart enough to take a video of me checking out. Now, I have to dispute all these charges with my credit card company since they want to rip people off. Do not stay here. Even the cab driver laughed when I told him where we were stay

Arriving in the middle of the night and starving, there were no 24-hour restaurants near the hotel, but there was a convenience store a three-minute walk away, which was helpful.
The room was clean and very relaxing with no voices or noises from the surrounding rooms.
I would stay at this hotel again if I stay in Seoul.

The location is really accessible. If you like walking around, this is definitely a nice location to stay at.

Walking distance to Seoul station & namdaemun market, very convenient

The noise generated by the crowd of the restaurant right below the hotel room could be nightmare. Luckily the hotel let me change room to the higher floor (for this I’d rate it 5 out of 5). Other than that, it’s overall an ok hotel considering it’s price.

Air cond cannot be adjusted and is noisy can hear car noise. Cleaner does not clean the room properly.

Near Seoul station. Very close to Mandaemun subway station which is only one station away to Myondong. The hotel was descent and clean. The only issue was that the TV was not working 3 days out of our 5 day stay. The hotel gave us a meal coupon for one breakfast for compensation. Hotel staff members were very kind and friendly.

The room is clean and fine. Location is a 5-star but it's extremely noisy... There's a construction site next to this hotel, and our room is on the 4F facing the Seoullo 7017 Skygarden–can't believe it's crazily noisy at night! Lucky that we just stay for one quick night.
