The front desk staff and house keeping we super nice and friendly. We stayed in a queen studio suite. The layout of the room was nice, the room had one queen bed, a couch, window seat and an eating bar. The refridgerator was a small dorm size fridge and it smelled a little stale. The bed was comfortable. The entire room needs to be remodeled. Everything seemed to have some wear and tear on it. We did not eat at the breakfast bar because of other reviews, I did look at it and it appeared to need a good remodel as well. The grass outside was tall and needed to be mowed. The security lock on the back door of the hotel was broken so anyone could come and go as they pleased.

Sonesta essential was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. The room was clean & the bed comfortable. Staff very friendly.
It does require some updating, some parts of the hotel looking worn.

Found clearly visible pieces of plastic on the carpet and visible dirt on bathroom floor behind door - no or very inefficient cleaning. Breakfast: No hot tea, only some bread and waffles.
Specifically asked for 3 rooms close by another, but got 3 rooms on 3 different levels - was told by receptionist, that such requests would not be forwarded by Hotels.com ?? (worked flawlessly at other hotels). Unfortunately a poor experience.

Hotel was clean but had to ask for shampoo and lotion. Breakfast was awful. Came down before 8, no coffee, no eggs or biscuits. Orange juice was sour. No cream for coffee or butter. Had to ask for everything. Very disappointed. Next day same.

We’ve stayed here several times during the rodeo season. I’ve pointed out issues with their stair way doors on my last stay and was surprised to find that the door to the 3rd floor fire escape stairwell would not open. I’ll not be returning if I can help it. The breakfast at 7am was slim pickings. Only one person was on staff when we left and she was very young. She was helpful though and courteous. Safety issues definitely need to be addressed.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and helped me check in pretty quickly. The room was clean but the sheets on one of the bed looked a little dirty and was torn. The towels in the bathroom one of the looked dirty. Other than that everything else was good.

Our first room had a nonfunctional fridge and dirty sheets, such as stains, multiple hairs in between the folds and a ripped pillow case. We were then moved to another room that was a bit better. The sheets were still dirty and we had to change the bed ourselves. The “comforter” had blood stains on it. There was a hair in the bathtub. I went and purchased cleaning supplies to make myself feel more comfortable. The tv is small and meets the minimum requirements. The beds are very firm. The pillows are lumpy. Some of the staff was friendly, some weren’t. Overall, we will not be staying again.

The only good thing I can say was the price was very affordable and the room was not dirty. The hotel looked like it was undergoing some badly needed repairs and updates. No smoke detector in room, no toilet paper in room, the fridge was all iced up, and the breakfast (advertised as a hot breakfast) was horrible. Definitely a no frills hotel. If all your looking for is a nights sleep and a shower, then this would be okay, otherwise go down the street and pay a little more for a decent room. Don't believe the pictures on the website...I was actually there.

The hotel appears to be under renovations, so dust and equipment is expected. However the cleanliness of the hotel was awful. The front desk attendant reeked of weed, but he was friendly during check in. When getting to the rooms, out floors were filthy. Dirty qtips and smashes skittles on the floor. Nothing appeared to be wiped down or cleaned. The shower curtain was broken and did not fit the shower, so the entire bathroom flooded when turning on the shower. It was not a pleasant experience.

Best I can say is that the lady at the front desk was friendly. Worst luggage carts I've ever seen. Breakfast was less than average. Had to ask for napkins and butter. Overcooked eggs didn't help. Wouldn't recommend staying here. There are better options. Another Wyndham failure!

Very tired hotel. The staff was helpful and kind. On-site laundry was helpful and convenient.
Our first room AC on the second floor would intermittently make a loud noise and the staff moved us. The AC in the second room on the third floor was better and it smelled better, but the room was more run down.
The beds were comfortable.
The breakfast was substandard and poorly stocked. If that were improved it would make up for the condition.

The property is tired looking. The landscaping looks like it hasn’t been tended to since the hotel was built 10 years ago; Overgrown and very unkempt. The rooms need some work too. The mattress needed replacing. The cushions on the stools were badly stained and gross. Light bulbs burned out. These are some basics people and a little upkeep goes a long way.

The checkin clerk couldn’t get us checked in. It was 2:00 AM and my daughter was tired. Had to stand in the lobby while he made calls. I gave him the email from Hotels.com showing my confirmation number. He finally gave me the keys as asked me to come back to the day desk person to confirm I was checked in. The security latch on the door inside the room had been removed, the exterior doors at the end of the hail way were propped open at 2:00 AM. I pushed a chair and our luggage in front of the door as a security measure. We finally got to sleep at 2:45 AM then the fire alarm went off at 3:45 AM Saturday morning. Sunday morning at 3:52 AM the fire alarm woke us up again. I will never stay there again.

The first room had Air Conditioner issues so I moved to a different room.
The room was clean enough but was in poor condition.
Stains on the walls, rust in the sink and shower.
I'm pretty sure the toilet was a childs toilet
Repairs that had been made in the room looked like something a 5 year old with a toy tool set had made.
The owner obviously takes ZERO pride in the building and business.
But again...the Employees were all fantastic..

This property is in a total state of disrepair. AC ducts leaking in dining area. Only two tables had chairs to sit down. No when when we went down to eat. Wasn’t being monitored and we had to wait 15 minutes. Elevator broke down. Broken pieces of equipment stacked in stairwells. Entry doors didn’t work or broken.

The beds were comfortable, and the AC worked. The room was unattractive and almost depressing. This seems like an old property in need of extensive renovation. Our room was not cleaned while we were there. We would not stay here again.
