We had a crew working in Luling, TX that stayed here. The communication I had with the owner & staff was excellent. I felt Manny went above & beyond to accommodate our crew!

I get the covid no food thing BUT it should be crystal clear that the breakfast is NOT happening right now at this establishment when booking. Other hotel we booked in Gonzales is up and running fully-btw stay at the Best Western when in Gonzales! Much better service, cleanliness and amenities. Booking 3 rooms for 3 more weeks there! All said, this place sucked and there was no opportunity offered to rectify it. Much better places to stay

Great stay! We rented the room very last minute! The young man at the fronts desk was vey nice and professional. The room was clean. The AC was a little noisy but nothing you cant sleep through. Overall, the experience was good.

Hotel staff was nice and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Only comment would be that a larger TV would be nice and the shower curtain was a stained and look at replacing.

The manager was on site as well and he was very friendly and attentive towards me. He was open for recommendations on things to do in Gonzalez. While the facility was very well kept, the room was very decent. It smelled clean. The restroom was well maintained. I had no problems. At check in I was advised about the pet fee which was $20.00 a day. I have no complaints.

Perfect place for a business trip to save money because it has a kitchenette. I was able to cook for the week.

THE MGR AND STAFF WERE VERY HELPFULL.THERE WAS NO BREAKFAST. THE BOTTOM OF THE TUB WAS VERY SLICK. I AM 83 AND IF I HAD FALLEN !! AFTER ARRIVING, I WAS CHARGED A PET FEE OF 20.00 A NIGHT. AND MY RESERVATION WAS AUG 25 THRU AUG 27.

We checked in on Friday night for a work event in Gonzales over the weekend. Saturday night after work (approx midnight) we go back to the room and the key was not working. After calling 830-519-4353 over 10 times with no answer we go to the front desk and it’s completely dark, locked with a sign to call a different number so we did (see pic) and AGAIN NO ANSWER. After honking and knocking very hard on the lobby doors we called Hotels.com customer service, they as well tried to reach the property and NOTHING. So, we had to go to Microtel inn next door, they tried to get a hold of them for us also, and still nothing. So after all this we were left with a paid room that we couldn’t get in, so had to stay at another property and spend additional money. Hotels.com offered a $35 credit but no refund as they said I had to get with Days inn for the refund. So far I’ve left 3 messages to the GM of Days Inn, and still have no return call and my credit card is still charged for 2 nights totaling $172. Overall a horrible experience, And very upset that Hotels.com can not assist with getting my money back and only offering a $35 credit.

Left room and returned shortly before checkout at 11 to retrieve items left in the refrigerator and the room had been cleaned and items from the refrigerator were thrown away. Also, reserved a room with a king size bed and got a room with two queens ( no big deal it worked but wonder if the price on the two were the same)1

Manny the manager made the property 5-star! I go to Gonzales every year and will definitely plan to stay at the Days Inn again.

The breakfast was pretty good actually. Easy check-in, friendly service, and quiet property.

Had trouble getting the key card to work, TV would not function, front curtain was missing a piece so would not shut all the way, no bathroom trash can, breakfast buffet had no yogurt, bagels, or fresh fruit. Bed was comfortable though and front desk attendant was helpful with restaurant recommendations.

There was no table or reading lamp provided by the bed, only the ceiling light.

When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby was empty, no one was answering the hotel phone. After about 5-10 minutes, I finally walked around outside to a door that said PRIVATE, knocked, and the hotel clerk came out of the laundry room! Said she was alone and had to do laundry. Got to our room to discover the air wasn't getting cool, AFTER we've unpacked and showered to settle in. We called and were given another room. Next, discovered that the ice machine didn't work!

This is perhaps the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and it was such a cheap price I couldn’t believe it. Everything was beautiful and clean I would absolutely stay again on my next trip to Shiner Texas!

Booked this hotel based on good reviews on Trivago, and because of low cost. Overall I feel I got what I paid for, but it was an uncomfortable stay. The room was dirty in places, particularly in the bathroom, and very humid inside. The carpet felt moist. Also the room had several mosquitoes in it and we kept killing them as the night went on. We didn't realize how many there were until going to bed, and felt by then it was too late to switch rooms. Beds were acceptable, however the pillows left something to be desired. They were the size of decorative couch pillows, and were extremely lumpy. Overall hotel suited our needs for the night, but I won't stay there again.

The person on duty Friday early evening was very nice and accommodating. We couldn't get the TV to work and he was busy fixing it within five minutes of my call to the office. One of the beds had some dirt on it, the outdoor area overhang in front of our door had a slight leak, there were some bugs in the bathroom, there was only one complimentary coffee package, and one of the tea bags had been partially wetted from a leaky instant hot water machine. Most disturbing was that the deadbolt on the room door did not fit into the frame so the only security was the manual door latch that lets the door open partially to see who's there. If someone with a pass key were to come in, they could get the door partially open. It was explained that the whole building had shifted. The room itself was large, the bathroom was huge, and it had a decent size closet with an iron and ironing board. The kitchenette area was nice. It lacked any kind of blankets. The WiFi was easily accessed and just fine. Their website on Hotels.com needs to state 1st or 2nd floor per room. All in all it was worth the very reasonable price for the night. The only really bad problem, was the dead bolt.

We were in town for 2 nights. We used Expedia to book this hotel, and the Microtel...think that was the name of it. Anyway, this hotel is a few yrs older, but still nice. The staff is extremely friendly. There is a great place for dogs to run, or to park semi's, motor homes, or vehicles being towed behind the hotel. I would stay again if we were back in Gonzales TX. .............................................................................,,,,
