A unique property for sure, however the rooms are very dark, there was construction on the property when there (building a yoga building) morning to night noise, there is not a lot of privacy as the rooms all open to common areas. very expensive for what it is. We booked a massage and specifically hung around for it only to be told that they gave our time to another guest but did not say sorry. STaff are not friendly.

The Balquisse is one of the most stunning and beautiful places that we have ever stayed at.
The grounds, rooms and all facilities are gorgeous. Immaculately designed and breathtaking.
We booked a deluxe room but we’re upgraded to a suite. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom has full amenities provided and the daily service efficient. Each morning we would go to breakfast and the room was always clean and tidy by the time we got back.
Breakfast was scrumptious, fruit, pancakes, eggs, granola, and the best coffee we have had at a hotel in all of Bali.
We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was equally lovely.
There is no need to leave, but if you wish to walk to the beach and see the sunset, it takes about 15 minutes.
The hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport.

One of the most wonderful stay I ever had.
The place is just out of time. Both Balinese style we were looking for and kind of colonial annex which will amazes you.
The staff is the nicest and thoughtful.
I will definitely go back there if I come back to Bali.

Nice hotel with a cool and photo-friendly ambience. The room was a bit dark and the bathroom could really be better a this price. Staff was however friendly and cleaning very well kept. We loved the relaxed layout with two pools and direct access from the room.
Information regarding all ”good to know” about the hotel, breakfast, amendities, the possibility to visit ’Shaba’ (which is a really cool villa connected to the Balquisse with a third pool) etc, could really improve. Not much information about anything from staff upon arrival nor any basic pamplet left in the room. Breakfast was nice but a few more options would do good.
The beach is across the road. Good supermarket plus restaurants within walkingdistance.

This is an amazing property nestled into the heart of Jimbaran area which feels like a home away from home. It's a nice escape from the hustle of Bali if you just want to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The property is so beautifully decorated with every little detail considered that the pictures and videos online don't do it justice and words can't describe it. It truly is a little slice of heaven and really needs to be experienced in person.
The staff who work here are bar none. They are exceptionally helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The selection of the food menu is also amazing.
The only thing that needs improvement in my opinion is the spa. The spa treatment itself was great but staff members should not be allowed to have their phones on during treatments because it is distracting. Also due to the way the spa is set up here it is in the same area as other hotel guests rooms and where they dine for breakfast. Staff members should be more considerate when guests are changing and leave the room vs just standing there waiting for you to get undressed which is uncomfortable. They should also not be allowed to open the door to the room during a service because a customer is essentially naked under the sheets and it's an invasion of privacy to expose them to the outside and anyone who may be walking by.

Wow! When we booked this we wasn’t expecting much as the pictures don’t really justify how amazing this place really is. It is like a 5 star restore at to relax; so quiet to kick back and relax. Facilities and rooms are all excellent. Will be back soon on our next trip to Bali.

Balquisse Heritage Hotel is the perfect place to holiday in luxury and comfort at a beautiful boutique hotel. The grounds of the hotel are very beautiful with three separate pools so that you can find a quiet spot to relax. The area is very well situated near the beach - a 10 minute walk. The room was comfortable and very clean. Finally you have to mention the staff who are very helpful and welcoming! Great visit!

I love the decor in the Shaba👌Gorgeous!!! But the Teak houses were too dark, and a bit damp☹️ And I found the Balquisse part of the Hotel very dark, too dark to put your makeup on,.... the rooms need much more light 💡 and also the family room staircase was way to steep!!!!!!!to dangerous for children & the elderly 🤔... the best part of the Hotel was the Balquisse swimming pools, the best temperature ever, & the restaurant was superb 👌

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. From the decor to the service it’s hands down a great experience. There weren’t many people so we were the only people by the pool. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The whole vibe takes you back in time. I would definitely stay here again. Only con is that you can only take pictures with a smartphone unless you want to pay an extra $100+ an hour. My husband and I bought a DSLR for our honeymoon and we’re disappointed we couldn’t use it. I understand charging people who aren’t staying in the hotel to take pictures but to have paying customers have to pay extra to take pictures seems a bit ridiculous. Overall great experience though and definitely a beautiful place to take pictures.

Even though the entrance was shocked me a bit when I arrived, but inside was surprise me a lot. The Aroma keep in the room and smell nice to me; the staffs have nice smile and provide a very warm service all the time. they helped me rent the bike, find the bike when I dislocation it, recommend nice food to me outside the hotel........Etc.
Price is reasonable, but one thing is kinda sad to me as they dun have water boiling pot in the room which I can't cook my cup noodle in the room( but I went outside at 1 am and find security to help and they bring hot water from kitchen to me, so its still good to me but just convenience
My wife said if she come to Bali again she will stay in the same hotel.

Awesome staff,! The food was quite good as our first night in Bali with traditional Balinese. Grounds And pool are pleasant and funky with Indonesian furniture and a unique style.- we both got a fabulous Balinese massage. A little oasis tucked back, behind another resort , it really is amazing. Jumping and Indra were fabulous but the staff overall was above any place we stayed anywhere. Frindely, helpful and knowledgeable.

Having been born in the Middle East, worked as a flight attendant, and travelled widely both for business and on vacation, I can honestly say this is the best, most stunning hotel I have ever stayed in! My four days here have been the perfect antidote to the hectic hussle and bussle that is now Ubud. The staff are friendly but discreet and relaxation in beautiful surroundings is guaranteed! Great food in both the hotel and nearby sister restaurant Balique. Highly recommend!

Breakfast is a fixed price menu, small portions, watery scrambled eggs with one slice of very over cooked bacon. If you're gluten intolerant you'll struggle - they don't cater at all for it. Normally if the food is average in Bali it's fine because there are plenty of places to try out but jimbaran is not so easy and there aren't any decent breakfast places in walking distance from hotel.

We booked this place on the last minute for our last night to be close to the airport.The room was really clean, spacious and the decoration was amazing.The rooms open on the shared area, so you could feel a lack of privacy ... but you can use the curtains so we were fine.We could hear a little bit our neighbours one night when they came back late, but probably because we were very quiet with our baby sleeping. It didnt disturb the baby at all.The food was delicious and the staff was really accommodating (cooking baby food for example).The spa was nice and I had a very good massage with aromatherapy.Both swimming pools were clean.It is also close to Jimbaran Beach where you can grab some seafood platters.When our flight was cancelled, we decided to go back to the hotel and the staff immediately offered another room.As for a lot of places in Bali, they could fix minor issues (cracks on the wall, ...) to make the place perfect but overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely go back.Best hotel we had in Bali so far.
