Only 4 minute drive from beach and beach bars, and a 10 minute drive from Watch Hill. Very quiet location for a getaway! Outdoor pool and hot tub were lovely but only open 9am to 9pm... 7am to 11pm would be better! Will definitely be back for future trips to Misquamicut Beach.

Vastly over-priced. It's clean, but otherwise everything else is minimum or worse condition. Check-in and check-out personnel were gruff and unhelpful, we weren't told about availability of coffee in the morning. we weren't given wi-fi info, beds were like sleeping in a hammock, the place is old and acts like it.

Our stay was not terrible , but we did have a few annoyances. The furniture is dated , but kept very clean . there was only a slider door that led out to the balcony in the room , so the room was kinda stuffy because there where no other windows . bed was comfortable , sheets where nice. The restaurant on premise was very good and reasonably priced . Overall I would stay here again , its just not a modern or fancy place .

This place is the only one that still had power during a blackout last due to backup generator. Rooms are always clean and quiet. We did report that the sliding door does not latch. I understand it is still "off season" but I was also expecting at least coffee - but ever everything was locked up and I had to drive to a Dunkin . Also there was no Internet for a period of time I the morning. Check in is 3 pm checkout is at 11am which is good. They were only two places open at this time of year and this one is by far the best

Booked room through Expedia. Inn was closed for season! Upon arrival, the owner asked to see my confirmation. She said they were closed for the season. After waiting about 30 minutes, the owner returned and said we could check in. We were the only 2 people in the entire place! Alone! No Wi-Fi, phone service, security, lighting other than our floor. It felt like being in the movie “The Shining”. For $176, I am outraged. No amenities, apologies, credit for breakfast. Nothing!

The property was very dated. Felt like a time warp back to the 70s. The room was very clean. The jacuzzi was great. Toilet was VERY low to the floor. No coffee or continental breakfast offered/available. Venice restaurant was very overpriced and the food wasn’t good. Overall… a 3 out of 5 experience.

Expedia negotiated a room change from double queen to king without penalty. But upon arrival, I was assigned a double queen. The card key didn't work and staff closed office at 6:00 PM. Even though check-in is advertised untill 10:00 PM. Finally, received new king assignment, but it wasn't a standard king, instead it was a Handicap King which was awful. So, slept in Handicap king and waited til next day to be reassigned standard king, Basically, I overpaid as Black Friday rate was never applied. I will not return to the Winnapaug Inn in the future. And, further use of Expedia is also in question.

Very clean. Spartan to a degree. Microwave and fridge nice touch. No coffee maker, clock or glassware but nice large room and comfortable bed.

Loved my stay here. Was very homey feeling and comfortable as well as clean with a nice space with small balcony that was able to have gorgeous views. Will definitely return

Cute hotel off the beaten path yet close to the beach. It was a beautiful sunny October weekend and this place was perfect for our impromptu off season beach days.

We were in RI for a URI family weekend and stayed here. It was about 25 min from URI. The hotel is older and could use some updates. But it was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly. But the woman who oversees the breakfast area was rude and not friendly at all. She spoke down to my husband and me which was annoying. But all in all, our stay was nice.

Located on a golf course. 2 restaurants within walking distance. Great pool. Clean rooms and excellent room service. The rooms were a little dated but the water pressure was excellent and location was perfect.

Room was clean and tidy, ample linens & towels, plenty of hot water. The bed was firm which I like and it was very quiet. Due to the weather we didn’t use the pool but it looked clean. The breakfast choices could be better; not the most inviting space where the breakfast is served. The front desk personnel were not very friendly or welcoming. Overall a good experience.

Comfortable room. Clean. Toilet paper holder falling off wall. Breakfast -muffins tiny. Butter only for toast. No peanut butter or cream cheese. No hot water for tea . No cold water.

This place has it all if you are looking for a clean & quiet place set apart from the noisy strip. My room was immaculate, with a large bathroom and luxurious tub and overhead heat lamp. The balcony view was wonderful in the am and peaceful in the evening. It is close enough to all the action yet far enough away to be restful. After spending the day at the beach, this was the perfect place to unwind, and catch up on some correspondence...
I actually had a scare when I left some jewelry behind in my room but Joseph and his staff kindly retrieved and secured it for me! I can't wait to go back again soon- thank you!

Easy parking. Easy checking though with few words no additional info. NIce, spacious rooms. Breakfast basic Continental worked for us. Would stay again. Didnt have a chance to try the bar or restaurant, they were closed for a holiday.

It was very difficult to get around due to we dont drive. It was very hard to get lyft and uber dont service this area. The property was . The person at checking was cold like a stone did not welcome us. He gave us the key and. Said your room is down the hill.

I did not go to excellent because the exercise room closed early (for me) at 9 PM. Also, the breakfast was OK, but no hot food at all, like eggs or waffles, only toast. However, it was nice to have maid service again and the room was nice. Our bath fan was terribly noisy--maintenance should address that. Great internet service!

The location is very convenient and the views are very nice. The pool area was also great. The rooms are adequate - typical hotel rooms - that could probably use some updating.

The stairwells were not illuminated and therefore a safety concern. The elevator got stuck a couple times. The desk clerk was kind of bland when we checked in but let us check in early and park 2 cars. He was back the next morning and friendlier. The continental breakfast was disappointing but the woman supervising it was nice. Room clean and comfortable but no in room coffee.

Noisy, staff at the front desk was less hospitable than is appropriate for a 2 or 3-star hotel. Would not recommend the hotel.

Rooms were fine, clean linens on bed and bathroom. Shower heads need to be cleaned. Maid service was spot on. AC could use an up grade but kept room cool. Would definitely stay there again. Great view of the golf course
