It was very close distance to shopping ,dinning, and beach. On site parking. Rooms and property were clean.

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend getaway. Nice place and friendly staff.

The clerk was not at the desk, had to wait about 10 minutes for them to show up. The sink in the bathroom did not drain well, and when I had a shower 3 inches of water remained in the tub. We had to do a lot of plug juggling to charge our phones and we could not find a way to turn down the heat. Had base board heaters. Had a poor nights sleep. Would not recommend this motel

There was no way to contact staff after hours. Guests staying above us were running around jumping all night to past 2 am. Horrible never use this motel again!!!

This hotel is extremely fair and the type of hotel that I consider, you get what you pay for. Large rooms with a microwave and refrigerator. It’s in walking distance to mostly everything. About an 1/8th of a mile from the hub of action. A great omelet breakfast place directly across the street. It was clean and the staff was friendly. What more can you ask for. We paid 10-14-22 $160.59.

Great service! We would definitely stay here again.

The motel was ok. Not a place I would stay again. It was clean and all, but not very comfortable. The sink and tub were plugged. We called for them to come and fix it. They never showed up. You get what you pay for

The motel has been updated and the rooms have a beachy feel. I think it's a great value, set back just enough from Rt 1 that you really don't hear any street noise, but you're close enough to walk into Ogunquit. I would stay here again without question.

A little dated but super charming. Our room vas very clean, and the reception desk agent was sooo nice!

A wonderful weekend getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location within walking distance of center of town.

This was my second time staying at the Sea View. Checkin was a breeze and the staff was very accommodating switching my room to a lower floor. It is very quiet but also very close to all restaurants, shopping and other attractions.

I stayed here about 22 yrs ago. I think the damaged furniture and rug were the same. We wore shoes at all times. The bathroom was clean. Convenient to downtown.

We were eithin walking distance of the quaint downtown shopping and lots of restaurants

Comfortable place for a one night stay as we travelled north. Good price compared to other places.

It was wonderful. From the guy who checked us in to the staff who helped with cleaning or anything we needed. This is one of the best places I've ever stayed in Maine!!!

My wife and I were happy with our weekend stay at the Sea View. Vinny was very helpful amd accommodating. Great location. Walking distance to all our favorite restaurants and shops downtown.

Although that property is in a convenient location, I would not stay there again. Carpet around the bathroom sink was soaked due to leaky plumbing, AC was not working well until we checked the vent and it was clogged, sheets were stained.

Great value and location

The rooms were very dated! The sink for the bathroom was outside in the room. The light above the sink was flickering constantly and had a bulb missing without a cover to the light, A huge Amour was in the room which had previously had the TV in it. It was like an elephant in the room. The room was dark and not inviting. The room had not been cleaned by 2:00 PM so I went and got my own clean towels and returned the old ones to a person doing the laundry,I would never stay there again

The service was friendly and always helpful!

Some issues with direct TV availability, ants in room and during our stay there was a storm with both thunder and lightning creating some electrical issues with internet, TV and the hot water heater.
Fortunately, we were moved to another room and the manager was helpful in trying to resolve issues.

The only good thing is location. Room was horrible. Bed off frame. Chipped & damaged doors. Room smelled of cigarettes and stale beer. Outside room furniture was worn and unsteady, view was of their bulk trash and 2’ weeds growing in their blocked gutters. Don’t know how we got scammed by Hotels.com and pictures but we did. Pay the extra money not to stay here

Good location that is within walking distance to great dining, shopping and beach.

They lost power, I know not their fault but they had no idea when powered would be restored, even trhough the rest of the town had power, they offered a second location for the inconvenience but the 2nd location was NOT good. Room was old, very old. Exposed pipping, the shower stall was tiny (and im a small guy). No pool, the original room was supposed to have a heated pool.
I totally overspent on this room...for $300 per night you would expect much, much better!!

This hotel is in rough shape. The pool is NOT heated and there is coffee but no breakfast. (The website advertises heated pool and continental breakfast, not true.) The location is great, walking dist to everywhere and there is parking.) The rooms are large sized but the condition of everything is meh at best. It is a lower price for the area and that is good. The
staff was lovely and responsive. Stay here to save money but dont expect luxury.

This was an average/less than average place to stay. I'm not a cronic complainer so I will only list a few things that REALLY irked me during my stay. There is not any sea view at this "Seaview Motel." The pool is NOT heated and all of the white chaises around the pool are very dirty and moldy - not to mention several chairs were in need of repair. The floor of our bathtub looked absolutely firthy as did the entire area around our sink faucet. The noise from the air conditioner is very loud and interferes with sleeping at night. I put on a fresh pair of white socks before going into town and walked from the chair next to our bed to the bathroom and back to the chair. I sat down to put my shoes on and the bottom of my clean white socks were BLACK with dirt. Even though I hung up all of my clothing when we arrived, it all smelled musty by the end of our 3 day stay. All of my clothing needed to be laundered immediately when I arrived home - even the items I did not wear during my stay.
We lost power during a heavy rain, which I realize is not fault of the management. We were partially compensated for the night we were there without power which was a nice gesture from the manager. The location is good since it is walking distance to town, however, a lot of updating needs to be done.

luckily the owner was wonderful and replaced a sink plumbing that was backing up.......we did ok with it the first night. The maid was very nice too. We would stay again.
My son was nicely treated too and we appreciated the first floor room due to my diffiulty walkig.

The rooms were nice and clean , and the beds were very comfortable. Plus location was great

The property is a bit worn down, but provided exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway - clean rooms, comfortable beds, super nice staff, walking distance to several restaurants and an ice cream shop. The hotel is right on the trolley line and easy to hop on and off to avoid driving in the traffic and finding parking. The pool was ice cold and deck furniture was old and broken. The grounds could use a facelift, but we were there for a safe, clean place to stay and this motel provided just that.

Liked the room and very clean and spacious just very disappointed with the electric outlet placement. With all the electronics today we need outlets in a close position to bed for alarms and charging things. Also if you have any medical equipment you are stuck on one side of the bed.

Friendly, helpful staff, great location, close to downtown. The only negative I could find was that guest smoke out at the pool. Other than that it was a great experience and look forward to returning next season.

Had a great time. Bed was comfy. Short walk to the beach and town. Would definitely stay again

I like the location, friendliness of the staff, they had nice toiletries. Had everything we needed. Would stay here again for sure.

The motel was a bit unclean in our room and there was a strong odor that never went away…i know it is a beach town but paying $250 for a totally gross and smelly room is ridiculous

The property clearly has not been maintained this season at least, but likely in a good year or two. Everything is overgrown and unkempt. The pool was so filthy my 10 year old would not swim in it. The pool furniture was mostly broken and there was black mold on the white loungers that they attempted to clean off. The floor in our room was laminate or pergo and it had not been mopped at all this season. It felt like walking on sand and turned our socks black after 10 minutes of being in the room. The rest of the room appeared clean, but the floor being so bad had me questioning it all.

The Sea View is a “good deal” at about 100-300 cheaper than most of the other places in Ogunquit. the rooms are big which was nice. The website says there is a heated pool and a continental breakfast. This is not true. The pool has no heater and feels like the ice just melted and there is coffee in the morning and that is it. The rooms were musty, beds were meh and several things were broken or coming out of the walls. The a/c was good, location was great and the staff were friendly, warm and accommodating. If you want a bargain, come here, if you want comfort and luxury accommodation, this is below standards (and my standards are not five star. This is an old motel badly in need of a renovation. The family who runs it and the house keeping staff were all lovely, it is just very poor quality rooms.
