We loved our stay here! The little community was amazing. Food, local shopping and fun. Highly recommend this place!

This hotel was very clean and very comfortable. It's not very big which makes it more cozy. Conveniently located right next to a little deli supermarket. 10 miles from Capitol Reef park entrance. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Very nice inn and cabins. Clean. Well kept! Just what you would expect outside of a national park!

While it is an older building the room has been well maintained. It is clean and updated. I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable and clean; nice amenities and lovely grounds and environs. Laundry available onsite next to great general store with deli. The staff is awesome!

Was able to accommodate last minute, room was clean and comfortable staff was great we will be staying again if we are in the area

This property was overpriced. I was there for the eclipse and paid $300 for one night. There is no breakfast included. The space is very rustic; but clean.

No electrical outlet in bathroom, toilet was not secured to floor.

Excellent service, nice comfortable room, nice area, close to Capitol Reef National Park

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The general store next to the hotel has a great little cafe for breakfast and lunch. There are also cabins that can be rented that are very spacious.

It was convenient for everything we wanted to do in the area

Room was extremely small. No coffee in room. No microwave in room. Limited outlets. Overpriced for what we got.

We enjoyed our brief stay at Austin’s Chuckwagin Lodge. It was an easy drive into Capitol Reef. The accommodations were nice and there was a little grocery store on the property that had everything we needed. The Mexican restaurant down the street was excellent.

When were you checked in? We were given a room that was above the laundromat and kitchen and was not in the main building. I reviewed the Expedia listing, and this very small room was nowhere to be seen. The rooms on Expedia were large with wonderful views, and this room was tiny with no view at all, and a extremely noisy toilet, that literally sounded like a screaming cat. Every time it was flushed. I feel that the accommodations were extremely misrepresented.

The nice part was having the store and deli on site, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. However, our room was small, above the store, and the building was very old with furniture and fixtures to match. The floors creaked loudly when we walked around the room and when other guests walked down the hallway.

Not sure why this is rated as highly as it is. This is a very basic motel. Everything just OK. Pool was not clean. Certainly not worth how expensive it was.

The chuck wagon store has a great breakfast and deli for making sandwiches for your day excursions . I booked the rooms here because the photo in the internet site shows the building with rooms with balconies or chairs on a patio by each room . My room had neither . it was above the general store .My room was entered thru a hallway at the top of a two story staircase. Not seen on the web site. No balcony or patio .

Room was above the General Store. It is smaller, but clean and quiet. Perfect for one or two people.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Loved the grocery store and restaurant just below our room!

Overpriced dump. Like a bad dream from a 50’s motel. No amenities Small room. Terrible experience. Could have stayed in a similar dump across the street for a third of the price. Don’t stay here

Everything was great except WiFi pretty weak-I really think it’s Torrey and not the hotel. Also, walls were super thin so neighbors walking above or on the stairs was very loud. Clean and comfortable. Front desk staff (both check in and check out), fine but not out-of-their-way friendly.

Charming well-maintained property. Convenient location to park and restaurants.

Good location. Helpful staff. But facilities are tired—carpet needs cleaning, bathtub fairly beat up.

We had a great stay as we explored Capital Reef National Park. We had plenty of room for the five of us, and loved the kitchen, living room, dining room, etc. It let us all spread out. We also appreciated the outdoor pool still being open, along with the hot tub. It helped with all the hikes.

We stayed in a two-bedroom cabin, so that I could escape my husband's loud snoring at night. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The place was clean and it was conveniently located along Rt. 24, the main drag through Torrey. This is a great place to stay when visiting Capitol Reef NP.

Bill was extremely friendly and professional and helpful when we checked in. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a nice sized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Very nice. Thumbs up.

The hotel is ok- the shower need to be renovated. It seems like renovated but in the shower the shower faucet was loose.

Like the large trees and log structure look.

It was great having a store on the property open 7:00AM-10:00PM for food and beverage supplies. Unfortunately, their internet service isn't the best - spotty during our three night stay. Was pleased with our cabin and having a kitchenette!

Small town motel atmosphere with very welcoming staff
